Hey guys, here's chapter 2 of My Guardian Demon. Here we go.
After the little incident with the cupcake, night had come. Gumball had been out like a light for some time now. Soon the kitten groaned and started to stir. He could feel that he was lying somewhere soft and cozy, with a pillow underneath his head. He must've been in bed. Except this bed felt like it had a lot more space. Gumball's eyes slowly opened, his vision coming to him.
"Huh?" Gumball looked on in confusion.
The blue kitten had found himself in a bed that was different from his own. The bed he was in was huge, an Alaskan king-sized bed if he weren't mistaken, and the room he was in was even bigger than that. The room he was in was big enough contain his small room, that's for sure.
"Well, look who's finally up," A voice said from beside him in a playful tone.
That voice. It couldn't be his mom's voice; her voice was usually fiery and angry half the time. This voice, however, sounded warmer and more soothing. Gumball turned his head to see someone lying beside him in bed.
It was a grown woman. This woman appeared to be a cat like him and his mom, except with the addition of horns that curved forward like that of a bull. The thing though was that her fur was purple in color, her eyes a golden yellow which went nicely with her black eyeshadow. On her right cheekbone was a small beauty mark below the outer corner of her eye. She had flowing, medium-length black hair that stopped in the middle of her back, bangs running down both sides of her face, the tips of her hair ending in magenta highlights. Her clothing consisted of a sleeveless, crimson red jean vest crop top that showed her stomach, zipped down halfway to show her cleavage. She wore a pair of black denim booty shorts, and to complete her look was a black choker with a heart-shaped pendant with a ruby in the center.
This woman had an extremely voluptuous body. She had a tight waist. Her hips were nearly as wide as her shoulders, and her thighs were unbelievably thick… honestly, her body would put his mom to shame. But what really caught the blue kitten's attention was the woman's chest. It was huge. Her breasts were even bigger than the watermelons you see at the grocery store. They were so big, it appeared that that little crop top vest of hers could barely contain them. It didn't help that she didn't wear anything underneath it. Yeah, those things would definitely put Nicole to shame.
"Ahh!" Gumball jumped, scooting back a bit, "Wh- Who are you? What are you?" he asked.
The woman giggled and sat up.
"I'm Kira, the one that took care of that cute little head of yours," the woman said, pointing to the gauze patch on Gumball's forehead, "As for what I am…" she raised her tail which was long and ended in a spear shape, followed by spreading out a pair of massive demon wings from her back, "I think that's pretty obvious."
"What the what?! You're a… y-you're a…" Gumball trembled a bit, his eye shrinking to the size of a pin.
"A demon? Yeah," Kira grinned.
"Aw, man…" Gumball muttered, "You brought me here to eat me and devour my soul, didn't you? Alright, but make it quick," he said, clenching his eyes shut.
"Pfft! That it is such an outdated demon stereotype," Kira scoffed with an amused roll of her eyes, "If I wanted to eat you, I would've done it the moment I came in contact with you. Besides, I don't really like the taste of cat; it's too stringy," she added reassuringly.
"So… you're not evil?" Gumball looked at her, raising an eyebrow.
"Of course not," Kira waved him off, "Contrary to popular belief, not all demons are evil. I mean, some are, but not all."
Gumball sighed with relief. Well, at least he wasn't going to die… today. There was a brief pause before Gumball cleared his throat.
"So, Kira… why did you bring me here? And where is here exactly?" Gumball asked, looking around.
"You're here in my house, in another dimension. As for why I brought you here, like I said, I took care of that injury of yours," Kira explained, "You know, for a boring, nerdy killjoy, that little sister of yours has got an amazing arm," she commented, caressing the kitten's temple.
"Yeah, no kidding," Gumball said in agreement, rubbing the gauze that covered his injury. However, it was in this moment he realized there was no sting of pain, "Hey, why don't feel any pain, or at least have a massive headache?"
Kira reached into the pocket of her vest and pulled out a small, corked vial. Inside of it was teal colored liquid.
"It's thanks to a little potion I cooked up. It accelerates the healing process and patches up your wounds," Kira explained.
"Huh. Thanks," Gumball smiled.
Well, this was a surprising turn of events. He had been out for who knows how long and just met a seemingly friend and admittedly sexy demon cat lady. Not only that, but she was kind enough to take care of his injury. That must've been some potion because he felt his skull crack when that cement cupcake hit him, and yet it fixed him like it was nothing. He would comment about how surreal all of this is, but then again, his brother was a walking fish that somehow managed to grow legs, so maybe he should keep his mind open a bit.
"By the way, my name's—"
"Gumball Watterson. I know," Kira said.
"How did you—"
"Try not to take this wrong way, kid, but… I've been watching you for a while now," Kira said sheepishly, looking away while rubbing her arm.
"How long is a while," Gumball raised an eyebrow.
"About five years," the demon lady admitted with a somewhat embarrassed blush, "At first, I watched you because I found it funny and entertaining how you kept getting yourself into trouble; it was like watching a cartoon. But after your sister was born, I started watching you to protect you. I'm sure you remember how she was when she was a baby."
"Yeah, she was a little monster. She tried to kill me and Darwin on multiple occasions and our parents never believed us. Nowadays, she's more of a brat than a monster though," Gumball told her.
"Fair enough," Kira shrugged, "Anyway, since that day, I've been protecting you from afar. Granted, I'm not watching you 24/7, but that's besides the point. Remember that time you were out of luck and you fell of the highway in the janitor's bucket?"
How could he forget? That was probably the worst day of his life. Various bad things happened to him that day, from getting beat up by Tina to wearing clothes from the lost and found. But none of those things were as bad as falling off several hundred feet off that highway. He was lucky enough to end up in the hospital with a few broken bones.
"I honestly thought I was gonna die that day," Gumball said.
"You would've, if it weren't for me…" Kira said, looking back on that day.
[Flashback]
"AHH!" Gumball screamed at the top of his lungs, seeing the broken highway bridge over a canyon as he rode in a mop bucket.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to him a sexy demon cat lady known as Kira was watching him as she flew through the air.
"Alright, this is the part where I save the little cutie from certain death," Kira muttered to herself, placing her hands close to each other. Her hands were then surrounded with a magenta-colored aura.
"No, I can make it!" she heard Gumball say.
"What?" Kira looked down at the kitten from above. She saw Gumball use the mop to accelerate the speed at which he was going.
"I'm gonna make it! I'm gonna make it!" Gumball shouted between pushes.
"He's not gonna make it…" Kira muttered to herself, placing her hands over her huge chest with a look of concern.
The mop bucket then flew off the highway… and did not land on the other side.
"I'm not gonna make it!" Gumball said as he fell through the air.
Kira furrowed her brows in determination. With a few flaps of her wings, she flew towards the falling kitten at incredible speeds. When she was in range, Kira aimed one of her hands at Gumball and shot a small ball of energy into him, causing a brownish-gold aura to surround the kitten's body. Kira stopped and floated in midair and watched as the mop bucket crashed and shattered into pieces. She looked Gumball over and saw that one of his arms and one of his legs were broken. She heard Gumball groan which, depending on how you looked at it, was probably a good sign.
Kira flew down and placed two fingers on his neck. She sighed in relief when she felt a pulse. The move she used decreased the amount of damage the kitten took and was what kept him from dying upon impact. Kira scooped the kitten into her arms, spread her wings and took off like a jet towards the nearest hospital.
[End of Flashback]
"Huh. I was wondering how I survived that," Gumball commented, "Wait, why didn't you just use that potion you just showed me?"
"I didn't have it on me at the time," Kira replied, affectionately scratching the top of the kitten's head.
"So, it's been you that's been keeping me alive this whole time?" Gumball asked.
"For the most part," Kira replied.
"Heh. Most people think they have a guardian angel watching out for them. I guess in my case, I have a guardian demon," Gumball said, shyly rubbing the back of his head. The two cats shared a small chuckle.
"Oh, by the way, your mom left this note for you while you were unconscious," Kira grabbed a piece of notebook paper from beside one of the pillows and handed it to Gumball.
"Dear Gumball,
Since you don't appreciate your parents, we won't be doing anything else for you. That means no food, no showers, and no rides. Darwin already apologized to your father, so you'll be going through this solo. Let's see how long you last"
Mom
Gumball growled, crumpling up the paper into a ball. That's how his mom wanted to play it? Fine. He was never one to turn down a challenge. That's one of the extremely few things he had in common with her.
"Uh, could you…?" Gumball held out the ball of paper.
Kira took the ball off paper into her hand and lit it on fire. Within seconds it disintegrated to ash in her palm. She tossed the ash into a nearby trashcan before dusting off her hands.
"So, this would probably be the part where I'd say I'll never leave your side until I save your life, but I doubt I'd be able to save the life of a demon. So, is there any way I can repay you for looking out for me?" Gumball asked curiously.
Kira grinned and tackled Gumball further onto her bed with a playful giggle. Gumball looked up and gazed into Kira's golden eyes. The kitten then felt softness of one of the demon cat lady's hands caress his cheek. A blushed cross his face as he swallowed a huge lump that was caught in his throat.
"Actually, there's more than one way you can repay. I only ask for three things…" Kira said as she inched her face closer to his, their noses almost touching.
"What are they?" Gumball asked, starting to sweat.
"One, I want to give you a kiss," Kira said in an almost sultry tone.
"Uh… ok? What kind of—mmph?!"
Gumball's eyes widened as Kira closed the small gap between them. The demon cat had tilted her head ever so slightly and connected her lips with his in a lip lock. Gumball then felt Kira's tongue snake its way into his mouth. This was weird, but the young cat soon found himself enjoying this. Magenta flames appeared in Kira's eyes before appearing in Gumball's eyes a second later. The blue kitten sighed through his nose as his hands subconsciously gripped the bed sheets.
He always imagined his first kiss would've been with Penny, but sharing one with a sexy older woman felt just as good. However, that feeling only lasted for a few seconds before Kira broke their little kiss, only a single strand of saliva connecting the tips of their tongues as she pulled away. This left Gumball panting a little.
"Whoa…" Gumball said at a loss for words, "What… What was that about?" he asked as they sat back up.
"Don't get the wrong idea, hon. That little spit swap we shared was just to establish the connection," Kira said while looking at her claws.
"Connection?" Gumball repeated, confused.
"Whenever you're in danger or in trouble, you can call for me and I'll swoop in and save your furry little ass," Kira said sweetly, affectionately scratching Gumball under his chin.
"Uh, cool," Gumball replied.
"Besides…" Kira placed a finger on Gumball's chest, "If I really wanted to make out with you, I would've straddled you or held in my arms and made the kissing way more intense," Kira said in an almost sultry tone as she traced a circle in the center of Gumball's chest.
"N- Noted…" Gumball replied nervously, Kira giggling at his expense.
"Anyway, are you hungry? You were out for a while, you must be hungry," Kira asked.
Kira received a response in the form of Gumball's stomach growling. The kitten glanced away with embarrassment.
"I… I could eat," Gumball replied.
Gumball sat at the table in the dining room of Kira's house. House? This place was more like a freakin' mansion. Kira's room was upstairs and if that part of the house was huge then the same went for the rest of the home as well, including the kitchen. Gumball sat at the back end of the dining room table, allowing him to get a good view of the kitchen. He had expected the house of a demon to be old, creepy, and medieval-looking, but it was anything but that. In fact, it seemed to be rather modern. The kitchen even had one of those new model electric stoves.
Looking into the kitchen from his seat, Gumball got a good view of Kira from behind. He could see that she was as tall as his dad. She wore an apron while she cooked, and while Gumball did see a pair of stilettoes by her bed, she preferred to walk barefoot around the house. He could hear her hum as she stirred a pot at the stove, her tail swishing back and forth a little while doing so. Gumball's attention, however, had been drawn to just beneath the demon lady's tail. Her ass was big and, by the looks of it, it seemed to be rather firm.
"Ok, Gumball, dinner's ready," Kira said from the kitchen, Gumball quickly turning his head away. She walked over with two plates in hand, "Ta-da!" she placed one of the plates in front of Gumball as she took a seat next to him with a plate of her own.
The dish in question was a thick gravy sauce with chunks of chicken smothered over a bed of rice. The smell of it hit Gumball's nose, the food's strong spices enticing.
"What is this?" Gumball asked.
"It's curry, a popular Indian dish," Kira told him, "Don't worry, it's the mild kind."
Gumball took the spoon and scooped a large amount into his mouth. The minute the food touched his tongue, the blue kitten was hit with a mixture of buttery, salty, and slightly spicy flavors. All three flavors blended together, melting in his mouth, no one of the flavors overpowering the other. It was like fireworks going off in his mouth.
"Well?" Kira looked at him with a knowing smirk.
Gumball swallowed. He was about to open his mouth and comment about how incredibly delicious the food was, but then remembered the challenge he had with his mom. He pushed the plate away.
"I'm sorry, this food is good, but I'm supposed to survive without adult help," Gumball said, folding his arms.
"Aw, come on. Just a few more bites," Kira pleaded with a small pout.
"Sorry. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I can't. I have to prove to my mom that I can last without her," Gumball told her, "Besides I think I can forage for food like I did during the class trip to the Forest of Doom."
"Yes, because that worked out SO well," Kira sarcastically remarked with a roll of her eyes.
Gumball growled in slight annoyance before releasing a small sigh.
"Look, could you… could you just take me home, please?" Gumball asked.
Kira released a sigh of her own then begrudgingly said, "…Fine."
The two cats stood up, Kira placing a hand on Gumball's shoulder. Magenta fires appeared beneath their feet and then shot up into a pillar of flames.
Watterson House…
A pillar of flames shot into Gumball's room, Kira appearing along with Gumball himself when the flames vanished. Luckily for them, no one else was in the room. Gumball looked at the alarm clock and saw that it was around 8 PM. Knowing his family, they were probably all watching TV together in the living room. Most likely they were watching Win or Don't Win.
"Thanks," Gumball told Kira as he walked over and lied down on his bed, resting his hands behind his head.
Kira sat down beside him at the edge.
"So, you really want to go through with this ridiculous challenge you have with your mom?" Kira asked skeptically, looking at the boy with a hint of concern, "You know, I read the note before you woke up. What she's doing is basically child abuse."
"Yeah, I can outlast Mom. Besides, she's not gonna actually let me starve to death," Gumball said.
"Because you're her child and she loves you," Kira assumed with a small smile.
"Pfft!" Gumball scoffed, "No, because she cares too much about her reputation as a mom to let that happen," he said with a roll of his eyes.
"Uh, right…" Kira glanced to the side.
"Anyway, I think we can come to a compromise," Gumball started, Kira looking at him curiously, "You can continue to come over this world, spend time with me and save my life and junk, and in return, you let me go through with this challenge and let me take care of myself," he offered.
Kira pondered the offer. She had been watching over the kitten for a while now. Knowing his luck and habit of getting into trouble, if he went through with this, he'd most likely get himself killed. If she stuck around though, he just might survive. She had a feeling she'd be saving his life a lot in the future even with this challenge. Well, at least it meant Kira would get to spend more time with the cute, little furball.
"Alright, you got yourself a deal, cutie," Kira replied, "By the way, speaking of visiting…" she pulled something out of her other vest pocket, "Here, take this," she handed Gumball something that looked similar to a wristwatch, a blue button on the left, and a red button on the right.
"A wristwatch?" Gumball looked at the item with confusion.
"No, silly, it's a transporter," Kira said, "Press the red button to transport to my dimension, and the blue button to get back home," she informed him.
"Thanks, but I don't think I'll be needing this," Gumball said, putting the device into his drawer.
"Eh, you say that now, but watch. You'll want to come see me soon," Kira told him, "Oh, and there are a few more things I need from you," she said.
"What?" Gumball looked at her.
Kira responded by leaning in, Gumball's face heating up as their faces were inches apart just like they were earlier. The blue kitten then felt one of her soft hands caress his cheek. The demon cat lady licked her lips, almost hungrily.
"I need some of your spirit energy," Kira said in a soft tone, "And before you ask, it's not the same as taking your soul," she quickly added.
"Huh?" Gumball raised an eyebrow.
"I'll explain later. Let's just say you have an excessive surplus, and I only want a little. Is that ok, hon?" Kira said.
"Uh, sure?" Gumball said, not exactly sure how to respond to that.
"Great, thanks," Kira smiled.
The next thing Gumball knew, Kira closed her eyes and pressed her lips firmly against his. The blue kitten's face turned red once again as he gripped the sheets, his eyelids growing heavy as he felt a tingling sensation run up his spine. After a minute, the kiss was broken as Kira pulled away, a sultry look in her eyes. Once again, Gumball found himself panting a little. This time though, he felt slightly weaker, as if his energy had been drained. Which it had, somewhat.
"Ugh. I feel a little… lightheaded," Gumball groaned, rubbing his head.
"Yeah, I might've taken a bit more than I should've. Don't worry, you'll recover. Just eat something or get some rest and you'll be fully recharged in no time," Kira said as she got out of Gumball's bed and stood.
"Ok, thanks," Gumball said, "See you around, I guess."
"Hmph. Sooner than you think, cutie," Kira winked at him over her shoulder.
The demon cat lady was then engulfed in a pillar of flames, which soon vanished along with Kira herself. This left Gumball alone, sighing to himself. Something told him that his whole life was about a lot different from now on.
Alright, that's the end of chapter 2. What will happen next is anyone's guess. If you have ideas for future chapters, let me know in a review or feel free to message me.
