Kagome rushed off the plane with her luggage, of course she had to be ungraceful and fell. She could just fill him sign behind her "I'm ok" She jumped up, through her luggage in the limo and started to put his in when he grabbed her hand.

"Owe!"

He looked at her "Your bleeding"

"It's just a scratch"

"Your other hand"

"I am fine, really"

"Other hand" He was demanding it,

So like a child she gave up her other hand "Both are bleeding"

"I said I am fine"

"Have I done something to you miko to warrant such treatment from you?"

"Hu, what are you talking about"

"The day I hired you on you acted as nothing had changed, you where Kagome, follower of my little brother, daughter in law to my father and yet, you are acting strange"

She snatched her hands away "I'm not Kaugra if that is what your getting at, and I am far from being your dads daughter in law, Kikyo will have that part"

"I never said anything about Kouga woman"

Kagome shut the trunk "I am just trying to be what you want me to be"

"And what do you think that is, miko?"

"Your assistant, you don't want me to be your sister, or your friend, and you don't want me to be Kagura that's for sure"

"You call this being my assistant"

They got in the limo "Why don't you tell me what I am doing wrong, as I said before, I am only human and as you can see I do bleed when I fall down"

He grabbed her hands again and looked at it,

"I always wondered why my father, my brother, why they were attracted to human blood"

She swallowed hard "Um"

He raised her hand to his nose and she froze "What are you-

Then he licked her hand and it took every single once in her being not to turned 7 shades of red. Sesshomaru closed his eyes.

"Your not going to do that every time I bleed, are you?"

He opened his eyes "Do you bleed alot"

Ok that time she did blush,

"Many women would give up their last breath just for touch from me, much less a lick"

She slowly pulled away "I'm not other woman"

Yes, yes she was and if he didn't stop she would be fired, for sure.

He smirked "No, no indeed not, Kagome"

The drive was a little longer and Kagome kept her hands closed tight within her knees, she hopped they would arrive soon because she was well aware her knees were bleeding, god how stupid could one be?

"Something wrong miko"

"I wish I would have mapped out the car ride"

"Something important you need to do other than tending to me"

"I wanna get out of these clothes"

He eyes her with a side smirk,

"I so did not mean it like that stop looking at me like that"

"Now that is the Kagome wench I know"

"Don't call me wench!" She hissed and he smirked more, he was wondering when she was going to drop her stupid little worker act.

"When we are alone miko, you can relax and be more yourself, only in public, during work will you act like my assistant"

She bit her lip, she knew that was a bad idea, but he was noticing things, she knew it.

"I don't think that's a good idea"

"Why is that" He rolled down the window and Kagome could smell sweet sea air,

"What if, I mean, what If, you know, I turned out like Kagura?"

He quickly looked at her and she through her hands up "It's just a crazy what if"

"You will not turn out like her, I will not allow it"

Again he was rejecting her and he didn't even know it.

"Why would you, you are used to me, my family, my position"

"I duno, I just don't want to cross that line, I mean, yeah I am used to your family and all, but Iv never been around you this much, I mean, what If I fall pray to your weird ungodly demon charm that you seem to have on woman"

He smirked and looked out the window again "If you have not fallen yet miko, you wont"

When she said nothing he looked at her, she was biting her lip and looking down at her hands, her silence spoke words, perhaps she was right "Do as you please miko" He said in almost a cold tone.

She sighed, it was decided, she would be his assistant at all times, while she worked for him there would be no outside relationship of any kind.
