CH-10. Hi guys, I finally finished the new chapter after changing it several times; it has a lot of components so it maybe a bit confusing but I'll explain it a bit at the end. I was confusing myself with the timeline since I started Contemplation at ch160; so much has happened since then I wasn't sure if my story follows their timeline or my own one so the ch is mostly positioning the time I guess; anyways enjoy the new chappie, I'll start planning the next one.

Ren dropped onto his couch with a glass of whiskey in his hand, gazing out the window to the night sky as he slowly sipped the amber liquid which was calming his mood. With the bottle not far from his reach he drank alone in his dark apartment, with nothing but his liquor and his thoughts.

"Am I becoming that obvious? That jealous?" he asked himself as he finished the glass and began pouring the next, "probably why Yashiro kept confiding me to my room during breaks," he thought back to his working day. He leaned back against his soft couch and let out a frustrated sigh as he contemplated his love life, or lack of, more actually of a certain Love Me girls; she was driving him crazy and testing his limits.

Maintaining all his various personas was draining him and he was beginning to make mistakes. He would slip jealously and defendantly in situations, claiming and insinuating that Kyoko or her character was his when she wasn't truly; he knows she isn't ready yet, but his patience and moral had been constantly challenged. Since the Heels began and she got sick and depended on him more, he had been drained physically and mentally; he had a taste of what he longed for but now it was under threat with all the additional manly attention directed at the oblivious girl. Even though he had warned Kyoko about her actions there is only so much he could teach that girl when it came to men, which there was a number of in her life now.

There was Bridge Rock whom he over heard making dinner plans with her 'again' whilst supporting one of the members to take action and not give up.

What did they mean by again? He wondered when Kyoko had gotten so acquainted with the group.

Kijima was still pursuing her with curiosity about twice the beauty and maturity, asking him questions about her and messaging her. He recalled the colourful message he saw with a sparkling emphasise on 'love'... why did it have to be that word?

Natsu and Setsu; need he say more? They had their own admirers and then there's Murasame who had an unnatural interest towards Setsu, especially since she began filming; not to mention that there's still two idiot musicians he had to worry about; one more in particular since she had a job at Akatoki (though she was working with Aria, being in that company/vicinity concerned him).

But more worrisome to him was Senri...

Ren paused his thought as he swirled his drink; just how much of a threat was Senri.

They were already on first name basis, which took him over a year to reach. He often saw them entering the lobby together with a smile and laughter gracing their lips. They weren't hand in hand but they stood close to one another; he doubt it was because she was cold. They would stand and exchange a few more words before they going their separate ways, sometimes she casually placed her hand on his arms and sometimes they would meet later again and leave together.

Even Yashiro has noticed this, initially teasing him about a new man in Kyoko's life, he has stopped recently as he realised how possible it was.

Ren downed the rest of his drink and pouring another glass by now; they're together because he works at the Darumayu with her so its convenient, he tried to justify to himself as he closed the bottle again.

Senri... he had been introduced to him by one of LME directors not long ago and had met a few more time after that and with Kyoko as a friend; he was a nice guy and hardworking, likable too. Though new he had already gotten many small jobs on his own which have led to bigger things like commercials; he was one to keep an eye on a director told him, which he intended to do so regardless.

*Bzzt bzzt Bzzt*

Ren noticed his phone vibrating and reluctantly flicked it open; he wondered why he just didn't switch it off. "Hello," he answered in a mono tone as he sipped his drink again.

"Ah um hello, did I call you at a bad time?" a sweet voice sounded through his phone, making him quickly pull it away to confirm the caller id.

"No I'm just at home now, is something wrong?" he asked.

"Huh no everything's fine, um I was just wondering if you liked your bento, was it too spicy?"

"Oh," Ren recalled today; she had given him the promised bento while he was working but unfortunately they weren't able to enjoy it together. "It was delicious, not too spicy at all, I've could have eaten Yashiro's share as well," he chuckled.

"Haha please... if you say that I'll really double up your portion next time, although the bentos these days are getting bigger for you," she replied playfully. "Ok, I won't take too much of your time then, I just wanted to check that you ate it all, you've been busy so I was worried you've gone back to onigiri's and energy drinks."

"Please, would I choose that over your bento," Ren feigned being insulted but the pair laughed over then phone. "Anyway I better let you go to sleep, you have work and school tomorrow correct?" he spoke softly to.

"Yeah... I do, make sure you go to sleep soon too, I know you've been really busy lately too; rest well Ren-san, I'll see you next time," Kyoko replied as she began ending the conversation.

"Kyoko."

"Yes?" she spoke with surprise at the sudden lack of honorifics which tinged her cheeks.

"Next time... lets eat the bento together."

"Of course," Kyoko replied sweetly as the pair exchanged goodnight and the call ended.

Earlier that day*

"Kyoko-chan? Why are you here?" a surprised Ren asked at the unexpected girl before him; having expected Yashiro to be present at his break room door.

"Afternoon Ren-san, I made you a bento today, I promised you last time that I would and Yashiro told me that I would be able to catch you here today, you haven't eaten yet correct?" she asked as she entered the room and to the table.

"Ah yes," Ren began but she turned a knowing look at him and he sighed, "no... I haven't eaten yet, thank you?" he asked as he moved behind her and placed his hand on her shoulders and peered over her, "smells good."

"Spicy pork with salad and some mini croquettes too," she informed him as she opened the lid and leaned back against him briefly. She let the delicious smell hit their noses and he made a sound of appreciation, as one of his hand dropped down to Kyoko's waist as he leaned closer to her to look and smell the food as his lips curved up. Kyoko caught sight of his smile and without thought, picked up a small piece of croquettes with some chopsticks and brought it to his lips.

"Delicious," he spoke snapping her to attention away from his lips as she quickly turned away and thanked him as a she tried to cool her flaming cheeks.

"You should eat now, you still have work to do after this," Kyoko informed him.

"Ah yeah, I will... will you be joining me?" he asked her; she nodded with a fluttering heart.

"Next time... lets eat the bento together." Rens words replayed in her mind, as her heart fluttered like before.

"I wonder why he sounded so lonely when he said that?" Kyoko asked herself as she leaned down on her futon. We eat together often when we play the Heel siblings... I wonder why?

Her thoughts wandered back to when she delivered the bento; his appreciative smile, how close he was to her, how she bought the food to his lips; his lips.

Kyoko shook her head violently and hid under her sheets; no Kyoko... don't think too much about that... he was just happy for food. Trying to forget, she ended up remembering more and brought her hand to her lips as she recalled the secret kiss they shared that night in the hotel room.

"Will you be joining me?" he asked her but didn't move; he was enjoying their position and just wanted to stay in their position a bit longer.

This is nice; Ren thought to himself as he dropped one of his hands to her waist. Just him and her, her as Kyoko; he could faintly smell her light perfume, as well as feel her warmth through her clothes to his hand.

His lips curved when she nodded briefly against him as he looked down at her then to the lovely bento she made for him and noticed the additional bento's she had prepared.

"Did you make something else as well?" he asked curiously at the boxes.

"Oh, one of them is for me and I made a bento for Yashiro and one for Senri-kun;" she spoke as she felt the room drop a few degrees.

"I see," Ren spoke after a pause as his hand dropped from her waist.

"Ren they need you on- oh hello Kyoko-chan," Yashiro greeted Kyoko but stiffened as he felt the atmosphere in the room which was only confirmed when his eyes met Rens; he had bad timing.

*Sigh* what timing... I was obviously jealous; Ren thought to himself as he tipped the remaining liquor down his throat; although she didn't realise it, he slammed the glass on the table.

"Senri," he huffed out; what did he know about him.

New LME model, quick progress in the industry, no manager, independently seeking work within and outside the company, hardworking, works at Darumaya, no car (hence why he taxi's with Kyoko), courteous, friendly, easy to get along with, seems educated, maybe 19 or 20 years old, flaws... none he was aware off.

Maybe a little reckless since he did go up the emergency stairwell to the 20th floor when the elevator broke down; didn't help if the director was still on the ground floor when he reached the meeting room. He recalled finding Senri collapsed on a bench when he did that, regretting how silly he was; he added fit to his list of what he knew of the teen.

Suspicious... Ren thought to himself as he thought back to his analyse as he poured another glass, just half a glass. No one can be that clean... he knew this from personal experience, he just wondered what would change the current image he saw.

Meanwhile elsewhere

"You want me to take over now?" Senri objected loudly at the older man, his fist clenched angrily in disbelief.

"Yes, it'll be like we had originally planned before, though you'll need to work harder to catch up now," the man spoke indifferently as he filed through the paper on his desk. When he heard no response he turned his gaze back to Senri, "do you have any questions?" he asked in a strong tone as Senri diverted his gaze with clenched teeth; he could taste blood as anger slowly bubbled within him.

"No, I understand," he spoke reluctantly as he unclenched his fist; his life having been shifted back to a path he had abandoned long ago. "I have something to do now," he informed the man as he bowed to him, before leaving the room. The mans gaze was fixated to the paper across his table again as he closed the door behind him as he walked down the hallway to his room, feeling lost at the change in his life again.

Why has he decided to choose me now, why after he said that (Senri)

"Onii-san!" a familar voice caught his train of thought as he paused his steps for the younger boy to catch up to him, his innocent eyes excited to see him; "ONII-SAN!"

"Hwah!" Senri shot up from his bed, as it felt like his body was falling. Sweat was running down his face as he quickly checked his surrounding and let out a relieved sigh. "I'm still here," he thought to himself as he grabbed his shirt as he recalled his dream cross memory.

"ONII-SAN!" his eyes cringed as he vaguely recalled the haunting cry back then as his world tumbled and went black.

He sighed as he flexed his left hand feeling a light twinge; somethings going to happen... that dream must have been a sign... he contemplated to himself with an uneasy feeling.

How long has it been since then... he asked himself as he brushed his hair with his fingers before moving the curtain to the window beside his bed and stared out to the night sky.

Please, just let me be... let me at least have this life

A/N: More mystery to Senri and Ren has to keep an eye on his now. For those confused from Earlier that day* part, it's a recap of when Ren and Kyoko met up that day while he was at work, the first section in Kyoko recapping and how she was feeling about what happened with respect the call she just had with Ren; then the next is Rens recap which gave more detail to when the met at work and why he became more curious about Senri. The last part is what was happening to Senri when the two finished their phone call, so having a memory dream of sorts.
