Hey guys. As promised, it is Thanksgiving Break. Here is Chapter 14.
Unknown POV
I woke up and found the others still asleep. Still full from my meal last night, I smiled slightly and looked around. I had 52 days left to play dumb with everyone. Though it was annoying and the mission's progress was rather slow, it was kind of fun driving people crazy occasionally. I'd never get away with it in my real form. Hell, I'd probably be grounded.
I somehow had to create a "mood", as Clockwork called it. How would I do that exactly? I could lead them into the forest, or the beach. I'd make sure the others weren't around. However, for me, it would be kind of hard to do so.
Sam's POV
I opened my eyes and found myself on the same stupid hellish island. I immediately got up and ignored the cold air that was stinging my skin. Irritated, I grabbed a coconut and began to eat it. Though I was an Ultra-Recyclo Vegetarian, even I was getting sick of fruit and vegetables. I craved the soy burgers from Mickey's Diner, a restaurant near my house. I craved the soy milkshakes and the unhealthy fried foods. I can't believe we still haven't been rescued. Don't people use the plane's black box or something?
"I want a banana!" I heard a high-pitched voice demand. I turned to my left and saw Timmy getting out of his sleeping spot. I smiled slightly and gave him one, opening the peel for him. He grabbed it from my hand and shoved about half of it in his mouth. I made a face in disgust.
"Timmy, chew it slowly!" I exclaimed, laughing slightly. "And take smaller bites! You'll choke."
Timmy said nothing and walked straight over to Danny and bent down next to his ear.
"DANDY!" He yelled, startling Danny. He immediately jumped up onto his feet.
"Timmy? Why did you do that?" Danny cried out, rubbing his ear. I burst out laughing and high-fived Timmy.
"I gotta hand it to you, kid. You're not so bad." I chuckled. Timmy grinned, showing his two missing teeth.
"Ugh. I can't even sleep in on a deserted island with no school." Danny complained. He walked over to me and saw my coconut shell, which I had filled with fresh water. Without asking for permission, he grabbed it and chugged all the water down his throat.
"Asshole! That was my water!" I cried out, quickly covering my mouth. I accidentally swore in front of a three-year old.
"Nice going." Danny smirked. We looked over at Timmy, and he seemed like he was suppressing laughter.
"Whatever." I mumbled, socking Danny in the shoulder.
"Ow!" He cried out, a little too loudly. Dash stirred in his sleep and almost woke up. I certainly didn't want him bitching around this early.
"Tag!" I heard Timmy yell. He suddenly smacked Danny and ran into the forest.
"Timmy!" Danny and I cried out simultaneously. We both ran after him.
'Shit, the kid is pretty damn fast!' I thought. I scanned the area, but there was no sight of him.
"Where the heck did he go?"" Danny wondered out loud.
"AYYYY!" I heard a high-pitched yell ahead in the forest. This damn kid.
"This way!" I exclaimed, grabbing Danny's hand and running towards Timmy. "TIMMY WHERE ARE YOU?" Danny yelled.
I heard no response.
Danny and I swiftly walked through the forest but couldn't find him. I felt like we were going in circles. We ended up in a part of the forest that we had never visited. Shit. Now we were lost.
"TIMMY!" I yelled.
"Mommy!" I heard a voice yell, much to my relief. I followed the voice and ran closer to it, still not letting go of Danny's hand. I suddenly stopped when I realized what was surrounding me.
A beautiful lake with sparkling water was ahead of me. There was, surprisingly, sand around the lake. Several palm trees surrounded the lake and there were lily pads in the water. The sun was shining brightly on the water, creating a beautiful scene.
"Wow," I heard Danny whisper. I looked ahead and saw Timmy standing by the lake grinning.
"You are a very naughty boy, Timmy!" I scolded as I walked up to him. Timmy only laughed.
"Pretty water!" He exclaimed. I couldn't help but smile. I can't believe he just found this place. Or maybe he saw it before?
"Swim!" Timmy demanded. Without any warning, he jumped into the lake, splashing me and Danny.
"Hey!" Danny cried out. "Can he even swim? He's THREE!"
Timmy started to splash in the water and was sinking fast. Shit. THE KID COULDN'T SWIM. Smart move, Timmy. But then again, what would you expect from a three-year old?
I quickly jumped into the water and grabbed Timmy by the waist. Luckily, the water was shallow enough so that I could stand. I held Timmy up and Danny pulled him out of the water.
"Timmy, don't do that again!" Danny scolded.
"Okay Dandy."
"It's Danny. Can you say Danny?"
"Dandy!"
Danny sighed and gave up. "Do you know her name?" Danny asked, pointing to me.
Timmy looked like he had to think about it.
"Sammy the Super Mommy!" He exclaimed. Danny burst out laughing while I just rolled my eyes. I pulled myself out of the water, shivering. Though the sun was out, the air was very cold.
Great. Now I'm going to get sick. Another wonderful thing to add to my "island adventure".
"It's Sam." I corrected.
"Sammy."
Oh well. It's better than before.
"We need to get back. The others, especially Jazz, probably woke up and are wondering where we are." Danny stated. I nodded quietly.
We started walking back. Timmy was walking ahead of us and Danny and I were just behind. Because I had to get into the water to save Timmy, I was pretty much freezing my butt off.
"He's pretty mischevious for a three-year old." Danny commented.
"Y-Yeah." I replied, shivering.
"Are you cold?" Danny asked.
"No shit!" I snapped.
"Woah! Calm yourself." Danny held up two hands, smiling. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around myself. Goosebumps were covering every inch of my body. My teeth were chattering constantly.
Suddenly, I felt two hands pick me up. One was behind my legs and one was on my back. I was being held bridal style. I looked up curiously and saw Danny staring at me. In his eyes, I saw a bit of concern.
"You'll get hypothermia if you don't warm up. It's like 30 degrees. I'll carry you back to the camp. Just, huddle up?" He said with a straight face.
I was too cold to even argue. His body warmth was already making me feel better. I learned my head against his chest and brought my arms together. If I didn't move, my teeth would stop chattering and I wouldn't have goosebumps. I looked ahead and saw Timmy staring at us.
"What are you doing?" He asked, confused. His face was scrunched up.
"Sammy is cold because she went in the water." Danny explained.
"Wait, won't he get sick too? He was in the water!" I exclaimed, trying to get out of Danny's arms. I ignored Danny's "Sammy" comment.
"Sam, stop! He's perfectly fine! I made him take off his wet clothes and he's wearing my sweatshirt." Danny didn't let me get out of his arms, despite my squirming.
I looked at Timmy again and noticed he was wearing Danny's sweatshirt, which was really big on him. It looked like he was wearing a dress. He also looked dry. He was carrying his old wet clothes in his arms.
"Thank god." I muttered, smiling. I leaned back into Danny's warm chest and closed my eyes.
Once we were back at camp, Danny set me down. I opened my eyes and cold air immediately stung my skin again. I grabbed one of Jazz's dry clothes and went behind a tree to change.
I took off my shirt and tried to fix Jazz's hoodie, since it was inside-out. Suddenly, I heard a rustle in the bushes. Quickly pulling on the hoodie, I went over to the bushes and saw Dash hiding behind them.
"You PERVERT! Were you watching me change?" I demanded.
"I, uh, no! That stupid Tucker kid brought me here! Or was it Tommy, or, uh Dan…?" Dash stuttered. I glowered at him and balled my hands into fists. Without thinking, I reached up and punched the sicko in the face. Startled, Dash fell back a few steps
Oh, that will bring a nasty black eye.
"Don't you dare come near me, you creep!" I yelled. I stormed away, leaving the pervert behind.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked when he saw me storming back to the camp.
"Dash tried watching me change my clothes, so I socked him in the face." I explained.
"He what?" Danny demanded, looking angry.
"It's fine. I still had my undergarments on, thankfully." I said. Suddenly, Danny's eyes were glowering green instead of the normal soft blue.
"Danny? Uh, your eyes." I pointed. Danny took a deep breath and soon he was back to normal.
"How did that happen?" I asked.
"I guess it happens when I'm mad or frustrated." Danny shrugged. He came a step closer.
"You're okay though, right?" He asked, bringing a hand to my shoulder.
I smiled at him. "I'm fine."
"Ready to kill another day?"
"Definitely not. But do we have a choice?"
Danny chucked. "Good point."
"Hey, maybe if it gets warmer we can go for a swim in that lake we found earlier today." I suggested.
"Not a bad idea. I'm down." Danny smiled at me.
Out of nowhere, I stepped forward and kissed his cheek.
Why the hell did I just do that? Butterflies fluttered in my stomach and I quickly turned red.
"Thanks for, uh, making sure I didn't get hypothermia. I, uh, sorry for doing that. Um…" I stuttered stupidly.
'God, I am SUCH AN IDIOT!' I yelled at myself in my head. I was afraid to even look at Danny's face.
To my surprise, he pulled my chin up and made me look in his eyes.
"It was nothing." He replied, smiling at me. I wasn't sure if he was blushing or it was the cold. I smiled slightly and ran off to talk to Jazz.
Jeez, I'm losing my shit.
Unknown POV:
As I watched Sam and Danny, I couldn't help but feel slightly accomplished. I grinned when I saw Sam kiss Danny's cheek. I was surprised though. I thought Danny would make the first move. Oh well, the plan was back in motion and it is actually making progress.
Sam and Danny have to fall in love.
Okay guys, there's Chapter 14! Well, I think it's becoming a little more obvious who the unknown person is. But hey, you never really know. I could EASILY screw with all of your heads. *laughs evilly*
Also, I was just wondering if I should continue this story or not. I'm not sure if you guys are still interested in it, because I seem to be getting less feedback. I am considering putting it on hiatus or stopping, but hey, it's ALL UP TO YOU GUYS! Maybe a review or two will convince me to keep going? I want to know if people still want to actually read this story.
More reviews = Faster update
