When Bo made it back to the Crack Shack the next morning, she felt like she was walking on a cloud. She and Lauren had made love last night for hours. Bo had never experienced anything like it before. Sure, she had tons of sex and more sexual partners than she wanted to count, it was par for the course for a succubus after all, but she knew what she had experienced with Lauren last night wasn't just sex. It was slow and sensual and no one and no thing had existed but the two of them and their desire to pleasure each other. It was amazing and when they finally fell asleep sweaty in each other's arms, Bo was more sated than if she had sucked an entire city dry of its chi. Add on top of that the round in the shower this morning, and she was one happy succubus.

After their shower fun, Lauren had taken some blood samples from Bo to work on some drug cocktail to help her with her control, and then had to leave for a meeting. Bo had gone down and talked to Lou Ann, who hadn't really had any more information to add about her mother. She knew her name – Aiofe, that she had given her up as a baby to protect her from her father, and that she had struggled with mental illness since then, but that was it. She didn't know where Aiofe was now or how to get in touch with her, so reluctantly Bo left and headed home.

And now she was one hungry succubus. Moving in to the kitchen she opened the fridge and grabbed some leftover pizza she figured Kenzi had ordered the night before and started eating a slice cold. Cold pizza wasn't her favorite, but the oven was a fire hazard and they didn't exactly have any other food in the house. And no one would be delivering to their neighborhood at 11 am. So cold pizza it was. At least their coffee machine worked, so she started that up as she happily munched on her breakfast.

Like clockwork, as soon as the coffee was done brewing, Kenzi dragged herself downstairs and over to the kitchen, plopping herself onto a stool and lying her head on the counter. Bo chuckled at her friend, and slid over a freshly poured cup of coffee, making sure the steam would get to Kenzi's nose. Perking up at the aroma, Kenzi moaned and sat up just enough to take a sip of the hot liquid, moaning as it slid down her throat.

"Rough night?" Bo asked.

"Is there any other kind?" came the reply.

Bo shook her head, "With you, I don't think so. Pizza?"

"Not yet, I don't think I have finished digesting the four slices I had last night. Speaking of, why the hell are you up and smiling so fucking early?"

"Lauren had a meeting this morning, and it felt weird to hang out in her apartment, so I came home." She didn't mention the Lou Ann bombshell. Not that she didn't trust Kenzi, but she tended to get a little loose-lipped when she drank and she didn't want to put Lauren in any danger.

"So its Lauren now, is it," Kenzi asked smirking at her friend.

"Shutup," was all Bo could reply, her grin giving away her happiness.

"Don't get me wrong, I get you lusting after Doctor Hotpants, but I just want to make sure you are careful. She is still the Morrigan, no matter how much lady lovin' you are getting."

"I know Kenzi, and I think you would like her a lot if you got to know her. I get she is the Morrigan and leader of the big bad evil dark fae, but she is a different woman underneath that façade."

"Whatever you say BoBo. She has an awesome liquor collection I sampled while you were getting 'healed', so as long as the good stuff is flowing she will be my best friend. Well, second best friend after you of course. And Jose Cuervo. And Jack Daniels. And - "

"I get it Kenzi," Bo interrupted. "Just try to get along with her please? I really like her."

Kenzi stared at her friend, seeing a look in her eyes she had never seen before. "Wow, you really are serious about her aren't you?"

"I am. I have never felt like this about anyone before."

"Not even Dyson?"

Bo shook her head. "Not even Dyson. Dyson is a great friend and the sex was good, but the connection I have with Lauren is not even comparable."

"Aww, my little succubus is growing up."

"Yeah, make fun all you want. Wait until you and Hale finally hook up and then let's see how soft you get!"

As Kenzi scoffed, Bo put her empty coffee cup in the sink and headed over to the stairs. "I am going to take a nap. Remember we have to be back at the Dal at 6." Kenzi nodded and plopped down on the couch while Bo climbed up the stairs to her room. After using the bathroom, she took off her boots, pants and shirt and flopped exhaustedly into the bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow she heard her phone ding. Grumbling, she thought about ignoring it but knew she would never be able to get to sleep if she knew she had an unread message, so she dragged herself out of bed and dug her phone out of her pants which were bunched up in a ball at the foot of her bed. Unlocking the screen, she couldn't help the smile that crossed her face as she read the message.

Miss you already beautiful. See you at 6, maybe we can have a real dinner after?

Typing in her affirmative reply, she put the phone back on her bedside table, burrowed in and allowed herself to drift off to a blissful sleep with dreams full of a certain blonde. Yeah, she was hooked.

Lauren's stomach clenched as she walked down the familiar halls. She had very few good memories from here and nothing had changed in the years she had been gone. This didn't surprise her - the fae hated changed, not much was different from 1,000 years ago so she had no reason to expect anything different after 5.

Strutting to her destination, Bruce following close behind her, she had her Morrigan persona firmly in place. It was a mask she wore to hide the hurt and fear she had developed from and of the fae during her time with the Light. Fake it till you make it she had heard once, and that was what she was going with.

Pushing in to the office, she ignored the young fae at the desk who jumped up to tell her she couldn't enter without an appointment and moved to the door at the far end of the room. Shoving it open, she glanced at Bruce who nodded and took up his position outside of it. His sheer size clearly frightened the small woman, who slunk back to her desk and eyed him suspiciously.

Shutting the door behind her, she moved into the office and sat down in front of the desk, smirking at the man behind it. "I always told you your security was crap."

"Ah Morrigan, never a pleasure. My security is fine, I knew you were here and told my people to stand down. If I hadn't, trust me, you wouldn't have made it past Alison outside."

Lauren quirked an eye at him. She knew he played up the arrogant idiot a lot, but he really could be cunning. "You know why I am here Lachlan."

Lachlan nodded, letting the silence fill the room for a few minutes. "I suppose I should at least thank you for not blurting it out last night at the Dal."

Lauren softened a little. "Nothing would have been decided last night, and it is not my place to out fae."

Lachlan smiled. "Still not sharing your species, are you doctor?"

"Someday Lachlan, someday. But you can't keep your secret anymore, you are the only hope of defeating the Garuda. You are the only living Naga."

Sighing, Lachlan pushed back from his chair and began to pace behind his desk. "We are all screwed then," he finally said.

Lauren arched her eyebrow, not understanding what he meant by that. Moving back to rest against the front of his desk, he started to explain. "Naga have 3 heads, each containing venom. To kill a Garuda, venom from all 3 of them is needed. I only have one head left."

Lauren leaned back in her chair, her mind racing at the implication of that. "What would the venom of one head do?" she asked. Lachlan shrugged his shoulders. "Weaken him? Piss him off? I honestly don't know. Naga and Garuda have been mortal enemies since the creation of time, but all of the stories speak of three heads. Nothing has been written about one.

Lauren nodded, chewing her bottom lip as she let her scientific mind race through the problem. "If I extracted and analyzed the venom, I could probably synthesize some in the lab that would augment what you produced. Obviously we would need another mechanism to deliver the venom, but that shouldn't be a problem."

Lachlan thought it over and nodded along with her. "You always were the most brilliant doctor the Light had ever had Lauren. I think that might work."

Bristling at the compliment after all the pain the Light had caused her, she couldn't help her cutting reply "well, if you had treated me better than the dirt under your shoes, I might still be here."

"I regret many things Lauren, and that was one of them. I know it is too late for apologies, so I won't waste your time with one, but please know that despite my obnoxious attitude, I have a huge amount of respect for you and do wish you well."

Lauren stared at the Ash, shocked by his words. Not knowing how to reply, she stood and prepared to leave. "Thank you Lachlan. I honestly don't even know how to respond to that after everything, so I am just going to leave it. Tonight, you can let everyone know you are a Naga and we can discuss the plan to synthesize the venom."/p
"Agreed. Next time, please call ahead before storming by compound. I may not be in such a good mood to let you in."

Lauren smirked, glad their awkward moment had passed and the snarky Ash was back. Nodding, she turned and headed for the door.

As she was reaching for the handle, Lachlan called out to her. "Oh Lauren, one more thing. Congratulations on bedding the unaligned Succubus. I hear Dyson is still chasing her skirt though – you better watch your back."

Not even bothering to respond, Lauren headed out of the office, Bruce falling into step behind her as she made her way out of the Light fae compound. Fucking Dyson, she thought.

After waking up a few hours later, Bo showered and headed back downstairs to find Kenzi sprawled on the couch exactly as she left her. The two finished off the pizza, a legion of robot hookers and finally headed to the Dal a little before 6. Since neither one really knew much about the Garuda, and Bo had been distracted by other things during her night with the Morrigan, neither she nor Kenzi would have anything new to add to the conversation. She hoped that at least someone else had made some progress, otherwise it would be another unproductive meeting.
