Tails' robot has finally exploded and fallen into the ocean to rust. The fox goes to his new home so he can live a happier life, or so thought. No one is willing to accept the world's most dangerous criminal. Two years latter someone is back. And yet his name is still the Mysterious Villain. Has Tails gone back to the dark side? (Sequel to Sonic's Two Tailed Mistake)

25. Chapter 24

I do not own any Sonic or the characters from SEGA or Archie.

Chapter 24

The ground shattered as the mighty robot roared sending dust and people up and away. Anonymous quickly flipped in midair and pressed a button as he landed on his feet. The entire terrorist army got up and started running. One even grabbed Cream and started running away with her and cheese. Tails pushed himself up shivering; he could not look at the robot he once created for the full purpose of destroying the planet.

Sonic blasted into the air "SILVER, SHADOW, KNUCKLES ATTACK THAT THING, NOW!" The four blasted off at the robot but suddenly all three bounced off harmlessly. The robot fully came out shattering the ground and started turning the entire crater into a canyon.

Shadow spun around and looked at it "What the-?!"

Alpha One spoke up "Where do you think the blasted Master Emerald is?"

Knuckles eyes widened and spun to look at Destructor "WHAT?!"

"By the way. This is not like the first battle. Watch yourself."

Silver looked at him "What do you- WAAHHHH-OUCH!" He was suddenly smacked away by what look like a tail from the giant robot. At the same time it slammed Knuckles with its front limbs and threw him off. Shadow blasted at its head, however Destructor responded with a blast of its own from its mouth flinging the hedgehog away.

Sonic turned to Tails "We could really use your help with your super form too bud."

Tails looked at him wide-eyed and shook his head vigorously "I-I-I don't trust myself for that."

Sonic was about to argue but the robot charged at him. The hedgehog barley dodged before flying off to find the others.

The fox dashed off and appeared right next to the fleeing Babylon

Rouges on their boards. At first Jet was shocked to see him but looked sternly at him "Well genius! What now?"

Tails' ears fell looking forward "I-I don't know… I design it to be indestructible. Last time they fought it, it had no emeralds powering it. Even if they are in their super forms, Destructor has the Master Emerald this time."

Wave scoffed "Good work."

Tails flinched as tears began building up. The fox was trying not to sob but his voice got thick and began cracking "I-I didn't mean to create that thing. I only wanted for my suffering to end and I just-just wanted-." The fox suddenly began slowing down covering his face breaking down in tears.

The rouges shot off watching him in surprise. Storm turned to Wave "Why did you do that?"

Wave, looking more surprised than the others, raised her hands "I didn't mean to make him cry!"

Jet nearly rounded on her "We need his help more than anyone else, Wave! He knows that thing more than anyone else!"

Wave got in the hawks face "I SAID I DIDN'T MEAN IT!"

The fox stood there crying and covering his face. Others are suffering for what he has done and he is tormented from it. Even when he thought it was over he is plagued by the spite of others. Now suddenly it was not over, it was never over and his robots attack another universe creating even more hurt and he has made even more people to hate him now. Blaze… he never wanted Blaze to hate him, but for them to win he had to reveal who he was… resulting in the near death of one of his only friends and the near kidnapping of Blaze for purposes the fox had no intention of carrying out.

The fox wiped his face harshly. He had to stay strong. Think of a weakness! Nothing is truly invincible… but Destructor was as close as it came.

The fox fiercely swiped a tear off his face. He turned and ran off toward the massive robot. He looked up to see Blaze staring at it in her fiery super form the fox stopped, cupped his mouth, and shouted "BLAZE!"

Blaze was watching the robot in despair. Four glowing blurs pound it only to be thrown and blasted away by nearly unseeable attacks. She blinked, did someone just call her. She looked down and her eyes narrowed. Tails was right below her. She floated down full of rage, her eyes literately full of fire "What do you want? Haven't you done enough damage?!"

Tails ears shot down to his skull tears forming again "I-I never wanted this to happen."

Blaze landed and rounded on him and pointed at the direction of the destruction and violence "Then why did you make that?"

Tails looked down in shame and closed his eyes as tears slowly flowed out. He opened them and looked at her using as much will power as he had to not just break down "I-I might get an idea to defeating it. I just need to get closer to study it. I could find a weakness. I-I know it better than anyone else." Blaze crossed her arms, but her attention was clearly peaked. The fox looked over and indicated to the robot "He is solely program to kill Sonic. So he'll mainly go after him. If he goes into an area we don't want him in then we need Sonic to deter it somewhere else." Blaze nodded and looked over at the robot.

The fox gulped and continued "The best place of rest against it is probably the back. It could look back and spot you then fire from its mouth or eyes, but since it has multiple enemies out there it will most likely not notice you. Don't try it too often then it will activate defenses there."

Blaze's arched an eyebrow "Why aren't those defenses activated now?"

"I never activated them." Tails looked away "That's all I have to offer at the moment, but I might think of something I just need to get closer."

Blaze looked off then with an evil smile looked at the fox "I'll give you a lift." She grabbed the fox's coat and blasted off. Only a second later, to the fox, he was smashed through a building, began bouncing, and skidding off the ground.

Tails landed on his back and grunted he sat up and watched the red blur of Blaze firing off into battle. The fox's ears fell and he looked down, tears threatening to fall. He shook his head and jumped up. He ran off to watch the robot fight.

Before With Sonic And The Others

Sonic flew off away from Tails; he really wanted the fox to fight. The young kid was the best at chaos control than even Shadow, mainly because the fox studied the emeralds powers immensely. No time in trying to convince him to fight though. He needs to rally Shadow, Knuckles, Blaze, and Silver, defiantly Silver. The hedgehog cried out in astonishment as Destructor appeared right in front of him.

The hero blasted up only to be stopped. He looked down to see the robot sucking in the air to get to him. Sonic threw a hand in the air "CHAOS CONTROL!" He teleported away.

The hero appeared a few miles away and as h spun around he saw Silver flying up shivering with wide eyes "Nightmare, just a nightmare. That thing is dead. Just dead. Yah, dead. Why would it be alive? It died, just died. Not alive. Dead."

"Silver."

"AGHGHHHHHHGHGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH… ek." Silver stiffened in midair.

Sonic floated down in front of him "What's with you?"

"…Dead."

"You're not dead."

"Whu?... NOT ME, DESTRUCTOR!"

Sonic grabbed Silver's shoulders and shook him harshly "Silver! I understand your… 'great' adventures with this thing, but I need you now. We have to fight this. You think I'm happy?"

"I don't know! You did make a stupid sarcastic remark earlier… because none of my adventures with that thing were 'great'!"

"Look. You have me, Shadow, Knuckles, and even Blaze in our super forms to fight this."

"Yah, but… Well… never had this advantage… which I said about the last time we fought him and we nearly lost."

Sonic shrugged "Still won though."

Silver grimaced "Did we though? Did we? Still alive isn't it?"

Sonic sighed "You need to look up the definition of defeat."

"LOOK OUT YOU IDIOTS!" They turned to see Shadow and Knuckles blasting toward them. The hedgehogs turned just in time to see the vicious robot right beside them and before the two could do anything they were smacked away by the chains that flew out of its neck. The two flipped and once they regained their composure flew at the evil machine.

Shadow threw a punch along with Knuckles, but the robot suddenly disappeared and reappeared beside them. It raised a leg and smashed them both to the side and something dethatched from the foot and wrapped itself around the four and as they flew off a giant explosion shattered through the air. Silver and Sonic charged as well and smashed through… what? They faded through it?

Silver froze and spun "WATCH OUT!"

Sonic turned only to be met with a laser blast from the robots eyes, then he was grabbed by the foot with a chain, slammed into the ground, stomped on while something attached to him, as the foot lifted the hero was thrown into the air, the attached object then fired up and shot him toward Destructor. The robot then batted him away with its head.

Silver was able to get out of the way in time, he recognized what was happening. The robot had placed a fake image of itself and then attacked from behind. Something it did when he was fighting it alone. Yet… it still got him. He dodged the lasers its tail suddenly swung and smacked him away then grabbed him and smashed him into the ground. Silver then shot off under it before it stomped on him with Sonic right under its foot. The grey hedgehog then flew up and around to its back and landed on it. He growled, the crack was gone. "So much for that." He thought. He looked up just in time to see it smash Sonic away with its head. Silver lifted his hand and pulled the hero away just before a laser blasted out of its mouth.

Sonic blinked and groaned "What… the…"

"False image trick. Don't stop now! It knows we're on its back!" Silver then blasted off leaving Sonic alone in shock.

The hedgehog then turned to see Destructor… its head completely turned around and staring right at him! The hero yelped and flew off just as its laser eyes fired. Sonic flew right next to who was looking harshly at the giant mechanism. "You're going into Destructor mode."

"MOVE YOU TWO!" The hedgehogs turn and dodged to the side as Shadow and Knuckles came flying in. The two smashed into the giant creating a loud bang and the ground beneath to shatter to pieces. Destructor did not budge but only reared its head and roared. Chains shot out of its neck, grabbed Shadow by the foot, and slammed him into the ground all the while it threw its tail at Knuckles, slapped him away, fired a missile, and exploded the echidna out of the air.

Silver lifted both of his arms and yanked them back. The two that charged were then yanked away and toward Silver and Sonic. "Follow!" Silver blasted off. Sonic followed and after a moment of hesitation Shadow and Knuckles pursued. As they flew around Destructor the robot slowly turned its head to follow them. "We cannot just attack it one at a time like this! That's to its advantage! Have to keep attacking and bombarding it like crazy!"

Shadow growled "That's not practical!"

"That's a massive robot designed to be indestructible and destroyer of everything of which is being powered by the Master Emerald! The Master Emerald that is more powerful than the seven chaos emeralds! While we're just three hedgehogs and an echidna with the power of the seven chaos emeralds! GOT ANY BETTER IDEAS!?"

Shadow grew silent, but Knuckles on the other hand "IF TAILS WAS ON OUR SIDE? HOW COME HE'S NOT TELLING US A WEAKNESS!?"

Sonic flew right at him in anger "WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP! FIRST OF ALL TAILS IS JUST A KID WHO HAS GONE THROUGH ENOUGH OF EVERONE'S SPITE! AND SECONDLY- WHAT WEAKNESS?! HE MADE THAT TO HAVE NO WAEKNESS!"

Knuckles blinked. Silver dove up "Slam it in the same area! That should do something!"

Sonic pointed at a spot "Okay- one, two, THREE!" The four stopped circling and beamed right at the robot.

The gigantic monstrosity realized what they were about to do too late. The four crashed into its side causing even the air to shake in their might. Their enemy roared as it was throw in the air and flipped onto its side. Silver flew over it as the giant began flinging its legs up and down angrily. Sonic crossed his arms and mocked "Awww. It mister turtle stuck? Poor mister turtle."

The robot suddenly stiffened and glared at them. Silver was the first to stop smiling "Uh… guys. I think something bad is about to hap-."

The legs of the robot took off and slammed into each of them. One left Sonic dazed and immediately went for Silver where the pair of legs then batted the grey hedgehog back and forth so quickly and fiercely that the futuristic hedgehog could do nothing about it. The leg that hit Shadow continued on into the sky while Knuckles was smashed into the ground and repeatedly stomped on. Sonic spun around and watched this in shock.

"Hold on guys I'll-!" He stopped and his eyes widened. There was a very… angry… growl… right behind him. He slowly turned to see the giant head of his enemy glowering at him, its torso just floating in midair. Its entire face covered in shadow with only its giant blue eyes showing through the darkness really intimidated the hero. Before he could react to the sight the robot roared and lurched at him. Its head collided with the shocked blue blur smashing him into a mountain, and there he continued until he exploded out the other side and crashed onto the ground. Sitting up he couched "Ok… that hurt."

The four legs then came flying back after smashing their victims one final time and the robot landed to tear through the mountain after its intended prey.

Sonic looked up to see the mountain come tumbling down like some sort of deconstruction building against a bulldozer. Sonic leapt up to the sky in the nick of time. Its head smashed into the ground where he was but its tails whip at the hero slamming him away.

Shadow came zooming down and bounded off the back of the robot, Knuckles plowed out of the ground and struck its stomach, and Silver grabbed two giant pieces of crumbled mountain and smashed those into the mech. Sonic leapt up to follow suit.

Each time they struck Destructor it striked back throwing them off or pulling them in to perform more where they needed to be saved from more assault. It was not till a red firey blur came in and basically slapped its face. The robot's head jerked to the side and staggered away. Blaze then pointed at the four super formed heroes "Listen, Tails told me some things that should help."

On the Ground With The Babylon Rouges

Jet slid to the side and looked around at their army that began to regroup "What the heck can this army do against that thing?"

Ralph put down Amy and Cream "Nothing, but we have to try something. Once that thing is done here it will come to our world to do the same. We're the only ones between it and our world. I'm not going to just let it win."

"As if you have a choice."

"Huh?"

Ralph got slammed and thrown to the floor as Alpha One lands on the ground "You will not be able to defeat Destructor. He is undefeatable. Invincible. You have no hope now."

"Cease and desist your infernal blathering and fight."

Alpha One turned around to see Anonymous standing with his arms behind his back "You dare speak to me like that!?"

"I shall not repeat myself, appliance."

"Why you little-." The robot was then blown away by a strange explosion and Anonymous charged.

Ralph jumped to his feet "Hey, let me help!"

"You shall not." Ralph was thrown off again and Phi landed on the ground "You and I shall have a rematch, dog!"

Ralph pushed himself up with difficulty. He was beginning to loose consciousness. His suit is not as strong as it use to be and what Tails did with the breathing only helped with the breathing.

"OI!" Phi was blasted away as Lee, Alber, Nike, and Deen tackled him together. "Let's go ya tea kettle."

Phi growled and threw them off "DON'T CALL ME A TEA KETTLE!"

Alpha One threw a punch at Anonymous but a force field suddenly blared up and bounced it off. The terrorist then jumped up and attached a bomb on the robot's back. The man then slid under his feet and detonated the bomb.

Alpha One staggered forward only to be kicked in the face by his enemy who spun around the next fist and detonated two bombs on the robot's feet flipping it on its back. Alpha One leapt up with an angry snarl and grabbed Anonymous. The terrorist then pulled out two needles and jabbed them at Alpha One's wrist causing him to let go and write in pain.

Phi grabbed Lee and was about to punch him when the other three surrounded him and placed bombs all over him as they worked together by throwing him off balance by one kicked one leg, another kicking the other, and the third slamming his chest. Phi went flying to the ground and the bombs exploded. He tried to get up only to be stomped on by all four of them. He beeped and zoomed out from under their feet.

Anonymous was just about to throw another explosive when his force field blasted and threw him off his feet. Alpha One blasted past him and at the four agents while Phi stood above him and crossed his arms "Shall we finish our fight, terrorist?"

Alpha One grabbed two of the agents and slammed them together while kicking the other two aside "You four are no match for me."

"Don't forget us!"

Alpha One turned to get a needle in the face. He reeled back and dropped the agents in his hands and three blurs zoomed by. The Rouges began loading their weapons and turned to attack "Wave-legs. Storm- chest with me! FIRE!"

The three began firing their weapons at him. Alpha one lifted an arm to stop the chest shots but the legs were beraded. The robot fell to his knees and growled. He grabbed Alber by the leg and threw her at the birds. Storm got hit and fell off while Jet and Wave got out of the way. Alpha One then fired his fists and grabbed each board and pulled tripping the two birds off their rides. They rolled on the ground before trying to get up.

The robot then felt rocks begin to pelt him in the back of the head. He turned to see Marine and her Coconut Crew throwing rocks at him again. He charged at them but something grabbed his foot and threw him away from them. Ralph limped toward him "Oh no you don't, tin-bot." Alpha One jumped at the dog and tackled him.

Phi grabbed and kicked the terrorist away "I know you're secret. I can destroy you with ease terrorist, and I am going to find out what you look like under that hideous mask!" Anonymous rolled up onto his feet and raised his fists with no remarks. Phi growled "SAY SOMETHING!" He charged and threw a fist.

Anonymous ducked and the fist went soaring above him. The terrorist then lifted both hands and smashed under the chin. Phi staggered back and grabbed his chin. There was something there- it then exploded sending him staggering back even more.

Anonymous raised his fists again "Socialization has no place in battle."

Phi zoomed off and then back. He threw another punch and just as his fist was nearing the force field suddenly began to form. Phi barely had time to get out of the way before the shield cut off his fist, but that left Anonymous unscathed.

Phi crashed into the ground and rolled over onto his feet. The terrorist turned to look at him "I've made my scanners more sensitive. It is looking for slower speeds at farther distances. By the time you reach the speed of one-hundredth of light my field will already be going up. That tactic won't work now."

Phi stormed at him "I don't need such speed to beat you!" He attacked. At first Anonymous was able to throw off his attacks but Phi then grabbed him and lifted him in the air "See! Now you will die!" Claws shot out from Phi's fingers and he lifted it back.

"You should have realized that you grabbed me with more ease than what should have been possible." Phi stopped "Now you are mine." Anonymous tapped his arm and his shield came blaring up. Phi's arm sizzled and fell off causing the robot to step back screaming in shock. Anonymous then suddenly pulled out something from his back and threw it at Phi. It landed and the shield suddenly fired up again. Phi tried pressing against it but it would not budge. "Since your power is greater than mine, that shield will be stronger than with me." Anonymous then pinched a section of his arm "Making it your own compactor grave." The shield began to shrink in size and Phi tried pushing back. He then began to get crushed and he screamed out in apparent agony as he became smaller and smaller until he was nothing but a perfectly round ball of scrap. Anonymous turned off the shield and let the ball crash into the ground "Good riddance."

Alpha One threw Ralph into some rocks and kneed him before punching him face first into the ground. Alber and Lee kicked the robot in the head while Nike and Deen threw small devices on him. Alpha One turned and grabbed Alber and Lee and threw them at the other two. They collided and fell onto the ground. There was a burst of energy and Alpha One began to get electrocuted by the devices all the while Jet and his group got up and began to fire at him as best as they could.

Alpha One spun around in a tornado blur and fired a laser from his eyes. The Rouges dove and dodged allowing the robot time to grab Jet by the throat "You are relieved hawk!"

"Enough." Anonymous rammed his shoulder against him. Alpha One staggered forward but turned with Jet still in his hand "You're not strong enough to destroy me terrorist. I knew we should have never trusted you."

Anonymous leapt at him and grabbed his arm along with the four agents and Storm. The robot lifted Jet away from them and watched on in surprise "You idiots. What did you hope to gain from that?" Alpha One then spun in shock. Ralph was prying his fingers off Jet and got him out. The robot howled in rage and his fists shot out striking Ralph and throwing the six attackers to the ground. "YOU WILL NOT BEAT ME! NOT AGAIN! NOT EVER!"

"HEY TALK-A-LOT!" He spun around to glare at the one shouting. He was met with two guns pointed at his face by Wave who fired and struck both his eyes.

The needles penetrated and blinded the robot causing him to stager back. He grabbed his face in an attempt to get the needles out leaving him vulnerable. Anonymous threw multiple devices on the front of the foe while the other five leapt up and smashed into his back. Alpha One was flung onto his stomach, more thanks to the help of Storm probably, and then the devices went off. They fired up like a rocket and tore through the sky. Everyone watched as the robot got farther and farther until he was out of sight. Then a giant explosion shook throughout the sky.

Ralph limped over to Anonymous and looked around "As much as I love watching fireworks after a successful battle, why didn't your men help us! We were getting totaled!"

Anonymous looked at him "Why should they try and help us when they knew we could take care of them ourselves while there was a bigger issue to deal with? We still have a giant robot to take care of Ralph and they need to look for a weakness."

The dog paused before nodding "Good point. However, AMY WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP?"

Amy was hiding behind a tree with Cream. She smiled sheepishly and waved "I uh, well… I thought you could handle it on your own."

"More like you don't want to fight Alpha One again."

"Dang it!" The group turned to see Wave taking her board out of the grip of Marine who was apparently trying to fix it. The board was completely crushed on the end Alpha One grabbed it "Totally busted!"

Jet took his from a nearby mouse kid of which looked just like Wave's "Man, we can't be of much help without our boards. Storm?"

Storm picked his up off the ground "Mine still good, boss."

Anonymous pointed at the board "Give that to Wave."

Wave stiffened and looked at the terrorist "ME!?"

"Yes you. You're the third best mechanic in this area. Eggman is off with Metal Sonic trying to get a weapon on the Egg Carrier to start up so he's busy and Tails is probably scoping the giant robot. We need your expertise to try and find a weakness, and though you might hate this, you need to work with Tails."

"WHAT?" Wave threw her board on the ground "HECK NO! I WOULD RATHER BE HERE FIXING MY BOARD!"

"Tails built the thing himself, he knows how it functions. However, since he built it to be the best on his own bias that means that he will never find the answer; he will only search for the weaknesses he would have already covered in the robot. That will not work so he needs a second mind that is not his own to search for something he overlooked." Wave tried to speak but tripped over her words making it inaudible. "I better here a 'yes sir' or see you fly off in the next minute."

Wave tensed up "Why can't you go! You sound just as much of a genius."

"After this battle my equipment is low and damaged, including my armor. It is running on auxiliary power, forcing my suit to keep only certain things active. My super speed is now gone. I will nott be able to keep up with Tails and the robot, but you can on Storm's board. Wave, our world is at stake. Sacrifices need to be made."

Wave moaned and her stubborn, angry expression melted into one of sadness and defeat "Ohhh… fine! Give me that!" Storm flinched and tossed it quickly. Wave caught it and leapt up to blast off into the fray against Destructor.

Jet looked at Anonymous "I'm sure she'll be fine. She is the second best rider in the team."

Ralph scoffed "Second?"

"I'm the best of course!" Jet smiled smugly with crossed arms.

Anonymous grabbed Ralph and placed him on a rock "Marine. This commander needs attention. Do you mind helping me patch up his armor?"

Marine blinked in shock but leapt up in joy "I'd be happier than a bunch a monkees in a banana coop. Let's get em boys!" The whole Coconut Crew rushed over to Ralph to see what they can do.

Ralph looked at his old comrades almost pleadingly "I'm not sure I liked the sound of that."

Lee and Nike began giggling while Alber just shook her head. She turned and pointed at Amy, Cream, and Cheese "HEY! GET DOWN HERE AND HELP US GET SOME METAL FOR THESE GUYS!"

With Destructor And The Five In Their Super Forms

Blaze yelled as she was smashed into the ground and before a foot could pound her further she fired off into the sky. They have been attacking this thing for what felt like hours. Not only were they doing no apparent damage to it but it was performing very apparent damage to the team and her world. This only rills her up. She cried out and fired a blast right at its eye but it only fired a laser back in return. The two beams connected and their battle for supremacy to see which beam will hit who. It was even at first but suddenly a chain came flying out and smacked Blaze. Its laser then flew forward and blasted the cat away.

The princess landed harshly on the ground in a heap her ears right against her skull as she feebly pushed herself up to her knees. She was so weak and there was absolutely no chance for a break sometimes. They used the tactic of resting on its back but since it wore them out so quickly and fast those defenses Tails mentioned kicked on. Giant guns came pointing out and blasted at them. Knuckles did try going underneath it to confuse it but it then spouted tentacles that grabbed him and start electrocuting the echidna. Knuckles was trying to break out of its grip right now. He tugged and pulled as he fought it with all his might, but it was as if there was no point.

Of course they used Sonic as bait so many times. They kept getting close to cities and caves that could have people that Sonic would have to get its attention then fly off. Though targeted the most and attacked the most that hedgehog was still fighting strong and hard. He was the fastest thing alive and that would help considering the endurance needed to be that. The only two doing the best right now was Shadow and Silver. Shadow, being just as fast as Sonic, was flying around blasting it with everything he's got. However, the person doing the best was Silver. He was dodging so many attacks, tried to tell the others what was coming next and what to watch out for. He had so much experience at fighting it that the others tried dutifully to listen, but there was so much to know that it was impossible to recognize what the next move would be until it was too late.

Blaze jumped up and flew at Knuckles to get him loose. She was right next to him and grabbed the tentacles "I'll get you out!"

Suddenly the monster made a strange noise. It whirred and it lifted its head high. Just as the whirr grew its strongest it stopped with a strange bang and the robot flew its head down and roared.

Blaze was confused to its actions but then she heard a shout and looked down. Tails was flying with his tails waving his arms frantically "IT JUST DOWNLOADED SOMETHING NEW! WATCHOUT!"

The electrocution of Knuckles stopped and Blaze felt something was wrong. She blasted back just as pulses of energy instead of hitting Knuckles the energy was coming from him. Blaze and the others watched in horror as Knuckles screamed in pain as the golden hue began traveling up the tentacles and into its shell. With one final pulse Knuckles went limp and his super form… disappeared!? He was just normal now!

The tentacles threw him away and he landed on the ground in a heap. Silver looked terrified "It can do that? When could it do that?"

"Silver!" Blaze shouted too late.

The hedgehog turned to be met with its tail that opened its pointed end and grabbed him. Sonic and Shadow recovered from their shock faster and dodged chains trying to grab them. Silver tried to desperately get free but he began moaning in pain as his chaos energy began to get drained until he was limp and normal again. He was then tossed to the side.

Shadow and Sonic rammed into its side. Shadow flew over the top only to be hit with a strange blast. He lost control of his flight and began to roll around. He regained control and just as its tail claw was about to get him he shouted "CHAOS CONTROL!" And teleported away.

He appeared right next to its head ready to attack only to have both arms, both legs, and his neck to be wrapped in chains. The hedgehog's eyes widened in shock just before it began to drain his powers away from him. He left his super form and was tossed aside. Sonic caught Shadow and dropped him safely to the ground. He turned to be met with it tail coming right at him. He was about to be grabbed but then Blaze rammed him out of the way and was grabbed herself. The pulse of energy began and Blaze could feel the strange vibrations trying to soak in her powers… but nothing was happening. Confused the cat tried to break free.

Destructor noticed something was wrong and turned to look at her and ceased its attack on Sonic. The hero paused and turned to watch Blaze. He smiled when he saw it had no affect on her "Great. I'LL GET YOU OUT BLA-!"

The tail slammed the princess into the ground, let her go then smashed its foot on top of her, lifted, then smashed down on top of her once more. Sonic left his mouth open in shock but had to quickly snap back as the robot slowly turned to him next.

Blaze's whole world slowed down as it spun in a drunken haze. She was pounded the first time it was directly on her legs and back. She looked up, her vision blurry, but she could still see Tails and Wave right there staring at her in horror. As the foot lifted the cat tried to get up but the foot smashed down the second time right on her head and body. The only thing visible of her now was her arm. It went ridged and then it fell down limp. The foot rose again and Blaze the cat could be seen unconscious and her super form fading away.

Sonic felt panic rise up in his system. He was the only one left, but he was so tired that he felt he needed rest, but he could not just give up now. He charged and struck its chest. The thing lifted off the ground onto its hind legs. Sonic thought that was because he hit it really hard, but in reality… it wanted to do this. It slammed its front legs together onto the hero. It then slowly pried them away with a strange electric field trapping Sonic. The hedgehog tried to fight it and was slowly moving away. He looked up to see the robot lift its head high and golden light appearing in its mouth. He then knew what was happening. All that energy it just took from Silver, Shadow, and Knuckles was being transported to its mouth and now about to be mixed with the Master Emerald. The green emerald then could be seen as it began feeding its energy into the golden hue. Sonic began to fight harder. That blast would be almost thirteen times stronger than his own super form. He probably will not make it if that hit him and he could not teleport for some reason.

Now he was at the edge of the shield and he was about to get out. Then Destructor fired the green and yellow blast. Sonic screamed in pain as he was sent flying and smashing into the ground. Destructor never stopped never slowed. It just continued to fire. The golden hue then slowly began to fade and once it stopped coming out Destructor stopped its attack to glare at the crater it made from Sonic.

The hedgehog laid their barley awake and barley alive. His eyes were shut and he could feel his super form failing as his energy began fading in and out just like his consciousness. He only opened his eyes when he felt someone lift his head. It was Tails, his face covered in tears as he began to shake Sonic vigorously, mumbling out words. Sonic took a raspy breath "B-buddy? S-sorry… b-bro… I… I can't… can't…"

He could hear Tails now in an echoy voice. "Just hold on… Just hold on!"

Sonic grabbed Tails' shoulder "I know you said… you don't trust yourself… but…" He did not finish. He let his energy go and it began to flow like water out of his body and right into Tails. The fox realized what he was doing and tried to get out of his grip "Sonic- SONIC NO!"

The hero could feel his consciousness grow weaker as the energy left. He continued though "… but I can't stop it… you have to… T-Tai-…ssss." The hero let go and fell to the ground.

Tails kneeled above him now in super form. He looked at his glowing hands then at Sonic. The hero that was now… dead?... No, no not possible… yet he could not be unconscious like last time after the fight with Destructor… this time he really was… NO. Sonic was going to live!

Tails raised a fist and slammed it into Sonic. A round of chaos energy pulsed into the hero once it made contact. Sonic then coughed and took a deep breath but remained unconscious. Tails sighed in relief but tensed when a roar and a stomp was right behind him. He turned with tears in his eyes and stood tall and glared at his deadly creation "You're not going near him. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO KILL HIM!" It glared right down at its master and hissed. Tails narrowed his eyes and took a step back in ready as he took off his coat and tossed it to the ground "Now you're going to fight ME!"

Sorry this chapter was way late. I had so much difficulty with this. In this writer's block I had to try and find ways to make Destructor tougher and stronger without taking away the experience of the story. I'm not sure if I did that here though.
