But I'm only human
And I bleed when I fall down
Kagome did odd things the next day, filed some paper work, made a meeting time for Sesshomaru and the head of the hotel. She got info and data from the hotel and left it on his desk, over all she had a light load of work.
But true to his word once dinner came, she was alone. She walked into the bar/restaurant a different one then last time. It had an old western style bar with an elegant glam to it, red velvet seats and black tables and off to the side a beautiful black piano and tonight was her lucky night, someone was playing.
She spotted Sesshomaru at the bar and walked up "Hey"
He turned to her "I do not recall needing you right now"
"Oh, yeah no, I just came in to eat"
A pretty blond demon looked over "Is this your right hand woman Sesshomaru?"
Kagome blushed, not understanding it was meant as an insult,
"Go eat" He told her, Kagome eyed the two and it hit her, he was on date!
"Oh yeah, sorry" She quickly rushed away and was seated at a table near a window, near the piano man.
Kagome tried not to look over, so she settled on looking out the window. It started to storm so she watched the rain go down the window and listen to the music as the man played.
While she ate she drank red wine and in the middle of her dinner the piano man asked if she wanted to hear anything "Um, could you play human"
"Oh course"
It was a beautiful song and even better on straight piano.
Sesshomaru kept an eye on her, just to make sure she was ok. She seemed to be ignoring him, not at all bothered that he was with another woman. He watched when the piano man asked her something and he watched as she spoke back.
The man started to play a song, one he had not heard but it was beautiful.
"Let dance, shall we?" The woman asked him. Normally he would decline, but for some reason, this time, he didn't. So they joined a few other people on the small dance floor for a slow dance.
That's when he felt her mood change and after a few moments she got up, thanked the waiter and was making her way out. Sesshomaru stopped her "Do you know this song"
She didn't look at him "It's called human"
She then walked away, and he stopped dancing.
