It was a normal, sunny day in Paris, France. Marinette was in her room sewing when the news came on.

"In today's news, a masked maniac is going around sucking juices out of fruits, vegetables, and other plants while proclaiming himself as 'The Aphid'."

Marrinette watched as the green cladded man went around from food stall to food stall sucking juices out of various plant type foods with a straw.

"Marrinette, we should go and stop him!" said Tikki.

"Do we have to? He's not really causing any harm to anyone; he's really just more of a nuisance than anything."

"But it's your duty as a Miraculous wielder to protect mankind from anyone who's been akumatized."

Marrinette sighed.

"Okay then. Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette magically turned into Ladybug and started heading out to the farmer's market where the Aphid was causing trouble.

"I am the Aphid!" he shouted as he sucked on a cabbage till it wilted dry.

Suddenly, Chat Noir showed up.

"Oh Chat Noir, you didn't have to come." said Ladybug.

"Only more reason to be with you, Milady."

Chat Noir then watched as the Aphid kept sucking, going from cart to cart.

"Oh wow. Even Pigeonman was more of a threat than this guy." said Chat Noir.

"I am the Aphid! I poop sugar water!"

"That's disgusting." said Ladybug.

"I am the Aphid! My babies are born pregnant with even more babies!"

"Well you should also know that my name is Ladybug and ladybugs eat aphids."

"Nuh-uh."

"Yuh-huh. In fact, you should probably be afraid of me right now since I'm going to eat you up right now."

Ladybug through her yo-yo into the air.

"Lucky Charm!"

The yo-yo magically turned into bug spray.

"Bug spray? Seriously?" said Ladybug, unenthused.

"Well you want me to do something?" asked Chat Noir.

Ladybug sighed.

"Okay, you see that cart of cantaloupes next to the Aphid?"

"Yeah"

"I want you to destroy the cart."

"You got it, Milady."

"Cataclysm!"

Chat Noir used his claws to destroy the cart as the cantaloupes fell on top of the Aphid. Ladybug then sprayed the Aphid in the face as his akumatized item (the straw) fell to the ground.

"Time to de-evilize." said Ladybug as she used her yo-yo to release the butterfly.

"Bye-bye little butter-whatever."

Ladybug then used her Miraculous Ladybugs to return everything normal.

Meanwhile in a tower not far, Hawkmoth cringed.

"DAH! The Aphid?! What was I thinking! I knew I should've used Assassin Bug instead!"
