Your words in my head, knives in my heart
The next morning she slept in, she didn't mean to, really and Sesshomaru entered without so much as a knock.
"What tha, I could have been naked!"
"As if I would look at you miko, get up, your late"
"What is the rush, cant you get by, by yourself?"
"The media is here"
"Oh, so can we hide in doors today?" She was hopeful.
"No, get dressed we will address this"
"Why we" She asked confused.
"Because you are my assistant"
"But that really is a family matter, I'm not family"
"And is for that reason that if you dis obey me again I will fire you, get dressed I am annoyed as it is" He slammed the door on her.
It was already happening, they would treat her different.
Kagome dressed back in her white dress and swimsuit, fuck it, she was getting sun today.
She opened the door only to meet his face "Change"
"Why"
"Because I said, we are not going on an outing woman"
"We should" She stated calmly as if he had not just snapped at her.
"What"
"I said, we should, we should get away from this, why not see more than just the hotel, dont your ever get bored?"
"Why do you say we, miko?"
"Because you're the boss and I go were you go, so that makes us, we?"
He eyed her, grabbed her wrist and pulled her along. Her heat skipped again as he dragged her down but it was no use, the media was waiting and he quickly let her go.
"Lord Sesshomaru, a word about your brother!" They called out,
"Kagome how do you feel, will the family still let you in" Someone else called out,
"Lord Sesshomaru do you have feelings for Kagome now that your brother is getting married?"
That one got him,
"Do not ask foolish questions least I remove your mouth"
Kagome bit her lip, there it was again, him cutting her down,
"Miss Kagome, you dont look happy about that, how do you feel?"
"Um,-
"We have work to do, remove yourself or I will sue" Sesshomaru stated, he walked off and Kagome followed.
"Find a boat" He demanded,
"A boat?"
"Are you hard of hearing as well as everything else woman?"
"Why are you being mean?"
"Why are you here?" He asked,
"What?"
"You are here because I took pity on you, now do as I say" He snapped.
Why was he so mad at her, what did she do?
Kagome did as she was told and rented a boat with no driver, Sesshomaru didn't want anyone along for the ride. Kagome would get her sun light, but not in the way she wanted.
She sat on the boat as he started it and rested while he drove at high speeds. The wind in her air was nice, she closed her eyes, soaked the moment up, well, in till her phone ran.
"Your brought your phone"
"Didn't you?" She didn't recall him saying no phones.
He glared at her as he slowed the boat.
"It's Inuyasha" She picked up "Hello-
Sesshomaru took the phone and tossed it out into the water and she stood "What the hell Sesshomaru"
Then he back-handed her,
and all went silent.
"Your fired" He told her stern,
He want back to the wheel and started driving again. Kagome sat down in pure sock, her hand stayed on her face, he hit her. Tears welled up on her eyes, now she really wanted to go home. What had she done, what!
"I hate you" She whispered and the boat slammed to a stop,
"Say again miko"
She stood again and removed her hand "I can't believe I ever agreed to this, I can't believe I was trying to be helpful, dont you ever touch me again, ever! I hate you, I can't believe I fell for this, for you, God if women knew how you really were none of them would like you!" She screamed,
He stood angry, damn his brother and damn his father and now damn her. He wanted to be left alone, he wanted Inuyasha to stop being stupid and he wanted her to be her, he wanted to have no real connection to her, but he knew, even when he hired her, that there was no way that would happen, she had been connected since day one.
He could not have her by his side.
Kagome looked away under his gaze and saw a small Island, she needed off this boat, she needed to be away from him. So she jumped into the cool water and started swimming, at this point she didn't care if he did leave her behind.
