Harry didn't want to say the word, but yes, yes he is.

Harry Potter is high. There was no other word for it (if there was, he can't really find out what word it is). He felt as through he was floating, soaring through the castle (although he was walking) up to flying candles. He ignores the worried looks Hermione and Ron gave him.

He sees Ginny waving out to them."C'mon you guys let's sit here"

Harry looked at the faculty table and frowned. "Hey, where's Hagrid?"

"I don't know, though maybe he's doing something for the order"Ron whispered. Ginny and Hermione shot him a glance.

"Not too loud" Hermione scolded. McGonagle entered with first years trailing behind her.

Ron winced."Sorry"

"Were we that small before?" Harry said as he watched them walked upfront.

"You were shorter then than them" Ron said. Harry glared at him.

Ginny snickered "You still are smallest"

"shhhh!"Hermione said "the sorting hat is about to sing!"

"Legends invented our future you see,
For all it cost is to listen by heart
some take it seriously while some may not
but the lesson is no truer than reality parts,
There once was two bestfriends
A king and a Warlock, they were,
By magic they drifted away
but by time together they came
A great Kingdom was made by them

but secrets lie in the dark

The day came when they have to part
a Warlock with a broken heart

He came to those by four who made me
without the king ruled the land
side by side they used to be
dead is a tragedy
yet they lived again when needed best"

"Well that's odd" Harry said as the applause went down. Professor McGonagle started the sorting.

"Odd?"Hermione echoed "I think it was trying to tell us something.."

"Isn't it always trying to tell us something?" Ginny said nodding along with her.

"I wonder which legend it's talking about" Hermione frowned. "and why now?"

"Dad mentioned something about a Ministry uproar." Ron says, leaning forward closer to them.

"What'd he say?"Harry asked, looking curios.

"He said that another prophecy came up in the Department of Mysteries." said Ron, "Something about an arthuris? arthtis?"

"Arthurian!"Hermione gasped, making a few of their Home mates look at them. Harry glared at response

Ginny's eyes widened. "Oh I know that! It's one of the stories mum used to tell me at night, when the time of Europe is at its most distraught, the Once and Future King, King Arthur , and His mentor Merlin will rise again."

"Like what?... Living back from dead?"Harry said brow furrowed

"Hem-hem" a woman at the faculty table stood up. Harry thought she looked dreadful, wearing nothing else but pink.

Dumbledore looked taken aback for a moment, then he sat down and looked alertly at who Harry presumed was Professor Umbridge. Other members of staff were not as adept at hiding their surprise. Professor Sprout's eyebrows had disappeared into her flyaway hair and Professor McGonagall's mouth was thin. To Harry's own knowledge, no new teacher had ever interrupted Dumbledore before but of course, this woman obviously did not know how things were done at Hogwarts.

"Thank you, Headmaster," Professor Umbridge simpered, "for those kind words of welcome."

Her voice was high-pitched, breathy and little-girlish and, it made you feel very uncomfortable and you felt a powerful rush of dislike that you could not explain. She gave another little throat-clearing cough ("hem, hem") and continued.

"Well, it is lovely to be back at Hogwarts, I must say!" She smiled, revealing very pointed teeth. "And to see such happy little faces looking up at me!"

Harry glances at Ginny who obviously looked displeased "Who does she think she is?"

Umbridge clears her throat once more before continuing, "The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital rare gifts with which you were born may come to nothing if not nurtured and honed by careful instruction. The ancient skills unique to the wizarding community must be passed down the generations lest we lose them for ever." She gives a hard look on the students, making Harry start to frown.

" The treasure trove of magical knowledge amassed by our ancestors must be guarded, replenished and polished by those who have been called to the noble profession of teaching. Every headmaster and headmistress of Hogwarts has brought something new to the wheighty task of governing this historic school, and that is as it should be, for without progress there will be stagnation and decay. There again, progress for progress's sake must be discouraged, for our tried and tested traditions often require no tinkering. A balance, then, between old and new, between permanence and change, between tradition and innovation because some changes will be for the better, while others will come, in the fullness of time, to be recognised as errors of judgement. Meanwhile, some old habits will be retained, and rightly so, whereas others, outmoded and outworn, must be abandoned. Let us move forward, then, into a new era of openness, effectiveness and accountability, intent on preserving what ought to be preserved, perfecting what needs to be perfected, and pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited."

"Well that's a mouthful" says Ron

Hermione glared at him, looking pale. "Don't you get it Ronald? The ministry is trying to take control of Hogwarts!" she says in half whisper.

"Take control of Hogwarts?" Harry echoed.

"How are they going to do that?" Ron asked, looking alarmed.

"I don't know" Harry answers. "but I saw her at my case when I went to the Ministry" Harry said

Ginny looked even more surprised. "She was there?"

Harry nodded before stopping he had tingling feeling as the food began to appear, he didn't think he had the appetite to eat.

Harry didn't know what he did to deserve such friends.

"Oi!"He yelled at his three dormmates, sitting up quickly. He scrambled out of his bed, scowling as his hair flopped to his eyes, water dripping down to the floor.

Dean snickered "Get dressed mate! or your going to be late at potions!"

"Aren't you going to eat first?" Neville asked him as he got out of the showers.

Harry shook his head and got his backpack "No I'll be fine, c'mon Ron"

"Can't believe you threw a bucket of water on me." he tells his friend. Ron had the courtesy to look sheepish.

"You wouldn't wake up." He says, laughing slightlly

Harry frowned as they got closer to their rooms. "Are you sure classes haven't started yet?"

"I'm sure" says Ron, looking around the corridor "Maybe they're just early first day after all"

Harry opened the door to the dungeons he released a breath he didn't know he was holding when he saw Snape wasn't there yet

"Hurry" he whipered urgently the duo quickly went to Hermione's side who glared at them

"Where had you two been?"

"Harry's tardy" Ron said

Snape entered, his cloak bellowing behind him. He stopped at the teacher's table he gave them a hard look first with his eyes before turning around to furiously write on the board. "Witt potion"

Ron makes a face. "Troll nails?" he whispers in horror.

Hermione rolls her eyes. "Just do it Ron."

"I bet this tastes disgusting" says Harry, he placed the ingredients down at the table.

His friend snorted. "No kidding, Harry."

"Longbottom!" Sanpe suddenly yells "What Are You Doing?!"

Neville had ended up making a mess already. Water splattered on the floor by the ingredients cupboard, fizzles began to come up creating bubbles.

"Poor Neville" Hermione mutters as Snape hastily drags the boy up. Snape shakes his head.

"Nobody make a mess." He snaps before leaving the room, probably to send Neville to the hospital wing.

"I'm going to get our stuff." says Lavender, Hermione's partner. The girl nods in response.

"How did it manage to have so many steps yet little ingredients?" Ron asked as he added the worms head.

Harry stopped him "You haven't removed the eyes yet, Ron." He said.

"Thanks' mate" his friend muttered, after, he placed the worm in as he same time Harry had put the centipede's crushed head.

"I think were actually getting the hang of this" Harry grinned as the color turned purple.

The door bangs open, Snape walked in with confident and cool strides.

"Uhuh" He said as he passed them "you better not be cheating" He sneers before walking away.

Lavender looked at them with a smile. Ron smiled back

"Still developing that crush?" Harry teased.

"The Potion's almost finished" Ron said ignoring Harry's 'question'. Five minutes later, the potion turned blue.

"YES!" Ron yelled earning the attention of every one, he flushed before mumbling to Harry to give the potion to Snape.

Harry made his way to the table when Malfoy bumped to him making his cauldron fall, Harry stretches out his hand and to his surprise it stopped midair for a second he quickly regained to his senses and took it.

"Watch where you're going Potter" Malfoy sneered looking at His own potion for damage. He had not noticed what happened. Harry gulped before he made his way to Snape.

He didn't notice a pair of Brown eyes narrow at him

"How did you do that?" Hermione asked as soon as they got out. Harry looked at her.

"Do what?"He asked Did she saw what happened to the cauldron?

"You cauldron it was hanging from mid air" Hermione said "without a wand"

"Midair? without a wand? really?"Ron said, now looking at Harry.

" I don't know" He answered truthfully "It just happened..." he continued

Hermione frowned at him, tying her back she asks, "But how?"

Harry gave her a look.

"I don't know" He repeats, sounding exasperated. "If I did, then I would've told you."

The girl winced. "Sorry," she says "It's just that I hear wandless magic is very advance. I was shocked when I saw you were able to do it."

"It's Harry." Ron shrugs, "I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped a dragon-oh wait."

Harry snorts, though he did give his friend a smile.

Hermione, however, hits him with a book, blushing. "Shut up, Ronald."
