Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while since I've been on. The college admission process is pretty time consuming. But it's all over. AND I'M GOING TO COLLEGE BABY. Now it's summer and I'm super excited! Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REVIEWING AHHHHH I NEVER THOUGHT I'D HAVE 118 REVIEWS (AND COUNTING!) YOU GUYS MOTIVATE ME TO WRITE MORE!

I also have a question for you guys! I read a FanFiction a long time ago about Danny and Sam meeting in an orphanage. They became best friends and fell in love and stuff. It was a pretty long story with tons of drama. If any of you know which story this is, please message me or leave it in the reviews! Whoever brings me the correct title will get a shout out! Or maybe a sneak peek at the next chapter before everyone else. Hehe.

Onto the story!

Sam's POV

I've been counting the number of days we were stuck here. It's been a long time, and we still haven't been rescued. Weeks have passed and no one came for us.

I'm starting to think that we'll be stuck here forever.

Sighing, I got up and walked over to Tucker.

"Hey, do you have a calendar app on your old PDA or something? Like does it work? I want to know today's date." I asked him. Tucker raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you want to know the date? It's just day after day here." Tucker responded.

"Do you have what I need or not?" I demanded, getting impatient. Tucker rolled his eyes.

"Yeah yeah. Here." Tucker reached into his bag and took out a strange looking device. He handed it to me and I sat down.

"Let's see… we crashed on April 4… We've been here for 12 weeks and 3 days… That means today is June 30…" I gasped slightly when I realized the date. I counted the days again and again. June 30.

Today is my 17th birthday.

I was spending my birthday stranded on a deserted island with people I barely knew. I wanted to spend this day with Valerie and eat cupcakes with black gummy bats. I wanted to go to the bookstore and read the dark gothic romance novels that I know Valerie would've gotten for me. I wanted to get annoyed at my mom for trying to make me wear a pink frilly dress and have a party.

I sighed and put my head between my arms. Chances of rescue were getting more hopeless by the day. I knew that after 87 days stuck here, there was no way that a plane would see us. Or that someone would track the plane's black box. I stared at the sand that was between my toes. I dug my foot inside the same grains. Suddenly feeling angry, I kicked up all the sand. A cloud of dust and sand formed in the air. Just in my luck, it got in my eyes and mouth.

"Ugh!" I exclaimed. I started coughing hard and my eyes became really watery.

"Fuck this sand!" I yelled. I spit out sand from my mouth and got up from my spot. I stormed away and went to the water bottle supply.

Opening one of the plastic bottles, I lifted it up and poured the cold liquid into my mouth. It felt nice actually. I swished the water around my mouth and spit out any extra sand and dust. My eyes stopped burning.

"What's up, Sam?" I heard a voice ask behind me. I turned around and saw Tucker, who wanted water as well. I handed him the bottle.

"Well, I used your PDA to find today's date. It's June 30th. Weirdly enough, it's my 17th birthday today." I told him smiling a little. Tucker looked at me in surprise.

"Well, Happy Birthday Sam! I'm sorry you have to spend it stuck on this island. Man, I can't believe we've been here for months now." Tucker responded, returning my smile.

"Well, I guess we'll all spend our birthday here at some point. When's yours?"

"September 2."

"Hopefully you won't spend it here."

Tucker took another sip of his water and put down the bottle.

"Oh, here's your PDA." I handed him his device.

"Thanks Sam. Happy Birthday again." Tucker said. He opened his arms a little and I took that as an invitation to give him a hug. I smiled a little and let go after a few seconds.

"I'm going to continue working on this broken radio. I hope you have a good day. Or a decent day at least."

"Thanks Tuck." I gave him a small smile and nod and walked towards the ocean.

Danny's POV

I was watching Sam from a distance. She looked like she didn't want to be bothered today. When she kicked sand into her face, I couldn't help but laugh a little. She's pretty cute when she's mad. I was about to get up and talk to her when Tucker approached her first.

They were smiling and talking. Why were they doing that? Wasn't she angry like 20 seconds ago? They never talked much before.

Then he hugged her. And she hugged back.

What the hell was going on? Did Sam like Tucker? She was smiling at him and handing him his PDA. Why would she need it in the first place? God, I was becoming an obsessive jealous freak.

Annoyed, I turned around and grabbed a banana from the fruit pile. I angrily opened it and shoved half of it into my mouth. I didn't feel like talking to anyone anymore. Sam may as well have Tucker as company. I glanced over to the other direction and found Timmy staring at me intensely with his green eyes. Uh…?

"Hey kiddo. How are you?" I asked him.

"I want the banana." Timmy replied. Typical 3-year old talk. Oh well, at least he didn't talk about pop tarts and other stuff anymore.

"Here you go." I reached over to the stack and handed him the banana. He opened it by himself and ate it.

"Where's Sammy?" Timmy asked. He was staring at me while eating his banana.

"She's at the beach I think. Why, do you need something?" I asked him.

Timmy didn't respond to me. He just stared at me. Sometimes it looks like he's trying to tell me something with his eyes or something.

"Okay then. I'll go get her for you." I stood up and smiled at him. Timmy smiled back.

I started to walk away when I thought I heard a deep voice say "just kiss already". I quickly turned around and didn't see anyone except Timmy. Timmy looked at me with wide eyes and grinned.

"Dandy!" He babbled. I gave him a smile and walked off, confused. Eh, maybe it was just my imagination or the wind.

I walked towards Sam, who was sitting alone at the beach. Her hair was blowing slightly because of the wind. Remembering her and Tucker earlier, I got annoyed again.

"Uh, Timmy wants you." I said. I shoved my hands in my pockets and acted casual.

"Um, okay." Sam looked at me strangely and got up. I already felt guilty for acting this way, but I kept the act up. Without saying anything, I turned around without waiting for her.

"Danny, wait up!" Sam caught up to me and smiled.

"I haven't talked to you all day. What's up?" She asked, punching my shoulder lightly.

"Nothing. Timmy needs you." Jesus, why was I acting so bitchy? She didn't do anything wrong. I didn't own Sam. Hell, we're friends at most. I wasn't like this before.

"What's up with you? Sand in your pants?" Sam teased, putting her elbow on my shoulder so that she could mess up my hair. The spot she touched immediately tingled and I could already feel my heart accelerating.

I got mad when she gave Tucker a hug. I got sad when she got sad. I always felt the need to chase after her and make sure she was okay. I felt intoxicated simply by sitting next to her and smelling her lavender vanilla scent. Every time she touched me, I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. Every time she teased me, I knew my face turned red and I just had to tease her back. When I took her flying, the look of amazement in her eyes made my heart flutter. When she laughed, I felt like the entire world was happy and that everything would be fine as long as I was with her. I wanted nothing more in the world than to take her in my arms and kiss her. I couldn't even deny it anymore. I'm hopelessly in love with Samantha Manson.

And I can't ever have her because she doesn't love me back.

"I'm fine! Just leave me alone!" I pushed her hand off of my shoulder and stormed off. I felt horrible. I felt like the most cruel person in the world. I could already picture Sam's hurt and confused face.

Sam's POV

What the hell was wrong with Danny? He was fine yesterday, and all of a sudden he's being a total jerk today. The one person on this island who I thought I could confide in and talk to at any time is now angry with me. And I don't even know why.

'Wow, what a wonderful birthday.' I thought. Danny said Timmy needed me. I walked over to Timmy.

"Hi Timmy! What did you need?" I asked, smiling at him. His bright green eyes stared into my purple ones.

"Happy Birdday!" He exclaimed. He got up and hugged me tightly. Shocked, surprised, and happy, I hugged him back and knelt down to his height.

"Awww, thank's Timmy! How did you know it was my birthday? Did Tucker tell you?" I asked him, grinning.

"Tucky told me its your birdday!" Timmy exclaimed. He held up both of his hands in front of me. I laughed and gave him a double high five. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw Danny watching us. He looked confused and sort of angry. I decided not to even bother him today.

I decided to talk to Jazz. She was always calm and collected. I was getting bored and wanted some company. I walked over to her. She was busy staring at some rocks.

"Hey Jazz. What are you doing?" I asked. Jazz looked up.

"Hey Sam! I'm just examining these rocks. They're really unusual. I took a course on natural and earth sciences last year and learned a lot about rocks." Jazz said. I chuckled. She was really enthusiastic about education.

"Sounds interesting! Why are they unusual?" I asked.

"They just look different from anything I've ever seen. I might be mistaken, but there might be diamond somewhere here! It looks like it but I can't really tell. We'd really have to dig to find it." Jazz looked through the rocks, trying to find some "hidden treasure".

"That's so cool!" I exclaimed, actually meaning it this time. Finding diamond on this island would be really neat. I glanced over at Danny, who was talking to Tucker. He looked really surprised suddenly. His eyes were wide open. I sighed again. I wish we could just talk. I missed having someone to make fun of, and someone who'd tease me back. It's only been a day and I already miss Danny's annoying-ness. I sat down on a nearby log and looked around for Dash and Paulina. Neither of them were in sight, and I automatically knew what they were up to.

Gross. Those two have literally been going at it everyday for about a week now. I'm pretty sure Paulina has a boyfriend back home too.

I didn't like the log I was sitting on and decided to take a little nap. I put my jacket in the sand and used it as a pillow. I let my body touch the warm sand. Sighing in content, I left the warmth cover me and I quickly fell asleep.

"Sam… Sam get up!" I felt something poking my arm. I jolted up in surprise and almost screamed. I saw Danny staring at me as if I was crazy.

"Sorry sorry. I just wanted you to get up. Come with me!" Danny was smiling now, and he had his hand out. Rolling my eyes, I took his hand and got up.

"I thought you were mad at me, although I don't know why." I said groggily. I noticed that neither of us let go of each other's hands.

Danny didn't say anything; he just led me into the forest.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"Just wait, Sam." Danny replied. Our fingers were intertwined now. I blushed a little and smiled. Thank god he didn't see that. After a while, I realized he was leading us to our spot. The special lake.

I looked on the ground and saw a big basket of fruit, a few sweatshirts on the ground, and a few small fires about the size of candles lit next to it, just above the water. It was about evening time, and the dark blue sky and small fire contrasted greatly.

I gasped at the beautiful sight and turned to Danny.

"Danny… What is this?" I asked, internally gushing over the sight.

"Sam, I'm really sorry I was being so rude and mean to you earlier for no reason. I have no idea why I was acting like that, especially on your birthday." Danny said, smiling. I automatically started blushing and smiling like an idiot.

"I… I don't know what to say! Danny, this is beautiful." I was at a loss of words. I had no idea Danny would do this for me.

"Come sit down. I know it's not as pretty as a blanket and a real picnic basket, but it's the best I could do with our supplies. I-"

I cut him off. "Danny, it's absolutely perfect. I love it!" I sat down across from him and stared into his eyes.

"Here, I have a wide variety of fruit for us to eat."

I didn't even know what to say at all. No one ever went this far for me. I was stranded on a deserted island. I possibly had no chance of getting back home. Yet Danny managed, somehow, to make this the best birthday I could ever have. My eyes started to water a little. My face was burning hot and I quickly wiped away the tears.

"Are you okay, Sam? Do you not like it?" Danny asked. He quickly stood up and pulled me up too.

"Danny, no one has ever gone this far for me. I… I love this so much. This is so beautiful and I…" The tears started to flow and I couldn't stop smiling. Without thinking, I threw my arms around Danny's neck and hugged him tightly. I felt two arms quickly wrap around me. My heart started beating like crazy, fast enough to scare a cardiologist. I cried into Danny's neck like a baby. I felt one of Danny's hands in my hair now, and he was stroking it softly.

"I'm- I'm sorry Danny. It's just so amazing. Let's eat." I let go of Danny and wiped away my last year. I grabbed his hand and led him to our picnic.

"I… I'm glad you like it." Danny smiled at me.

"This food looks amazing. I'd take this picnic over any other picnic in the world." I stated, absolutely meaning it. I took a bite of mango, while Danny popped a few berries into his mouth.

"Danny, you didn't have to do this. I don't deserve this."

"Don't talk like that. It's your birthday and you're stuck here. I treated you so badly today and you didn't deserve that at all. This is for you, and you 100 percent deserve it because you're amazing."

I blushed furiously and smiled. Jeez, when was I such a girl?

We spent the rest of our picnic date making jokes and just talking. We even teased each other and just had the pretty much the best date ever.

Was it a date? I don't even know what we are.

After we ate, we stood up.

"Let's head back to camp now. This was amazing Danny." I said, smiling and walking towards him.

"Oh, it's not over yet. I was actually gonna take you on a flight. Unless you're tired or something. Then I guess we can go back? I uh…" Danny rubbed the back of his head. Beaming, I ran up to him and practically jumped into his arms. Danny grinned and went ghost; the transition from Fenton to Phantom never failed to impress me. His hair went from black to white. Eyes from blue to glowing green.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Always!" I exclaimed, excited for the flight. Danny grinned and we lifted off of the ground. I put my hands around his neck and leaned my head into his chest.

Timmy's POV

I'm currently at the camp with Jazz, Tucker, Dash and Paulina. I automatically knew that Danny and Sam were on some romantic birthday date or something. For someone in a three-year old body, I'm a pretty good spy. Tucker and Jazz never seemed to catch me doing anything weird. I almost got caught by Danny today though. He heard my little "kissing" remark. Luckily, I just had to act like an innocent kid. Still, I miss my real body. My 15-year old body is my real one, the one that Clockwork made me go back in time to change for this form… or something. He was giving me a lecture about it but I kind of zoned out because I was thinking about cheeseburgers.

Danny and Sam had to fall in love though. Luckily, it was happening at the current moment. I saw a quick shadow fly across the sky, and I knew it was Danny taking Sam on a flight. We had about 30 days or something, until the world got destroyed or whatever. Damn, I really should pay attention when Clockwork is talking. I had faith in Danny and Sam though. I'm pretty sure they're already in love, but they have to admit it to each other, or kiss or something.

Clockwork froze the current time (when I was 15) and brought me back as a 3 year old. Somehow, I have the same brain. I think Clockwork did some weird time magic. Whatever it is, it's really powerful and this mission relies on it. I don't even understand the whole time thing. It's too confusing. My job is to help make Danny and Sam fall in love before time runs out.

Sam's POV

We were on a long, peaceful flight for about half an hour before we landed back at the beautiful lake. We were both silent, but it was a comfortable silence. I got out of Danny's arms and stood on the ground.

"Danny… Thank you so much. I can't believe you went through all of this trouble for me. This really was the best birthday anyone could ever ask for. We.. we're stranded on a deserted island and I'd take this birthday over any other I've ever had." I said, looking straight into his eyes. I took a step closer to him and put my arms around his neck again.

We stood in that position for a while, just a tight hug where neither of us wanted to let go. I inhaled his scent, which was some sort of pine and mint combination. It smelled manly.

I let go of Danny and smiled. I grabbed his hand and we intertwined our fingers.

"Let's head back to the main camp now." I said. Danny was silent. He just smiled and nodded. We began walking. I was slightly ahead of him, but we were still holding hands. I suddenly felt a jerk on my arm because Danny stopped walking.

I turned around and faced him.

"Danny, what's wrong? Why'd you stop?" I asked, stepping closer to him.

Danny didn't say a word; he just stared into my eyes intensely. It looked like he wanted to say something. Or…?

Danny, who still had a grip of my hand, suddenly pulled me extremely close to him. I automatically snaked my arms around his neck (how many times have I done that today?) and was praying that he'd do what I wanted him to do. Danny put his hands on my hips, leaned down, and closed the gap between us. Immediately reacting, I kissed him back quickly, trying to close any gaps between us. I had to get closer and closer, even though we were already meshed against each other. Unlike most first kisses, this one was fast and full of desire. I put both of my hands on his face and continued to kiss him with every ounce of power I had. His lips felt surprisingly soft, and kissing him was the most intoxicating feeling in the world. Danny's hands were both on my back now, pushing me closer and closer. I couldn't get enough of him. I knew now that I loved this boy. I love Danny Fenton. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around Danny's waist. He held me up with both of his hands without breaking the kiss.

After God knows how long, we had to stop kissing because it was extremely late and we were both oxygen deprived. I looked up at Danny's cheeks, which were bright red. I knew mine were too.

"Wow…" I whispered. I thought that the best feeling in the world would be to spend the evening with Danny. Or to go on flights in his arms.

"I… I know." Danny said quietly. We were both at a loss of words.

Boy, was I wrong, Kissing Danny was the best damn feeling in the world. His kisses left me in a state of euphoria, and I felt like I was in another world. Heaven.

Danny and I walked back to the camp, hand-in-hand. I lay down in my usual spot and saw Danny went to his, which was a little further away. Everyone else was asleep.

"No." I said, just loud enough for Danny to hear. I didn't even have to explain. He walked over to me with his sweatshirt and other "bedding". He lay down behind me, put his arm around my waist, and kissed my neck.

"Good night, Sam." Danny whispered. He softly kissed my cheek and we both fell asleep in each other's arms.

That was one hell of a birthday.

OMG. They kissed. They finally kissed.

I just HAD to put in that major fluffiness. I kind of liked the idea of Danny initially being jealous of Tucker. God damn, where can I get a Danny? He seems like an amazing kisser. I really felt romantic today. And I was happy about the many reviews. So YAY FOR FLUFF!

Also, what's up with Timmy? He's actually 15? What's his connection to Danny and Sam? Why is Clockwork relying on him? What's his background story?

Hehehe. Guess you'll find out next time. Remember, MORE REVIEWS = FASTER UPDATE! Please review! Your reviews make my day!
