I can hold the weight of worlds
Like she promised herself, she slept in and like she knew he would he came but this time he knocked, odd.
She ignored him and he knocked again, she ignored and this time he came in.
She didn't dare move but he knew she was awake, she was just doing this to piss him off "We will miss our plane"
"The books were blank" She said not moving, but her face was red, her butt was sticking out and he was just talking to her as if nothing was going on.
"We are going home" He felt her energy spike, she was happy,
"Go away" She stated "I'll get up soon"
But Sesshomaru was not a waiting man either, so he walked up to her bed and slapped said ass, and hard.
She yelled and the fell out of the bed.
When she sat up on the floor and looked at him, he stood with crossed arms and a blank face.
"That hurt!" She yelled,
"Indeed, now get up, I wish to rid myself of you today" He turned and she threw a pillow at him, a lot of good that did.
Kagome did not fidget or complain as they got on the plane, she long ago figured that if something were to happen he would save her, she hoped.
So she entered the damn thing in sweat pants and a Tshirt, and her hair was in a messy bun and she had sun glasses on "Lets get this show on the road!" She sat away from him, put her feet up and the ear phones in her ears.
Sesshomaru thought this would be a nice ride back, but he was oh so wrong.
About half way through the flight Kagome yanked the ear phones out and took off her glasses "Sesshomaru"
He stood next to her "Calm down" He felt her heart spike,
They both felt it, something.
Sesshomaru dialed his fathers number,
"Sesshomaru?"
"We wont make it to japan tonight"
"Why?" His father asked concerned,
"Naraku" Was all he had to say,
"Where is Kagome?" His father demanded,
"Next to me"
"Protect her" It was not a request.
Sesshomaru snapped the phone closed and looked at her "Do you trust me?"
Her heat was starting to race "Maybe"
"This plane is going down"
Kagome stood "Wait, what!"
"Calm down"
"How the hell can you tell me to calm down!" Did he not hear what just came out of his own damn mouth?
"I do not have time, come"
He grabbed her hand and pulled her to the front of the plane and he kick in the door to the pilot, lucky for him he was demon to "Get the attended, we are going to go down"
"Maybe I can lose him master?"
"No, go"
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome begged,
He the drug her to the plane door "Listen to me woman"
At this point she was in tears,
"We are jumping"
"No" She begged,
"I will have to free fall with you till we reach a point, otherwise your lungs will collapse"
"Sesshomaru I can't, I'm scared!"
"Do you not trust me to protect you?"
"Not with my fears"
That stung to him, she didn't trust him, hell, everyone trusted him, well, sorta of.
Sesshomaru tugged her close so that her body was pressed up against his "It will seem like forever, but the free fall will only last 60 seconds, then we will fly"
She was pushing against him "I can't, I can't!"
But then, Naraku hit, and she didn't have a choice, the back of the plane went missing and Sesshomaru grabbed Kagome's face and pressed his lips to hers as he fell back.
It was the only way he could think of to keep her from screaming, crying, to keep her from not being able to breathe as air rushed past them at a high rate of speed. His father made no mistake, Kagome was to be protected.
So for 60 seconds his lips covered her and he was not letting her go. His tight hands became relaxed as his tongue took over hers and he could tell she was so confused and so thrown off, that she was in fact, calm.
Slowly as they reached the height that was safe, he pulled back and looked at her. Her face was red and she had tears in her eyes, she was no longer holding on for dear life, then he took off, and she held on and dug her face into his neck and she would not look up again in till they hit ground.
But instead of the weight begin lifted, they both felt like the boulders on their shoulders got heavier.
