Finn

Loud voices awoke me, they were all around the icebox. How long was I out? I heard footsteps approach the icebox before one of the doors opened. Light streamed in and I flinched violently. Figures loomed over the entrance and stared, I couldn't see them and blinked.

"We found him!" one of the guys shouted before burning hands gripped me.

They pulled me out and I shivered. My limbs were stiff and one of the guys placed his hand on my shoulder as I stretched out. I kept my hands under my armpits to stay warm. I saw that there was a police car and a few other vehicles. I could hear mum and Alex somewhere around me. I blinked and fought the urge to chatter my teeth, didn't work. See, when my teeth chatter, it's extremely loud. I was shivering violently and I knew the others were noticing it. A thick blanket was placed around my shoulders in an attempt to keep me warm. When that didn't work, I was sandwiched between two of the men who rescued me. They were really warm.

"T-Thanks-s." my voice broke as I shivered, the two men nodded.

"It's a nice first impression to the town." the giant to my right muttered, I laughed weakly and shook my head.

"How did you get trapped?" the other giant asked, I groaned.

"I was trying to get ice, there weren't many bags so I was leaning in. I was just using my weight to balance before snagging a bag. It offset my balance and I fell in. I tried to get out, and well you know the rest." laughter from the two men shook me as I scowled.

"I'm Embry by the way, and that's Quil." Embry was the giant to my right and Quil was the one to the left.

"Finn." I smiled and they nodded before I was slowly warm enough.

They both helped me stand to make sure I was really okay before taking a step away from me. Mum and Alex were watching me before mum waved me over. I excused myself before quickly walking over with my head down. I stared at my feet and waited for her to smack some sense into me or something. What I didn't expect was her arms wrapping around me tightly and she whispered that she was so worried about me. I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head on her shoulder as Alex rubbed my back.

"Sorry Mum." I muttered, she shook her head and held me away so she could look at me.

"There's nothing to be sorry about, hon. We were just worried." her eyes showed her relief that flooded her.

"Are we going to drive to the house or what?" my question hung in the air while mum thought about it.

"Alex and I wanted to check it up first. Do you want to go with your new pals for a while?" her suggestion made me grin, I nodded and kissed her check.

"Don't forget your phone, bird." Alex handed my phone and gave me a 'bro hug' before getting into the truck with mum. I turned back with my new friends with a giant grin.

"So, now what?" Embry and Quil smirked before they grabbed my wrist and dragged me off.
