Chapter 8

Sonic the hedgehog, hero of Mobius, walked down the passage way to the rooms Eggman mentioned. He knew Tails, a golden two-tailed fox, was around here somewhere. He continued on and reached a door. Instead of opening it he walked at it. It swung open and the hedgehog saw his little brother sitting on a bed sniffing in tears.

Sonic walked in and sat down next to him. They sat there for a while in till Sonic broke the silence "Soooo… We're here. Eggman is just trying to find the perfect place to land without being noticed."

Tails nodded. Sonic leaned back onto the bed with his arms behind his head relaxing. "Something bothering you."

"Y-yes." The fox sobbed.

Sonic sat up "What?"

Tails looked at Sonic then away "Flash backs and pain resuming its after effect."

Sonic stared at the fox like he was told a complicated problem that was completely boring "Sorry, what?"

Tails sighed. He felt better when he talked like that. Confused faces can cheer him up "The way Wave keeps treating me reminds me of Judas."

"Ahh… That can't be all that's it."

Tails shook his head "I… I don't want more enemies." Tails broke down crying.

Sonic didn't need a description. Blaze and Shadow are the only ones on the ship who didn't know what the fox had done. All Tails wants now is friends, but both the feline cat and black hedgehog seem ruthless and uncaring. Blaze has a good reason. She is royalty and spends most of her time alone.

Shadow has none. He saved the lives of everyone and thought to have died for a while, but he wanted revenge. Now that was over he should be more cheery. Not the case though.

Tails then lowered his ears and fiddled with his fingers nervously. Sonic knew something was about to reveal it's self. "I…I also have a… thing… for… Blaze."

Sonic raised a brow and smiled. He then nodded "Yah. Okay. I can see that. She is kind pretty."

Tails nodded and blushed. Sonic jumped up "Alright. Let's have a talk with her."

Tails then jumped up with pure shock "NO!"

Sonic looked at him "Tails you will never know how she'll feel in till she talks to you."

"I have considered it, but…" Tails looked sad again. "…She doesn't notice me."

Sonic began taping his foot in thought. After a while he shrugged "Wait in till tomorrow and we'll see if that changes."

Tails slowly nodded. He helped Silver with the other Blaze, this Blaze can't be that much of a difference. Actually, that is incorrect, now he thought about it. That Blaze was a nice and gentle person, this Blaze was more of a "Do it or else" Royalty thing.

Tails sighed, but then Sonic slid next to him "What about Wave?"

The fox then sighed in annoyance.

Eggman piloted the ship as he steered the Egg-carrier looking for the perfect place to land. So far there was none and they were only getting farther away from the city.

Blaze was at a side window looking out into the devastated landscape. She was basically horrified.

Shadow looked out the front and shook his head "Why would anyone ever want this?"

Silver then responded "Lunatics." As he sat back in a chair looking upside down at the black hedgehog.

Ralph, Sally, Eggman, Metal Sonic, Omega, and Seven glared at Silver.

Realizing what he has said then tried something else hastily "But probably the robots aren't listening to their master right now."

Shadow nodded not noticing the glares Silver received "The last one made more sense."

"Yes it did." Eggman replied a little angered.

Silver smiled guilty.

Sonic soon walked in with Tails right behind him. The fox soon stopped and saw all the devastation. Toppled buildings, cities on fire, rubble and wrecked cars everywhere, and trees and grass laying over in destruction.

The fox then began to tear up "I can't believe my creations want to accomplish this feet."

Sonic then slapped himself in the face "Dang it Sonic. You had one job. "Don't let him see this." Ralph is not going to be happy."

Shadow was the first to notice Tails "Coming out of hiding now?"

Everyone turned to the fox. Tails began to twist his tails together.

Sonic was surprised "What do you mean by that Shadow?"

The hedgehog rolled his eyes "He ran to his room. That looked like an act of hiding."

"I only wanted to leave so SHE-." Tails pointed roughly at Wave who was surprised at this "Wouldn't pick on me."

Shadow looked at the swallow "…Understandable. I can tell you have been crying."

Tails then rubbed his eyes hoping to get the stains out. Wave was about to mock him but stopped when she saw Silver get up with an evil smile. She remembered Sonic and Silver's threat and closed her mouth.

Jet lowered his head to his hand. He knew Wave almost did it, but Storm noticed and then copied just in case he missed something again.

Eggman then lowered the carrier "This is the best I could find."

Sonic then turned to see a certain dog glaring at him with his arms crossed. Sonic smiled guiltily. Ralph shook his head "You had one job. One job. Is it so hard to keep Tails in his room?"

Sonic shrugged with as a drop of sweat rolled of his head.

The ship landed and Eggman powered it off still in cloak mode. "No one get out in till we are sure there are no robots around."

Tails put on the glasses he used to spot out Alpha One. "There are none."

Knuckles waved his arms in the air "So what? Now we listen to HIM!"

Rouge crossed her arms "Yah. Why must we?"

Sonic grabbed the glasses nicely and looked around "I don't see any."

Cream slapped herself on the forehead "You're going to trust HIS invention?"

Eggman turned off the cloak shield "There are no robots in the vicinity."

Blaze cocked a brow "How do you know?"

Eggman smiled "Because the fox said so."

Silver nodded with a smile, but that faded when Seven leaned next to him looking at Blaze going his high-pitched "Mmm-hhh." Of agreement. Silver looked at the robot with a strange expression "You're freaky."

"Mmm-hhh."

"And that's just plain ol' scary."

"Mmm-hhh."

Silver looked the other way and pointed "I'm going that way to initiate "Avoid the creepy stalker" strategy."

Eggman looked at him slightly confused "How does that work."

Silver walked past him as Eggman continued to watch him "Walk away from the stalker."

Eggman looked at Seven how began to follow Silver. Eggman smiled "Yah. Like that's going to work."

Silver continued walking and once he reached the wall he walked on it all the way up to the ceiling. Seven looked after him and made a shock squealing sound.

Eggman lowered his head in disappointment "Never mind."

Seven jumped up and boosters from his feet made him float right at Silver's head. Seven then hunched over like a hypnotized maniac. Silver stared at the robot in surprise "From creepy to terrifying unbelievable stalker."

Tails elbowed Eggman playfully "Never mind again, doc?"

Eggman rested his head on his head on his hand "Leave me alone."

"Yah." Silver looked at Seven while still standing upside-down "Leave me alone."

Silver turned to walk away, but he was shocked to see Ralph doing the same thing as Seven with his booster boots "THIS IS HORRIFYNG. EVERYONE IS BEING POSSESED!"

Sonic snickered "From freaky, to creepy, to terrifying, to horrifying in less than three minutes is quite impressive." Tails giggled as well.

Blaze slammed her head against the wall "I should have said no to the help."

Shadow looked at her "Get use to it, and don't worry. Only those five are immature."

Silver floated down "GET HOLY WATER FOR THE DEMON POSSESED. And what do you mean five?"

Shadow rolled his eyes "You, Sonic, Tails, Ralph, and Seven."

"Well since Seven is Seven can we say eleven?"

Shadow rounded on Silver "SEVEN DOESN'T COUT AS SEVEN PEOPLE!"

Ralph landed next to Silver "Congrats. I was usually the only one able to do that to him."

Shadow growled "What?"

Ralph shrugged "Get you annoyed."

Blaze slammed the controls getting everyone's attention "STOP THIS NONSENCE NOW!"

Silver floated to her "We can make even more nonsense if we wished."

Blaze soon had fire running around her "I don't doubt that."

Silver backed off with his hands raised "Wow. Threat alert, threat alert. Derr, derr, derr, derr." Apparently Silver tried sounding like an alarm.

Blaze shot a fire ball at the grey hedgehog. Silver quickly raised his hands to block it, but it soon exploded sending him to the farthest wall denting it.

Eggman stood "CARFUL WITH THAT. You could damage the circuitry in the wall."

Blaze rounded on the doctor "I DON'T SEE HOW THESE GROUP OF IMBACILS IN FULLY CAPABLE OF FIGHTING SUCH ROBOTS."

Tails blood boiled. "She isn't even giving us a chance to prove ourselves."

Blaze then pointed at the fox "I'll just take the fox and the rest of you shall leave. I don't want any amateurs trying to save my world and destroy it instead."

Blaze turned to the fox, but Tails rounded on her, his anger blaring outward that it startled her "YOU'RE NOT EVEN GIVING THEM A CHANCE! THEY FOUGHT FOR YEARS AGIANST THOSE ROBOTS AND THEY FINALLY GOT FREE. FREE FROM FEAR, FREE FROM HATE, AND FREE FROM SERIOUSNESS. A LITTLE JOKING AROUND LIKE THAT HAPPENED DURING THE WAR AND IT SEEMED TO HAVE SPICED UP THE GROUP. SO DON'T GO YELLING AT THEM FOR WHAT THEY DO BEST AND WHAT THEY LOVE TO DO!"

Tails panted heavily and hard as his anger continued to boil in him. Blaze began backing up with her ears down. She was a little afraid of the fox. Everyone was looking at the fox. Those who know thought that the Mysterious Villain was returning to the surface. If this is true the threat would increase tremendously.

Blaze suddenly tripped back and Sonic caught her. He pulled her back up and walked toward Tails slowly as the fox continued to pant heavily in anger "T-tails? Y-you alright buddy?"

Tails panting soon calmed down and realization soon hit him like a ton of bricks. His posture loosened and his face turned from anger to surprised concern. He then took a step back and his expression fell as he strained his face trying to hold it in, but failed.

Tails quickly placed his face in his palms and began to bawl loudly. He then fell to his knees crying his heart out. Sonic ran over and hugged him telling him that he was going to be alright. Ralph ran over to the fox as well as Seven and Sally. Silver flew over and Eggman stood from his chair (That is a sign that the doctor cares, because he usually always sits no matter what is happening).

Blaze still had her ears down in shock and Shadow stared blankly at the fox who became crowded by people trying to comfort him "I didn't know the fox had that in him." Blaze looked over at Shadow with the same surprised expression then back at the fox.

Wave and the other Babylon Rouges were about to run for it since they thought the evil genius was back. The rest of Team Dark got ready for a fight and Cream and Cheese began to be pushed back gently by Amy who had her hammer out while Knuckles stood in his fighting stance growling.

Sonic helped Tails up as the fox rubbed his eyes sniffing. Tails slowly walked up to Blaze with his Tails dragging on the ground, his ears flat against his head, eyes looking down, and scrunching up his fingers.

Blaze took a step back unsure on what was next. Tails noticed and stopped. Almost in an inaudible whisper the fox apologized then turned and walked away. Ralph and Silver seemed to have changed from goofy to concerned in a matter of seconds a while ago, but they didn't go back to messing around. They followed Tails asking if he was alright and thanking him for sticking up for them.

Sonic then walked up to Blaze rubbing the back of his head. Blaze was still watching Tails and jumped slightly when she heard him say "Blaze." She turned to him "Please call him by his name. He's Tails, not "the fox"."

Sonic shrugged then walked away. She was expecting something else than that. She was now unsure about the group and the fox. She now thinks she better do it alone.

Amy placed her hammer on her shoulder and whispered "Man, I hoped he was back so I could smack him."

Knuckles crossed his arms annoyed "How do you think I feel?"

The Rouges were only confused. Was Tails angry or sad? Wave scoffed and whispered to Storm "Are you sure that's the greatest evil genius that almost destroyed the universe."

Cream stomped toward them "World! Not universe. World! Don't give him too much lousy credit!" She then stomped away while her chao, Cheese, flew at them and in like a whisper went "Chao, chao!" and then flew away.

The three birds looked after the duo with astounded looks. Jet looked at his team "Is it just me or is that kid and her little strange friend are unusually creepy?"

Wave scratched her head "Are you sure it's not a grown rabbit with a strange height defect?"

Jet threw his arms in the air "At this point anything is possible. Even the stuff I thought impossible is turning out otherwise."

Wave looked unaffected by this as if she saw it coming and was bored "Like what?"

"Meeting the Mysterious Villain."

"… Good one actually."

Blaze straitened up and corrected her posture. She readapted after the sudden fox outbreak. Eggman had sat back down and began typing as he mumbled "Need to find where their base is."

Blaze then looked around "I shouldn't have accepted their offer of help, including that rude and selfish fox."

The lavender cat then turned and walked out. No one noticed that this "walk out" was literal. She left the ship entirely and marched strait out of the forest to her city. She crouched low and began to search for her people.

She continued past ruble and turned over cars that now look centuries old. She then began into a building and onto the roof. She leaped the staircase five floors at a time thanks to her fire powers. Fire would blast from her feet allowing her to fire upwards. She opened the roof door and walked out. She looked around the edges and spotted what she searched for. Her people were being forced into strange cells. She leaped off the roof and floated at the group. She then blasted herself up and crashed down.

A robot with gray armor yet thin body feature turned toward her. His eyes glow a dark color of purple making it hard to tell the shape his pupil seemed to form.

Blaze growled and took a fighting stance "Let them go!"

The robot looked around nodding with raised brows as walked toward her like he was considering it. He then stopped a few feet away "…Or what?"

Blaze activated her fire powers and growled some more "Release them!"

The robot rolled his eyes and looked at the prisoners, but his sight quickly fell back to the princess "I can take that two was Princess Blaze, guardian of the sol emeralds, and queen of fire. One is to let them go so they can get on with their miserable lives… Or!" Blaze took a step back "I could release their soul by ending those miserable lives."

"Or release their hearts from their chest and feed it to our robotic dogs."

Blaze heart leaped as she turned to the mechanism that spoke. Alpha Omega One walked along the sides of the prison cells. His head was lowered and slightly hunched over as he glared at the fire princess. It looked as if he wanted to kill her after following her home.

Blaze took another step back. She met that thing not more than an hour ago. Alpha One pressed a button on a cell and the energy bars faded. He then snatched a bird from the cell and threw her out. Reactivating the bars he grabbed the bird's head and slammed it down, but it didn't kill anything.

Blaze gritted her teeth and clenched her fists "Let her go."

"Not as commanding as before. Where is the rest of the team you asked for help?"

"I didn't ask. They kept saying they were good, but I now see they aren't. So I left."

Alpha One looked around "Oh, ho. Not good enough? Say that to my face after I tell you that team actually put me down for a while, but like always I get back up again."

Blaze took a step back. The bird squealed as Alpha One increased pressure "Where are they?"

Blaze pounced. Alpha One didn't expect that and let go of the bird. She got up to run but the grey robot grabbed her. Blaze threw a fire ball at the black robot, but it grabbed it and held it in his hands. Blaze's eyes popped open and her jaw fell.

Alpha One raised the fire and blasted a strange beam that looked like the flame. Blaze was struck and she fell down. She got up, but pain soared through her like a jet breaking the sound barrier.

She stood with shacking legs and arms trying to remain with an intimidating expression, but Alpha One had a death glare that seemed as if that should kill the princess. Blaze fell over, her expression gone and fear coming in. Alpha One walked over and each step seemed like an elephant with two armored feet. Blaze raised her arm over her head in defense, but Alpha One swatted it away and grabbed her neck. "What happened to the intimidating look cat?"

Blaze had tears in her eyes as she gripped its arm around her throat. The grey robot tossed the bird back into her cell and activated the bars.

Alpha One then pulled her over to a cell "Get nice a comfy in this box your "highness"."

"Oh! Can I join in?"

Alpha One turned and reeled back his head as a big rock smacked him in the face. At this Blaze fell down after the robot lost his grip. Alpha One glared at the thrower "Silver!"

Silver flew down and did a tap dance. Sonic and the rest came out "And others alpha bot."

Alpha One stood strait up and boringly said "Mega-bots. Attack!"

The ground shook and five 4.0s advanced toward the group. Sonic got down on his legs "Bring it bold heads."

Sonic dashed at the group along with Shadow. Silver grabbed Knuckles and flew at them as well. The rouges had no idea what to do so took steps back. Tails looked at them "Seriously?"

"What are we suppose to do?" Jet almost yelled.

Tails threw a finger in the air like it was obvious "Uh, help." The fox then dashed off.

Ralph walked forward and said to Rouge and Omega "Okay guys. Let's take at least one down. Remember the eye is the weakness."

Omega and Rouge charged leaving Ralph behind "HEY! WAIT UP!"

A metal hand grabbed his shoulder. Ralph turned to Metal Sonic "Wait here. You're more in league with these." The Assassin bots came walking around the corner.

Ralph hunched over disappointingly "Aww. Come on. I wanted to try one of those big ones."

Sonic and Shadow ran side by side "Rock, paper, scissors, Shadow. What is it?"

"Not now."

"Not now then when?"

"MOVE!" Shadow shoved Sonic one way while he ran the other just as the 4.0 shot a beam past them. Sonic ran up its leg distracting it while Shadow ran up behind it. Sonic jumped onto its head barley missing the eye tricking it into closing it. After the glass left Shadow turned as he grabbed its forehead and swung down with his feet and kicked the eye. The robot didn't have any barriers this time and as Shadow jumped off the robot blew.

Silver threw Knuckles at the robot's eye and as it shut the eye Knuckles struck it and fell onto its chest. As the metal lid flew open Silver threw a sharp metal rod with his powers. It struck the glass cracking it and made the robot flinch. Knuckles then swung around from where he hung from its head and smashed it all the way in. Silver pulled him out before it blew.

Team Dark (Rouge and Omega) ran at another. Rouge flew into the air while Omega shot a missile at the red orb. The eye shut just as the missile connected and as the panel reopened Rouge kicked it. The glass had a small crack, but a sudden whirl sounded and the robot turned. Metal Sonic crashed into the glass creating a bigger crack. Soon a purple streak flew into the eye before it could react and it blew. Wave scowled as she held a remote control in her hands "This better be worth it. I just lost my board."

Tails flew up to a robot and stopped in front of the eye and smiled. The robot stopped and looked at him surprised. The fox then flew slowly at it and before he touched it swung his tails. The robot soon blew and Tails flew at the last one and did the same. The last one blew and he angled its fall so it fell on a generator. It crashed onto it and it blew, the cell bars soon disappeared and everyone began to come out.

Amy, Sally, and Ralph were fighting the assassins. Amy could barley hit any their speed seemed to match Sonic's, Sally had more success except their speed made it tricky with her blaster, but Ralph… Ralph was acting unusual. He fought the things like he was use to the speed and strength. He had already taken down twenty. After twenty-five he looked around and made a gesture that said 'Bring it' "Come on. Is that all ya got "Assassins"?" More came at him and left Amy seeing her as no threat. Amy huffed in annoyance and charged after them. As the five got ready to fight Ralph Amy screamed and swung her hammer. The big mallet soon slammed each robot into a rock and she then raised it and smashed them again and again in till they were off line. Amy shook her hair up and looked at Ralph who looked as if, even though his armor covered every inch of his body, he was perplexed. Amy smiled "Who's tough now?"

The grey robot and Alpha One looked around looking unimpressed as the group surrounded them. Sonic threw a fist into a palm "Who, may I ask, is that?"

Alpha One turned to the grey robot, but then back at Sonic with the same bored expression without answering. Tails landed next to Sonic and pointed at it "That's Phi."

Rouge looked at Tails "The assistant?"

Phi rotated his head as if trying to crack it "Nice to meet you too."

Sonic dashed at it but Phi moved too fast. He dodged and grabbed Sonic's back as he lowered him down and brought up his knee. There was a loud "BAM!" and the knee collided with the hedgehog's stomach. Sonic went down gasping for breath. Phi raised a fist that then had a claw come out ready to end him, but in a flash of green blur Jet snagged Sonic away just in time.

Ralph then jumped in. Phi put away the claw and blocked all his attacks, but suddenly a fist collided with the face and then a knee to the solar plexus. Phi doubled over and Ralph grabbed the bot's back and flung him into a cell. There was the sound of ripping metal and the robot had flown through the back wall and continued onward in till it began to bounce on the ground and out of sight.

Ralph then turned to Alpha One with a fighting stance. Alpha One didn't seem fazed and his posture stayed the same. "Ah. There's the elite training you went through."

Sally soon looked confused "What?"

Ralph turned toward her "Later." He replied in a singing voice.

Tails landed next to Sally "Sally, don't tell me you never recognized the your most skilled and honorable Royal Elite Guard leader."

Sally seemed to have gotten more confused "WHAT?!"

Ralph the slumped over "What's with everyone and forgetting about me?"

Alpha One laughed "Sally. That is just embracing. When he received a medal of honor he introduced himself to you… for the fifth time. Every time you met him you forget, because of Sonic. He even met the hero."

Sonic got up coughing "What?"

Ralph then pointed at Sonic "I knew he would forget me. It's like a curse."

Alpha One looked up and nodded. Ralph then flew his face up and then crashed onto the ground. Shadow ran at him "What was that?"

Ralph rubbed his chin "I don't know. It felt as if that was a fist."

Alpha One then towered over the dog "It was." Then his pupils turned from deep red to a strange glowing black "I punched you."

Alpha One then appeared on the other side of the cell block with Ralph in hand and rammed him into a cell. Ralph groaned. Tails shook his head "I said he was upgraded."

Ralph tried to fight but Alpha One swung hard and the world shook. The dog then went limp. "What Ralph? What happened to the tough guy scenario with Phi or the Assassins?"

He raised a fist to strike again but a hand grabbed it. He ignored it… in till he couldn't move his hand. He turned slowly "Let go!"

Tails stood there in his super form "Make me."

Sonic smiled "Oh yah. I forgot we had the emeralds."

Alpha One let the dog go and swung a punch. The force was strong enough to make the fox go "OOF!" and let go.

Alpha One stood higher and began to walk around the Super Tails "I know I cannot beat you alone in that form, Miles."

Tails smiled and got ready to fight. Alpha One finally raised his head instead of it being lowered and glaring at people "But you forgot that we have the sol emeralds."

Tails eyes opened wide. Alpha One though opened his chest and one of the emeralds was there it grew and brighter in till the robot blinked away in a red flash. Tails looked around "He fled I guess."

Shadow soon ran next to Tails "I looked around for Phi. He's gone as well." He then stared at the fox "So you can turn super. What next surprise do you have for us?"

Blaze stood up in amazement. The gang then walked to her and waited. The princess lowered her head "I-I'm sorry… I thought none of you were good enough."

Sonic looked agitated "Not good enough? Blaze we told you we fought these things before. That should have said we are your best hope."

Tails then placed the last emerald in the suitcase "And we have all seven of our emeralds."

Blaze looked down "I am truly sorry."

Tails only shrugged "That's okay Blaze. We all make mistakes."

Sonic gave a thumbs up "The way we act it would seem we would never win against these robots."

Blaze shrugged still looking gloomy. The prisoners soon began to cheer for the heroes and thanked them profoundly. Eggman soon floated in with his pod and he activated a switch to enhance his voice "ENOUGH LOLLYGAGING! FOLLOW SONIC AND HIS FRIENDS TO OUR CAMP BEFORE ANY MORE MICHANICAL THREATS COME." Everyone looked at Eggman unsure.

The doctor flung his head against the panel and shot right back up "MOVE IT!"

Everyone quickly dashed after Ralph who ordered them, more nicely than Egghead, to follow him. Luckily he was run over. Sonic was about to follow, but a hand soon pulled on his arm. The blue hedgehog looked at his brother "What's up Tails."

The fox looked away looking sad "…I don't think it can stay a secret much longer Sonic."

"People won't know who you use to be."

"But the way I know the robots, how they act around me, and how Alpha One knows my real name is giving it away." Sonic's expression soon turned to concern. Tails then looked over his shoulder and whispered "And I don't want her to hate me."

Sonic looked over at Blaze who was helping some citizens who could barely stand. Sonic then remembered what she said she would do when she found out who destroyed her land. Sonic's ears fell and he said worriedly "Oh boy."

/End. Please, PLEASE review. I think ever since I added Silver, the humor aspect has been enhanced during Sonic's Two Tailed Mistake. Tell me if the story is funny, I am trying. When I reread my first story I thought certain chapters with the future hedgehog were hilarious. Any questions just ask through message or review. I would appreciate any support. And sorry I didn't update. I just had to get back into the groove (Reason I reread the story). Also chapter one of Sonic's Two Tailed Mistake has been edited. Tell me if it's better. That was the chapter with a ton of mistakes./
