"NAAATSSUUUUU! SLOW DOWN!" Lucy screamed as she flew through the air, with Happy flying close behind. After more shouting Natsu reluctantly complied, unfortunately for Lucy, who slammed into him from behind. She quickly recovered, however, and smacked him upside the head. "You didn't even close my apartment door! Jeez.. Why are you so excited?" She huffed and Natsu grinned in reply. he squeezed the hand he was still holding as he began to quickly walk the rest of the way to the guild, tugging Lucy along. She gave in to her friends enthusiasm and smiled as well, squeezing Natsu's hand back in return.

Almost as soon as he barged through the large doors of Fairy Tail, was Natsu sat behind a plate full of charred meats. He released Lucy who was welcomed back by everyone and immediately swept away by some of her guild mates to chat. She wanted to let everyone know about her plans to buy back her old home, but before she had the chance, fairy tail was in full party mode! 'Guess I'll wait to tell them tomorrow...' Lucy thought with a sweat drop, not wanting to interrupt everyone having a good time. After a while, even she joined in on some of the craziness her guild mates took part in. It's okay to let loose every once in a while, she told herself before downing some mysterious beverage that was shoved into her hands.

The partying lasted well into the night, as usual, and Lucy, who was a little bit tipsy, and whose face was slightly flushed from alcohol, noticed Natsu leaving the guild much earlier than he would usually stay, which was often till the next morning. She caught up to him outside, "Natsuuu...!" She crooned out to him, still under the party's affect. He turned and made a bit of a digusted face at his name being said like that. "You're drunk." He stated as he watched her wobble up to him. "Am not!" She loudly responded, way more offended than she shouldve been.

Lucy felt like something was missing in this scene, but she couldn't quite put her finger on, and she started making all sorts of odd thinking expressions, as Natsu just watched her in amusement, it's not every day you get to see a drunk Lucy. 'Though there was that one time...' he recalled, cringing at the memory of that crazy night. "Ah! Where's Happy?!" Lucy exclaimed, finally realizing what was missing. "Oh, he left with Wendy and Charle a while ago." He said as he headed towards his house, but stopped short and turned to stare at Lucy. He looked a bit anxious, maybe even worried, as he seemed to ponder something. Lucy just blinked back at him, her face still red and her eyes glossed over, with no real impressive thoughts going through her mind. "Lucy. C'mon, I'll walk you back to your apartment." He said after some thought, gesturing for her to follow him, which she did happily, skipping up beside him "Aye!"

hope you liked it! This story is gonna be a bit longer than my other ones. I actually totally changed this chapter from what it was originally and added in brand new content. I made it so i could fit in this conversation I thought of, which you'll get to see in chapter 5! Thank you!
