Hey guys! I'm back! I know the last chapter wasn't that exciting, but hopefully this one will be better? I hope all of you fluff lovers like this chapter ;)

SAM'S POV:

I watched Timmy in mild amusement as he ate his banana. He shoved about half of it into his mouth and bits of banana were smeared all over his face. I wrinkled my face in slight disgust but I knew that since he was only three years old, it was acceptable. I turned my head and looked over at Dash. That was a real disgusting sight. He smashed open a coconut with a karate chop and quaffed the coconut juice inside of it, the juice dribbling down his chin and neck. He then shoved a huge chunk of coconut in his mouth and chewed it really fast, spitting out the soft brown part. Dash saw me looking and quickly wiped his face. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Tucker.

Tucker was deep in thought as he munched on his berries. He shoved about five in his mouth at a time, but didn't really look like he was enjoying his food. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some electronic device. He flipped it over and started tampering with its wires. Curious, I stood up and walked next to him.

"What are you doing, Tucker?" I asked, watching him pull wires from his device.

"I'm trying to reprogram my PDA into some sort of device that can signal other people who can rescue us. You see, if I cross this red wire over with the yellow one and use my PDA wrench to recalibrate the…" Tucker droned on about his high-tech device.

"Uh.. That's okay. I don't need an explanation. Just keep doing that. Who knows, it might work? I'm ready to leave this stupid island." I mumbled. Tucker nodded and I glanced at Paulina. She was talking to Danny, but her back was faced towards me. I looked at Danny's face and he seemed somewhat irritated. Danny said something to her, and he raised his arms in exasperation. I walked over to the two to see what was going on.

"Paulina, we don't have the time or energy to find avocados for your stupid face mask!" Danny yelled. Face mask? Was she serious?

"Danny, we have to! My skin is going to be spoiled under the stupid sun! It's already starting to dry out and I lost my LXP ultimate face moisturizer and face uplifting cream!" Paulina cried out.

"Paulina, are you freaking serious?" I demanded. I looked at her and she had a scowl on her face.

"We're stranded on a deserted island, no one is coming to help us, we're running low on food and water, we have a little kid to watch, and you're worried about your skin?! We have priorities! We need to survive and try to get rescued! This isn't some island resort, Paulina. We're abandoned. Our parents and everyone else on the plane may be dead. Stop being so shallow and superficial and start helping us out!" I yelled, my fists clenched.

Paulina sneered, and before I knew it, she raised her arm and slapped me across the face.

How dare she.

"Don't talk to me like that, goth freak." Paulina muttered before strutting off.

I was about to run after her and beat the stuffing out of her. She was such a bitch. With my fists tightly clenched, I ran after her, only to be held back by Danny.

"Sam! She's not worth it. Come on, it's her own fault if she doesn't survive." Danny said, trying to calm me down. I swore I had steam coming out of my ears. Danny placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a small smile. My cheek was turning red, and after gently stroking it, he walked me back to the camp. I looked down, trying to hide the blush on my face.

What the hell? Was I seriously blushing? I needed to get my shit together. I looked down to hide it, and I looked up only after Danny walked away to take care of Timmy. I sighed and sat down next to Jazz and rubbed my cheek.

"What happened back there? I heard yelling." Jazz asked, concerned.

"Paulina wanted to go avocado hunting to make a face mask. After all, our survival isn't important, her skin condition is." I muttered sarcastically.

"She's looking for face masks?" Jazz cried out. I nodded numbly.

"She slapped me after I called her out." I pointed to my red burning cheek. Jazz gasped and frowned.

"Wait, I'll be right back." Jazz got up and walked over to one of the backpacks. She pulled out a tube and walked back.

"Danny kind of used to get beat up a lot by this kid named Kwan when he was a kid. I put this cream on him to soothe his pain." He doesn't get beat up anymore, but I still carry it around. Maybe I'm just overprotective." Jazz told me. I raised my eyebrow in confusion.

"You knew Danny before the crash?" I asked.

Jazz laughed slightly. "Duh, I'm his older sister."

"What? Seriously? I was never told this. I thought we were all strangers here! That's so weird, you guys don't look anything alike."

Jazz handed me the cream and I looked at the label.

Ecto-Pain Reliever. Use for external pain. Consult a doctor if you have burned yourself. Apply generous amount on affected area. Takes 30 minutes to have effect on humans. Takes 5 minutes to have effect on gh—

The rest of the words were colored over with a permanent marker. The only two letters that were visible were "g" and part of an "h". I couldn't really tell. It could've been an "r" too. Deciding not to question it, I squeezed some of the cream out and applied it to my burning face. It felt cold against my skin, which was nice since it was burning hot outside. The cream smelled like mint, which was one of my favorite scents. I sighed as the cream soothed my skin.

"Does it feel good?" Jazz asked. I nodded and she smiled and put the cream back in her bag. I saw Paulina walking back and I scowled. Jazz noticed and told me to just ignore her.

I looked at her and she looked somewhat familiar. I felt like I had seen her somewhere before. I stared at her intently, trying to remember. Paulina. Where did I hear that name?

Giving up on trying to remember, I walked over and sat down next to Danny and Timmy.

"Hey." I greeted softly. Danny looked into my eyes and smiled.

"Hey! I see you've calmed down." He said. I smiled and nodded.

"Your sister gave me some minty cream that is supposed to help the pain. Apparently you used to get beat up as a kid." I replied, smirking slightly. Danny shook his head, but suddenly his head shot up.

"Did she give you Ecto Cream?" Danny asked, panicking slightly. I nodded, confused. Danny got up quickly and ran over to his sister.

What was his problem?

DANNY'S POV:

"Jazz, you gave Sam Ecto Cream?" I asked, panicking a little.

"Danny, relax. It can be used on humans too. The label says so. She won't experience any weird ghost effects." Jazz replied calmly.

"Jazz, when does that cream expire?" I asked.

Jazz pulled the tube out of her backpack. She looked at the tube and her eyes widened.

"Uh… July 15, 2007…" Jazz muttered.

"Jazz, that was like seven years ago! What happened if you use expired ghost cream on a human?!" I asked, starting to freak out a little.

"I forgot about the expiration date! I'm sorry, I'm kind of preoccupied with the whole island situation! I'm trying to remember what Mom said about the cream!" Jazz replied thoughtfully.

"Jazz, she said it would give humans the ghost flu. Sam is going to get sick! How long was the cream on her face?" I demanded.

"I don't know, like 25 minutes!" Jazz cried out. We both shot up.

You see, ghost flu is a disease that is like the common flu, but only for ghosts. Ghosts usually recover within a week. If a human catches the ghost flu, it is usually extremely dangerous and sometimes fatal unless you have the antidote. Ghost flu causes a human to turn green. The person usually has a headache 24/7, but it is extremely intolerable. Medicines like Advil and Motrin just make it worse. Humans also start bleeding ectoplasm, which is blood that ghosts have, out of their noses, ears and mouths. It messes up a human's digestive system too. The ectoplasm in the person's system poisons the main internal organs. Once it reaches the brain, the person is usually dead. It takes about two days for the ectoplasm to hit the brain, but once it is inside the body, it cannot be removed unless the person takes the antidote, which is extremely hard to obtain. The antidote consists of a handful of werewolf fur, three drops of ghost fairy blood, and a spoon of peanut butter. I know, it's a random combination. But we don't have any peanut butter on the island, let alone the fairy blood and werewolf.

"Sam!" We both yelled. She looked up, startled. I grabbed her arm and quickly took her to the stream.

"What are you guys doing?!" Sam shouted. I wrapped my arms around her and held her still. Jazz used some leaves and water to scrub her cheek. Sam was squirming in my grip, trying to break free. I only held tighter, not letting her go.

"Sam, that cream will… ruin your skin." I lied, trying to come up with a good excuse.

"Danny, I'm not Paulina. I don't care about my skin condition right now!" Sam yelled.

"No, Sam! You don't understand! It will tear your skin off! It's expired. I'm sorry, I forgot! We need to get it off you before it takes effect." Jazz explained quickly, splashing water over Sam's face and scrubbing hard.

"Ugh, not so hard!" Sam complained. She stopped squirming in my grip, but I still held her tightly. My hands were holding hers against her stomach. Her back was against my stomach and chest. My head was a little higher than her shoulders, and I suddenly had the temptation to kiss her sore, burning cheek.

Jazz finished scrubbing and dropped the leaves. Sam's face was still red, but looked smoother than ever.

"There. You should be okay. The burn from Paulina's slap and my constant rough scrubbing should stop soon. Again, I apologize." Jazz told Sam. Sam nodded and turned her head around and looked at me. I was so relieved that Sam was saved from the ghost flu.

My heart started beating really fast. I had never been this close with a girl before. I know, I'm kind of a loser. I'm sixteen and I've never had a girlfriend. I've kissed one girl in the past, but it was an accident! I accidentally tripped and landed on her, and of course, she beat me up right after.

It was a rather embarrassing situation.

"Uh… Danny? You can let go now." Sam said. My train of thought stopped and I quickly let go.

"Right. Sorry. You okay?" I asked, letting go of her. Sam faced me and smiled.

"Yeah, I am. Thanks for saving my skin from falling off." Sam replied, smiling a little. I never noticed how pretty her smile was. I guess I didn't get to see it much, and this was one of those rare moments.

I should save her skin from "tearing off" more often.

"Yeah, no problem. Let's go back to the camp." I smiled at her and we walked back together.

"You know, I never knew Jazz was your sister." Sam told me. I nodded.

"I guess I forgot to mention it. We were travelling to meet some relatives before the crash." I replied.

"She told me some boy named Kwan used to beat you up." Sam teased. I rolled my eyes.

"Please, that never even happened. I beat him up." I shot back, smirking. Sam rolled her eyes.

"Danny Fenton, you are so cocky." Sam said to me, smiling. There it was again, her beautiful smile. My heart started beating faster and I'm pretty sure I turned a little red.

We reached the camp and I smiled as she walked over to Timmy. I noticed how Timmy's eyes lit up when she started talking to her. It seemed as if Timmy liked Sam the best out of everyone else here, well at least of all the girls here.

I walked over to the two and Timmy suddenly jumped up.

"Dandy!" He cried out, grinning widely. He jumped into my arms.

"Dandy? I think he means Danny." Sam laughed. Of course, seeing Sam laugh was much better than her smile. Her happiness made me feel happy for some reason. What's wrong with me? I've only known her for like three weeks!

I scooped up Timmy in my arms and he started messing up my hair.

"Hey!" I smiled at Timmy, who just laughed. Sam smiled and looked at me.

"He really likes you, huh." Sam said to me. I smirked.

"Of course. Who doesn't? I'm so likeable."

"You are so annoying!" Sam laughed, punching my arm slightly. I grinned.

Maybe I should annoy her more often.
