Be your everything

The wedding was going to happen no matter what but Sesshomaru refused to have any part of it. But it was like Inuyasha said, Kagome was a good little machine, so on the wedding day a few days later, it was no shocker that she showed up.

Sesshomaru sat in the black limo when she pulled up. His father said he had to go, but he didn't say he had to go in. She got out alone, or so he thought, a few moments a boy joined her, one he only knew as Hojo.

Surly she was not dating him.

Sesshomaru followed them in, but not because he cared, but because he didn't want people thinking he was being a baby. The wedding was over the top as he knew it would be and Kagome shifted next to her date the whole time, telling Sesshomaru that she was not at all ok, really.

Sesshomaru didn't care that Inuyasha was getting married before him, but he was pissed that he was having a baby before him, but those things kinda go hand in hand, he should have known.

Kagome watched as Inuyasha smiled and ran out hand in hand with Kikyo, and Kagome had a real smile on her face about it though, she was happy for them, perhaps she was over the half breed?

Hojo looked at Kahome "You want to get married?"

"What?" She asked shocked and taken back,

Hojo smiled "I can be that, him, for you, your everything, really I can"

Sesshomaru wanted to smack the boy and save him the trouble, he was two seats behind them.

"Hojo" Said sweetly and Sesshomaru really hoped the damn girl was not about to make a mistake, that boy could do nothing for her, he was a boy, Kagome would never be happy with him.

"Think about, it, you don't have to tell me now"

Kagome gave a half smile "Ok, I'll think about it"

That was enough for Sesshomaru, how dare the idiot mess with his side hand like that, they had work to do, even if she did quit.

Sesshomaru stood and made his way to them "We leave in the morning"

"I'll be outside" Hojo told her and Sesshomaru eyed him as he walked off.

"I quit remember"

"As if I would allow that"

"Um you don't have a choice"

"We are going to New York again"

"No, we are not"

"To the State building thing you wish to see"

She narrowed her eyes "I hate you right now, and I'm not ready to fly again thank you"

"We will take a train, a limo, whatever, there is more ways to get there"

"Fine, but no more game Sesshomaru"

"I do not play games" He stated as he followed her out "Right" She said.

"Are you really dating that, boy"

"He is the same age as me"

"He is still a boy, you know good and well you will not be happy with him"

She stopped "And since when do you have so much say in my love life?"

"You do not have a love life"

"God, really" She could not believe him,

"He is not what you want"

"Oh, and you know what I want?"

"Indeed"

Kagome rolled her eyes "There you go being vain again, do you get a thrill out of this?"

"I do not get thrilled woman"

"I'm going to go now, I'll be at your dads at 6am, is that ok?"

"Tonight" He opened the door to her car, Hojo was already in.

"Why tonight" She got in,

"Because I do not wish to come into your mother's home to smack your ass awake" He the shut the door and Hojo looked up wide-eyed.

Kagome flipped him off and drove off, but she would be a good little girl and show up at his dads a few hours later, and she would still be flipping him off.
