Wow.. I'm finally back on after months. Guys, I am really sorry! I got super busy with school work and then I went on vacation and stuff. I'm gonna try and promise that I'll update more often, now that it's summer. I'll stop wasting your time and continue now!
(SAM'S POV)
The snake started tightening around little Timmy's body. Timmy was totally oblivious to what was happening and kept laughing.
"Someone do something!" Paulina cried out loud. She turned around and buried her face in Dash's shoulder. Tucker found a rock and was about to throw it at the snake, but suddenly the snake start licking Timmy's face.
What just happened?
It was hissing gently and seemed to be friendly towards Timmy. Timmy playfully hugged the snake and then it slithered off into the woods. Timmy stood up and waddled over to me.
"Dandy!" He exclaimed. Danny picked him up and looked at him curiously.
I laughed. "I think he means Danny." I ruffled the kid's hair. The seven of us went off into the woods and did the same old thing that we did every day: find water, find food, find wood, and bring all of that back to the main campsite.
After returning to campsite, I sat down exhausted. I drank some water and leaned against a tree. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the ocean.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Timmy holding up his jacket.
"Bath time!" He exclaimed. I gave him a strange look and shook my head.
"Not right now, Timmy. I'm tired. Maybe tomorrow." I said, closing my eyes again.
I heard a small sniffle before—
"WAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"Alright, alright! Let's go give you your stupid bath." I mumbled, angry that I wasn't able to relax.
Wait, how the heck was I supposed to give him a bath? We had no bathtubs or soap or shampoo. Jeez, I would be the worst parent ever. I stood up and grabbed Timmy by the hand. I started walking off when a voice called me.
"Sam, where are you going?" Danny asked, eyeing me curiously.
"Timmy wants a bath and will scream his head off until I give him one." I replied, rolling my eyes.
"Wait, don't go alone. I'll come." Danny got up and walked on the other side of Timmy.
"Up!" Timmy exclaimed, looking at Danny. Timmy was acting like we wI couldn't really understand what his intentions were. Timmy held his hand up and Danny slowly grabbed it, still confused. I had one hand, and Danny had the other. Timmy was between us.
We found a small stream and put Timmy in the water.
"There. There's your bath. Just come out in 5 minutes." I told him.
"Wash!" Timmy exclaimed.
"What?" Danny asked, clearly puzzled.
"He said wash, Danny. So wash him." I told him, smirking slightly.
"Nah, you do it." He said.
"Fine, we both do it. Grab a big leaf." I instructed. Danny rolled his eyes at my tone and picked a big green leaf.
"I have no idea how you're supposed to bathe a three year old in the middle of a deserted island, so don't judge me." I said to Danny. He smirked and watched me.
I dipped the leaf in water and started "scrubbing" Timmy's arms and upper body with the leaf. He burst out laughing and started squirming.
"S-Stoppp! That tickles—" Timmy erupted in laughter and spit a mouthful of water at me.
"Timmy!" I yelled in anger. I stood up mumbling in anger.
"Danny, you wash him. I'm going to change!" I commanded. I stormed off before he could say another word.
(DANNY'S POV)
Wow, she sure gets mad easily. She should've known that a little boy can't exactly control himself.
I picked up the leaf that Sam had dropped when storming off. I gently scrubbed Timmy's back and the rest of his body.
"Ducky!" Timmy exclaimed.
"Um… what?" I asked him, confused.
"I want my ducky!"
"Uh… bath time is over now. You can play with your ducky another time. Come out kid." I said calmly, trying not to upset him.
"Okay Dandy!" Timmy climbed out of the water and shook his entire body, getting me wet in the process.
"Great." I mumbled. Timmy smiled brightly and I chuckled to myself. His bright green eyes sparkled and I carried him to the campsite.
(A few hours later)
A fire was ablaze at the center of the camp. Dash was roasting a fish that he proudly caught earlier in the day. Paulina was chewing on some berries and messing with her hair at the same time, trying to fix it. Tucker was leaned against a log eating a banana, staring at the sky with a blank expression. My sister, Jazz, was studying a rock that was on the ground. I smiled a little, thinking of how she always overanalyzes things.
Everybody looked pretty upset, if not depressed. I don't exactly blame them, we don't know about our parents' whereabouts, or if they're even alive. We don't know where we are. Will we even be rescued?
Although I am Danny Phantom, I can't exactly carry six people with me for hundreds of miles. Even ghosts get tired eventually.
Should I tell everyone here that I'm Phantom? Should I tell them that I was the one who saved their lives? What would happen if they were mad at me for not saving everyone else? What if they hated me for betraying everyone else on the plane?
I glanced over at Sam, who was a little further away from the campsite. She was standing near the beach, staring out at the sea. I got up and walked next to her.
I looked at her face and saw nothing. She had a blank expression and showed no emotion.
"You okay, Sam?" I asked.
She didn't answer.
"Do you want to sit by the fire? It's cold here." I said, noticing the goosebumps on her arms and legs.
"I don't need you to console me! I'm fine!" She suddenly snapped. I backed off and walked away. I'm not exactly good with girls, but I can tell when they need their space.
I sat down and leaned against a tree. A cold wind howled through the air, and I shivered. Timmy, who was asleep by the tree next to me, started coughing.
Oh no.
The last thing we all needed was for someone to get sick. I grabbed a spare coat, which happened to belong to Paulina.
"Hey! That doesn't belong to you!" She snarled, in her Hispanic voice.
"Timmy needs it! He's coughing and we don't want him getting sick! Do you want to take care of a sick three year old?" I asked, slightly annoyed at her bossy tone.
She huffed and rolled her eyes. "Just take it."
I grabbed her hot pink coat and wrapped it around Timmy. He snuggled into the coat and mumbled a little in his sleep.
"Daddy…"
Well, that's chapter 5! I'm sorry there wasn't much action in this chapter, but there will be a lot more in the next one! I'll try making the next one longer too.
So what's going on with Timmy? He's acting kind of weird, huh? ;)
Please review! Reviews mean a lot to me. Tell me what you think so far and what you think will happen. NO FLAMES PLEASE! Thanks so much
