Hey guys, I'm back with Chapter 11. I'm sorry it's been a few weeks. My parents have been seriously frustrating me and giving me a REALLY HARD TIME about some stuff. Life at my house isn't exactly easy right now :/ I feel somewhat depressed and angry, but instead of punching a wall, I am going to present Chapter 11 to you.
Jazz's POV
Sam and Danny were gone for about an hour. Since Danny revealed his secret, the two seemed to become a lot closer. Knowing Danny, he was probably trying to impress Sam with his "ghost skills".
Chuckling quietly, I walked over to Tucker, who was busy messing with some gadget of his. It looked like he was desperately trying to code something.
"What are you doing?" I asked, sitting beside him.
"I'm trying to make a radio out of my backup PDA. If anyone will rescue is, it'll be through this radio." Tucker explained, focusing his teal eyes back onto the PDA. I heard laughing and I looked up to see Danny and Sam with messy hair and flushed cheeks.
"Oh, he definitely took her flying," I thought, smirking.
"So, what have you two been up to?" I asked them, noticing their cheeks turn even more pink.
"We just went into the woods for a bit." Danny said, avoiding eye contact and smiling slightly.
"Hey, give that back!" I heard a voice yell. I turned my head and saw Dash and Timmy fighting over a bag of candy that survived the plane crash.
"I want chocobites!" Timmy yelled, tears forming in his eyes.
"Dude, they're mine!" Dash exclaimed, pulling the bag away from Timmy. The force caused him to fall on the ground, and Timmy shrieked in anger.
"CHOCOBITES!" Timmy screamed, stomping his feet and crying for the candy.
"Jeez Dash! Just give him the candy, he's a kid!" Sam cried out, snatching the bag.
"Hey! That's mi—"
San socked him in the shoulder, and even though Dash pretended like it didn't hurt, it obviously did.
"Here you go, Timmy. Why don't you share?" Sam said. Timmy happy opened the bag and poured nearly half the candy in his mouth.
"Hey, that's enough!" Danny exclaimed, taking away the bag. Timmy, who's mouth was full of chocobites, found Danny's outburst to be funny. He burst out laughing, and spit-covered chocobites went everywhere.
"Aghhh!" San cried out, knocking off the wet candy from her hair. Danny burst out laughing, and Sam hit his shoulder.
"I'm going to collect more water." I said, with amusement in my eyes. I walked away from the scene, and Tucker caught up to me.
"I'll come with you!" He said, and we went along.
16 hours later
Unknown POV
I got up in the middle of the night and headed towards the woods. I had to act fast, my cover would only last me so long. I was sent on a mission to fix a mistake, and it unfortunately was going a lot more slowly than I thought it would.
I reached the coconut tree and started climbing. When I got to the top of the trunk, I kicked one of the branches and the top of the trunk opened. A narrow pathway that led underground was right below me, but it went straight down for about twenty feet.
"What a convenient way to reach the headquarters," I thought sarcastically. Couldn't he have made it a little bit easier? Since it was narrow, I used my arms and feet to grip the inside walls of the trunk to slowly go down without hurting myself.
It took about ten minutes, but I safely made it. It was rather cold in the headquarters, but that was the least of my problems.
"Are you here?" I called out, hoping my "boss" would show up. A ghost with a purple hood and red eyes appeared in front of me. Yup, that was him.
"Clockwork." I said. I wasn't sure if that really was a greeting.
"How is the mission going? Did you do what was necessary to fix the past?"
"It's taking a little longer than I thought. Hey, can you change me to my real form for now? This disguise form is hard to get around in." I said, trying to light up the mood a little. Clockwork had placed a chip inside me that kept me in the disguised form I needed for the mission. Since he was the only one who could remove it, I was stuck in the other form until I'd see him.
Clockwork waved his time staff and I turned into my true self. I wasn't sure how a time staff could remove a chip, but he probably enchanted it somehow. I sighed in relief. I felt so much more comfortable in my own skin.
"Much better!" I exclaimed. I immediately jumped up and started flying. I turned intangible and flew through the tree and back. When I turned tangible, I bumped into clockwork and met his red eyes.
"You don't have much time. In exactly 60 days, a plane will pass above the island and spot the others. They will be rescued and live their lives as they did before. This cannot happen, because that great mistake will be made in the future and—"
"Yeah, yeah! I know! I'm working on it. I think it's going smoothly, even though it's slow. I mean, they've already done quite a bit. They even—" I was interrupted by Clockwork.
"Yes, I'm aware of what happened earlier today. Good, keep up the work and make sure the mission doesn't fail. Try to make it happen faster. I'll see you in 5 days. Clockwork waved his time staff and I was back to my disguised form.
Great. Now I have to climb all the way up. Along with my real identity went my powers, so flying wasn't an option.
Eventually, I made it back up to the top of the tree. I kicked the same branch again and the trunk closed. I jumped down and hurried back to the camp. Luckily, no one noticed I was missing, so I lay down next to one of the sleeping figures and fell asleep.
The next 60 days were crucial.
Dash's POV
I woke up starving. I was seriously craving a triple cheeseburger with a chocolate shake from the Nasty Burger, but all I had was fruit and a few leftover chocobites that the little brat didn't spit up.
I looked at the hot chick who was sleeping next to me, Paulina. She looked pretty tired, and she even had bags under her eyes as if she got no sleep. God, if I told her that, she'd flip out.
Though, even with the bags under her eyes, she was hot. Her shirt was slightly torn, and her tan flat stomach was showing. Her laced black bra strap was showing at one side of her shirt, and I decided to stare before she could wake up and freak out.
Unfortunately, that didn't last long. My stomach growled so loudly that she woke up, and I got a good smack when she found out I was staring. I heard a soft laugh and saw the red-head girl laughing at me. I rolled my eyes and chugged some water to get rid of my hunger.
Another day of watching the goth and the nerd flirt, and the geeky boy trying to make a radio. And the bratty kid whining about stuff.
Great.
