Not anymore... Its my birthday on sunday!

Are you guys allergic to reviewing or something?:(

The cab ride to school turned into a great funny event, Clary and Jace sharing fun stories, Getting stuck in traffic, being late for school... Maybe the later wasnt that fun, but they had plenty to learn about each other. Clary learned that Jace had three siblings, Alec who was the same age as Jace, Isabelle who was Clary's age. And Little max who was about to turn Eleven and a half. Jace Learned that Clary lived with her mother, but has a Brother: Johnathan, A father: Valentine(Wich Jace Laughed at and asked her what kind of name Valentine is) that Clary had never met. But Johnathan was coming to live with them soon, Valentine was an unfit father to take care of a seventeen year old.

The Cab stopped at York mountain. And Clary pulled out her twenty dollars that her mother had given her, but Jace took out his wallet and pulled out the same amount.

Clary huffed at him, "I'm paying."

He smiled, "Wrong again Princess. A gentleman always pays."

"Does a gentleman steal Other people's Cab's?"

"Yes, of course we do." He pulled over his hood and picked up his bag. "Come Princess." Jace handed the twenty to the cabbie and raced off the school trying to avoid the rain. Clary shook her head, grabbed her things and ran off behind him.

By the time Clary and Jace had gotten into the school Her feet had splashed in what felt like Fifty Million Thousand puddles but in reality was only six. As they walked in, Clary tied her hair up in a large bun and walked with Jace until he told her:

"I'll see you in a bit, gotta get my schedule." He said to her, pausing right behind her. Clary was turning around to see what had stopped him when she felt her hair fall down on her shoulders, and saw Jace running off, hair band in hand. "Your Hair looks better down Princess!"

She shook her head and tucked a curling lock of red hair behind an ear and headed to her locker. They hadn't been too late, people were still arriving, classes hadn't started yet, So Clary wasnt rushing things. As she saw her locker up ahead, someone came barreling into her back, She looked back and saw a smiling dark-eyed figure.

Simon. She smiled her best friend, he had been since who could remember. "Hello Simon" She said returning the hug and ruffling his brown hair, continuing her way to her locker. "Whats up?"

Simon walked behind her, "The sky, the roof... Not you," He joked. Clary blushed. She knew she was short, but everyone else seemed so tall. At least being short gave her some difference between all the other people at the school. it didn't even make her harder to see in a crowd, She was one of the only Girls with Red hair in the school, and with freckles all over... Bright Green eyes. basically Clary was a rare find at York mountain. Very Rare.

"Yeah, Yeah I know im short" She got to her locker and opened it, stowing her rain jacket inside and grabbing some books. she closed it and turned to Simon, waiting for him to say something.

"Whats your first Class?" He asked her, "I Have Math with Mr. Lapethorne, Then P.E." Simon absent-mindedly fiddled with his back pack strap.

Clary pulled her schedule out of her bag, "We have the same first class but I don't have P.E. afterwords, I have Language arts," The first period bell rang and most people began to fill out quickly, Clary and Simon headed for the class room down the hall.

Simon paused a question forming in his mind it seemed, "Of all the teachers who do you think is most likely to be a murderer? I Personally think Mr. Morgenstern but what about you?"

Clary continued walking but raised her eyebrows, "Thats a very random question Simon. I think if i had to choose it would be the class we are heading for right now. this very moment"

Simon nodded, "I guess that could be possible, who do you think he's murdered?"

Clary shook her head. "Simon I think he murdered that Mr. Hodge" Mr. Hodge Who everyone called 'Hodge' had been killed mysteriously a year ago. It was quite strange

Mr. Lapethorne could be a Murderer for all any of the students knew.

He looked slightly like one.

As much as a Fifty Three year old man could look like one.

Actually he didn't look like a murderer at all. He had Kind Blue eyes, with deep laugh and smile marks around them. Graying black hair with soft features, and a look of genual happiness whenever he did something. He looked more like a Grandpa more than murderer. He even made everyone laugh, called the whole class Lumpburgers when they didn't finish their home work. Come to think of it, He was their best teacher.

But he was not happy that Clary Fray and Simon Lewis were late for his class. They had been discussing things about murders and lost track of the time, when they realised they were late, there was a great deal of swearing involved.

"Now why were you two lumpburgers late? Spending some alone time, maybe? being Teenagers and enjoying a realistic life? if so please tell me what the square root of sixty-two is and write it on the board so you can learn what you have missed by yourself,"

"Traffic was bad. And we took a cab." Clary Said more like discussing who you might have murdered.

He sighed smiling, "It's the first day, I'll let you off easy. But next time I wont be so nice-"

The teacher was interupted by a loud knocking on the door, which was pounding in the rhythem of the song: Radioactive Family by Green day. Clary nudged Simon and they both took a seat near the back of class, while Mr. Lapethorne wasnt looking. He shook his head and announced "What is it with teenagers these days?" He opened the door and was a bit startled looking at the person, "Im sorry young man I think you have the wrong class."

The person answered in a voice that Clary recognized. It was Jace. "Oh, I do. I just enrolled," There was a rustling noise and Jace spoke agian, " Im sorry for being late but as you should have seen by now, this is my class."

A couple people around the room sniggered. Jace said it like he was talking to a three year old that didnt understand something, Rather than talking to a grown man.

Mr. Lapethorne stepped out of the doorway and Jace stepped inside, wearing his usual cocksure smile with his just slightly crooked teeth. The sniggers dissapered and was raplaced by a deadly quiet room and open mouth stares from the girls, and admiring glances from most of the boys.

Mr. Lapethorne cleared his throat and all attention was back on him. "We have a new student here today, He has just transfered from a different school and i would like you to give him a warm welcome," He paused looking at the Class expectanly, They hastily clapped then became quiet again, "Please intruduce youself young man,"

Jace leaned against the chalk board and stuck a hand in the pocket of his jeans, Gold eyes glinting. "Im Jace Herondale. Im seventeen years old. I had a touch of rebel last year and now I'm here. My freind Issac recomended this School.*" Jace Turned to Mr Lapethrone. "Whats your name?"

Mr. Lapethorne looked flustered, "Lapethorne, Mr. Lapethorne."

Jace shook his head. "Your full name.**"

He looked like he was trying to hold back anger, "Glenn" He said with Venom, "And its none of your buisness to know my first name."

There was a slight pause before Jace said something, "Alright Glenn, I dont know my way around the school yet mind if i borrow someone to show me around?" Jace was being a total bugger Clary thought, though she had a wide smile upon her face.

"Then chose someone to show you," He mumbled.

There was a flurry of upraised hands, it seemed everyone wanted to get to know Jace Herondale, the boy who had sass, around the school. Clary herself didnt raise her hand becuase that just wasnt something she did. She looked around and saw she wasnt the only person who hadnt rasied her hand. Simon had kept his hand down, looking quite glum. He caught her eye and made a gesture to Jace as if to say:

Look at this ass, strolling around like he owns the place, such a big flirt. Asshole.

Clary frowned and looked away, Jace was alright once you got to know him better. Speak of the devil, Jace turned and caught her eye and smiled cheekily. Clary just sat there hoping not to be picked, sinking lower in to her chair.

But that Just made Jace Smile bigger. He turned to Mr. Lapethorne and mumbeled in his ear and pointed to Clary. There was a WOOSH as heads swiveld to look at Clary. She felt her face burn and Simon hissed behind her saying:

"Clary! No hes a fake dont let him Clary!"

"How about... Clary Fray?" Jace asked some what innocently.

"You heard Him Clarissa, take the boy around the school." She sighed getting up "Sure thing," But before she left she turned around and waved a good-bye to Simon, who looked like he had just swallowed a large frog.

Clary and Jace left the room.

"Damn It Jace, I was Just getting Comfy."
