I take a much-needed shower and change. I go to my closet and get a suitcase out. I put it open, on my bed. I pack everything I need for about a week. Grabbing my umbrella, I head back to the Candy Kingdom with my suitcase. I put my suitcase in Bonnie's room. I return to her lab, but don't let her see me because she's working hard. Memories float through my head.
"So you're the Vampire Queen," The pink 10-year girl had said to me. I didn't expect it in the middle of a funeral.
I nodded and said, "And you're the Candy Kingdom princess. I've worked with your parents for a long time."
She smiled and said, "Will you stay with me now that they're gone?"
I nodded and smiled. "What's your name?"
"Bonnibel Bubblegum. I don't like it. Just call me Bubblegum."
I smiled and said, "Nice to meet you Bonnie. I'm Marceline."

Later a peppermint person walked up to me and said, "Queen Marceline, what did you say to Princess Bubblegum? She has not smiled since the accident until you spoke to her at the funeral."
Instead of answering him I just walked away. Could I have changed her mind on life?

"Marcy! Give me my microscope back!" A 14- year old Bonnie yelled at me.
I gave it back, and said, "Why don't we go out for dinner?"
Bonnie sighed, "Fine, but I pick."

I remember this one the most. Bonnie just turned 16 and it was her party. She was bored so we went for a walk. She looked so beautiful in her pink colored dress. She didn't know I was bisexual. We walked to her fountain and sat on the edge.
"Marcy?" She asked. I looked to her and she continued, "Will you always stay here? I mean after I turn 18."
I pretended to think about it a minute, then said, "Yes, always." That's when I made the worst decision in my life. I leaned in and kissed her, she pulled away immediately. She ran off and I knew this was good-bye.
"Marcy? Marceline?" I snap back into reality, as Bonnie starts yelling at me.
"Sorry," I tell her. "You were saying?"
Bonnie explains, "I don't know. Ice Kings' powers don't make sense. I cannot figure out how it works. The crown on his head makes it worse, but I don't know what else to do. I'm sorry."
"Is there anything that might bring him back?" I ask.
Bonnie thinks about this a minute then says, "Well, I have a theory. To convert the Ice King back to Simon, we have to find thing from before he put the crown on his head. By bringing back memories he's lost, it may get him fighting the crown again, and with our help we may be able to get him back."
I nod and say sarcastically, "Okay, now all we need is to find things from before the Mushroom war."
Bonnie glares at me and says, "I'll get Finn to search for anything from before the war, and I'll do more studies with Ice King. Can you bring him here?"
I nod and leave for the Ice Kingdom.
Bonnie's POV
"So what do you need, Princess?" Finn asks as he walks in the door.
I say, "I need Jake and you to find anything you can before the Mushroom war, for an experiment. It may take some time but it would really help."
Jake says, "Alright."
They leave my lab and go on the quest I have assigned. A few minutes late Bonnie and Ice King come in.
I ask Ice King, "Do you remember anything from before the war?"
Ice King thinks about it for a while and then says, "What war?"
"Never mind. Do you remember meeting before Marceline?"
Ice King says, "Lots of people." He says a list of people I know.
I ask him questions, but all the answers seem dead-ended. Eventually, he just falls asleep.
Marcy and I sit in silence for a bit then Ice King mumbles, "Free me… Please free me. I must find my actual Princess, my Betty… Betty."
Marcy and I look at each other questionably, and because she has no answers to my questions, I know Betty is our missing link.
AN: 1. I have really bad writers block. Sorry, I may not post on this story often until I get ver the block. 2. What do you think?
