Bo and Kenzi arrived at the Dal a little later than expected after running into some trouble, and they found everyone was already there. Dyson and Trick were engrossed in a conversation at the bar and shockingly, Lauren and the Ash seemed to be engaged in a deep but friendly exchange. Bo watched as their heads tilted slightly towards each other, conspiratorially, and she couldn't help but wonder where or how this sudden détente had come from. Moving further into the room and trying to not wince from the pain, she felt the exact second Lauren realized she was there – not only did her heart skip a beat when a wide smile spread over her face, but her succubus mewled happily as her aura spiked up at least four notches.
Returning the smile, she slowly moved to the chair next to the blonde and bent down to give her a soft kiss on her cheek. "Hey sexy," she whispered softly, not wanting the rest of the room to intrude on her moment. "Hey there yourself," came the reply, the smile still gracing her beautiful face and augmented by her sparkling eyes. "I missed you today, I really didn't want to leave the bed this morning."
Bo chuckled. "I noticed. And trust me, if I had my way we would have stayed there all day. But I understand duty calls. Hopefully we can get out of here after this meeting and enjoy some, uh, quiet time together." Lauren smirked devilishly. "Oh, I hope it's not too quiet."
Bo smiled and gingerly tried to lower herself into the chair without drawing too much attention to herself. She and Kenzi had run into a bunch of rogue fae on the way over and had gotten into a bit of a brawl which resulted in her being stabbed in the stomach. It wasn't a deep wound, but it hurt like hell and the pain was compounded by the fact that they had all run away before she could feed and heal herself. And if she were honest with herself, the thought of feeding on someone other than Lauren right now was less then appealing. Why that was the case was something she wasn't quite ready to address, so she was doing her best to ignore it for now.
Of course her attempt at normalcy did not work when Lauren noticed her slow movements and grimace and immediately became concerned. "Bo, what's wrong? Are you hurt?"
Bo shook her head, she didn't want Lauren to fuss, and she could deal with the pain for now and heal later when they were alone. "It's fine, just a little scratch from some guys we ran into on the way over."
Lauren stood up immediately and reached out for Bo's hand. "Little or not, I want to take a look. It could be infected."
Bo looked up into the blondes determined eyes and knew she wouldn't win this battle, so grudgingly she eased herself up and took the offered hand. "It's fine, really."
"I'm the doctor, why don't you let me be the judge of that," she said as she led Bo to the restrooms in the back of the bar. Fortunately everyone was still engrossed in their conversations and no one really paid them any attention as they made their way out.
Once the bathroom door had closed, Lauren reached over and pulled up the black tank top Bo had on and her eyes shot up to meet Bo's guilty ones once she saw the damage. "A scratch Bo? You were stabbed!"
"You shoulda seen the other guy?" she asked tentatively trying to diffuse Lauren's anger.
"That's not funny Bo, why didn't you heal?"
Bo shrugged. "They all ran away before I could feed off of any of the guys who did this, and then we were already going to be late getting here so I didn't want to stop on the way over. I've had worse and figured I could deal with the pain for a few hours until …umm later."
"Later?" Lauren questioned, her eyes searching Bo's for hints as to what she was thinking. "You wanted to wait until later… with me?"
Nodding, Bo was unable to look at Lauren as now she was doubting herself and the relationship she was developing with the Morrigan that she was still scared to think about. It was moving so fast maybe she was making presumptions she shouldn't be. She'd never really had an adult relationship and didn't really know the ground rules for such. "Uh, yeah. Ya know, never mind, it was probably stupid and – "
Bo was cut off by Lauren's lips on hers in a fierce and possessive kiss. Groaning she deepened the kiss, her hands coming up to cup Lauren's head and hold her close. Slowly she felt herself being pushed back, grunting slightly when her back came in contact with the wall. Before she realized it, her pants had been opened and Lauren's hand was stroking her, teasing the outside of her walls while her hips ground into her.
Bo pulled away slightly, panting and trying to catch her breath, "Lauren, what are you FUCK!" she screamed as Lauren quickly entered her with two fingers. The blonde chuckled and whispered into her ear "you need to be quiet Bo, we don't want everyone to know what we are doing in here do we?"
Bo shook her head, it was all she had the mental capacity to do anyway. Biting her cheek so as not to moan out loud, she started to thrust her hips in time with Lauren's fingers. She was already so close to the edge – it was incredible how well Lauren already knew her body and how talented her fingers were. Not to mention the fact that just being around Lauren had her ready to go at any time.
"You feel so good on my fingers Bo. So wet and tight. I can't wait for you to come so I can lick them clean."
"Oh god Lauren, oh god. I'm so close. Fuck." Bo moaned as she closed her eyes and rested her head back against the wall, the pleasure of feeling Lauren move so intimately inside of her nearly indescribable.
"That's it Bo, can you look at me? I want you to look at me when you come."
Bo's eyes shot up to meet Lauren's darkened chocolate ones. She could see the lust and the desire and the love? Before she even had a chance to contemplate anything else, she felt her orgasm start to rip through her. As soon as she opened her mouth to scream, it was covered by Lauren's. After a second she pulled away just enough so she could whisper "feed" to her. And Bo didn't need to be told twice, her succubus took over and started to feed from the blonde, the pleasure brought on from the chi magnifying her orgasm and sending hurtling into oblivion.
Bo wasn't sure how long it took to regain her senses, but when she finally opened her eyes she found herself still pinned to the wall being held up by one of the Morrigan's strong arms. Her other one was just pulling her hand away from her mouth, lips smacking as she just finished cleaning them off. Her eyes sparkling with delight, she whispered "delicious" as she eased herself back from Bo.
Bo's eyes flashed blue as she felt her libido spiked again. God this woman drove her crazy. If they could ever get a week alone they might break the world record for most orgasms she thought.
Looking down, Lauren lifted up the hem of Bo's tank to see the stab wound was completely gone and all that remained was her perfect skin. Smiling, she lowered the hem and leaned in to give Bo a gentle kiss.
"I am going to leave you to get cleaned up. We can talk more about this later, okay?" she spoke softly, giving Bo a soft kiss as she started to back away.
Bo could only nod as she watched Lauren walk out of the restroom to rejoin the group. I think Lauren just broke me thought as she moved over to the sink to do as Lauren had said.
After a quick freshening up, she left the bathroom feeling a thousand times better than when she had entered. Moving back into the Dal, she saw that everyone was getting ready to restart their conversation, so she made her way to the open chair next to Lauren. Leaning over, she gave her a kiss on the cheek and smiled when honey brown eyes sparkled back at her, asking if she was feeling better.
Her response interrupted by the sound of someone loudly clearing their throat, Bo looked back to see Dyson glaring at them. Rolling her eyes, she watched as Trick and the wolf settled at the table. Not wanting Dyson to have the last word, she gave Lauren another soft kiss on her cheek before settling back in her chair and returning Dyson's death glare. She really was going to have to give him some sort of beat-down because this was getting out of hand.
"Alright everyone" Trick spoke. "I hope you all had a good rest and some time to digest what we discussed last night. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to where we go from here?" he asked, looking around the table as he finished speaking.
Bo shook her head and watched curiously as Lauren was staring at Lachlan who suddenly looked very nervous. After a few seconds, he cleared his throat and answered "I do. I have something to share that may, with some assistance, help the cause."
Trick looked on hopefully. "Please share Ash."
Lachlan looked slightly uncomfortable as he paused before replying. "I'm a Naga."
Bo watched as Trick looked on in shock and even Dyson seemed surprised. Interestingly, Lauren did not seem impacted by this news and Bo wondered if she had known all along and that was why she was given him such odd looks yesterday. Having been the Light fae's doctor, she knew she had to know a lot of their secrets.
Remembering the conversation from yesterday, Bo didn't want to sound like an idiot, but she wanted to be sure she was recalling it correctly. "Isn't that the fae we spoke about yesterday that was extinct? The only thing that was known to kill one of the Garuda's?"
Lachlan nodded. "You are correct Bo. My family has been around since the time of the Garuda's, and we have a proud history of defeating them. Unfortunately, I am the last of my line and I am severely weakened from having fought a Garuda during the Fae Wars. In our full fae form, we have three venom-filled heads, which combine to kill the monsters. But I lost two of my heads in battle, and don't have enough venom left to kill the Garuda. Fortunately, the Morrigan may have a solution."
Lauren nodded as she continued the Ash's line of thinking. "Since Lachlan only has one third of his venom, and as far as we know only a full dosage can kill a Garuda, we will need to synthesize some in a lab, which I believe I can do using his as the origin."
Trick rubbed his head pensively, and everyone waited to hear his thoughts. Finally, after what seemed like an hour of silence, he gave a tentative nod. "I think that could work. How soon do you think you could prepare the venom?"
Lauren shrugged. "Once I figure out how to extract the venom I will need to analyze its DNA structure and break it down to a molecular level. Depending on the chromosome density and complexity of determining a suitable binding solution and delivery mechanism, it could take a few days or a week or more. I honestly can't say until I have a chance to study the venom."
Trick nodded. "Ok, well this seems like our only option right now, so unless someone objects we should move forward with this plan."
Trick looked around the room and everyone was nodding, so he dismissed everyone and got up to go prepare the bar for opening. Lauren made plans with Lachlan for him to come to the Dark fae labs tomorrow to have his venom extracted, while Bo and Kenzi made their way to the bar for a drink.
Pulling herself up onto the stool, the goth couldn't resist teasing her friend. "I saw your eyes flash blue there when the Doc was geeking out about DNA and chromosomes." Bu blushed. "I can't help it Kenzi, I think it's sexy when she geeks out."
Kenzi laughed as she pulled a pint over to herself. "Whipped!"
"Who is talking about whips?" Dyson chuckled as he pulled up on the stool next to Bo.
Bo rolled her eyes, she was a succubus and always up for an innuendo, but for some reason it coming out of Dyson's mouth was irritating. "No one, just talking about the plans for tomorrow and dealing with this Garuda thing."
"I see. So since the plans all involve the Morrigan and Ash, are you free for dinner tonight? I feel like I haven't seen you in forever Bo and I miss you."
Bo couldn't help but snort in fake amusement. "Dyson, you haven't seen me because you have been acting like a possessive dick."
"Possessive? Bo, you are my mate, I have a right to – "
At the sound of the breaking glass, three heads turned to see what had caused the noise, seeing Lauren standing behind them a look of shock and heartbreak on her face. At first Bo couldn't figure out what had freaked her lover out, but then quickly replaying her conversation with Dyson in her head, she knew what the blonde must think. "Lauren – it's not what you think – we –"
Lauren shook her head, willing the tears not to fall. Holding her hand out to stop Bo from speaking she was barely about to force a sound out of her throat. "I'm sorry Bo, I can't, I just….can't" was all she got out before turning on her heel and running for the exit.
Bo was stunned for two seconds before she realized she needed to move if she had any chance of getting Lauren to listen to her and allay her fears. She knew the doctor hated Dyson, though she still didn't understand why, aside from the fact that he was probably an arrogant prick to her while she was with the Light fae. She couldn't let Lauren think she was with Dyson and she hated his whole 'I'm your mate' crap that he kept pulling and now that it hurt Lauren, she needed to deal with her and then set him straight once and for all. Jumping off her stool in pursuit of the blonde, she was able to catch up to her just inside the backdoor of the Dal. "Lauren wait, let me explain, please, it's not what you think."
No realizing Dyson had followed her, her heart dropped to her stomach when she heard him speak. "It IS exactly what you think it is," Dyson sneered. "My wolf has mated with Bo, she is mine."
