A/N Hi! Got a nice little erei fanfic for all you attack on titan fans and erei shippers. Please R&R, don't be mean, I do accept ways how to improve but really, no flames. Thank you so much!

A bit of background;

So erei is canon, they are a couple and I don't know how, just go with it LOL. So Eren and Levi return to the barracks and (as always) Eren feels like everyone's death his fault. Based on a cosplay I found on youtube, so credit to them for giving me the inspiration for this.

It was the night after the death of Levi's squad, and when Eren and Captain Levi return to the barracks Eren strangely quiet, went straight to his room. Levi did the same, oblivious to what was happening in the room down the hall.

A few weeks later:

Eren and Levi hadn't spoken for a while. Feeling he was ready to talk to Levi, he knocked on the door to face the captain. A monotone voice replied "It's open" Eren slowly pushed the door open to see Levi lying on the bed, still in uniform. He patted the bed next to him and when Eren laid next to him, he wrapped a lazy arm around him. For one of the first times, Levi said,

"you know I love you, brat?"

"yeah, I know... I love you too, captain"

Suddenly, Levi jumped up, grabbing Eren's arm.

"What's this?" he asked, almost angry. Eren was silent as Levi stared at the thin scars across Eren's wrists. Eren winced as Levi raised his hand in exasperation.

"I'm not going to hurt you." Levi looked almost pained now as Eren stayed silent. Suddenly getting angry, Levi looked up at Eren.

"I'm supposed to be the fucked up one in this relationship!" he almost shouted "not you!"

Then he took a deep breath. "not you... why, why did you do this?"

"because it was me. I killed the only people in this world you trusted I killed them! It is my fault they died and now you have no one. I have got no authority to do that to you. None."

By the end of this speech, Eren had hot tears streaming down his face. They were both silent for a bit until Levi just pulled Eren down into a hug, Eren's tears soaking into his shirt.

"You didn't manage to kill all of them, though."

Levi broke the silence, after a while.

"W-what?" Eren was completely confused.

"Despite your most trivial efforts, I still have you, don't I Jaeger?"

at this they smile and Eren stood up.

"yeah. And I'm not going anywhere."
