A/N: Hello again!

After talking with Ace and the rest, something important lingers in Luffy's mind. Unfortunately, the subject of which is not exactly his forte, so what will he do about it? Find out now!

I do not own One Piece, It belongs to Eiichiro Oda

After some more talking with the guests and some of his other invitees like Trafalgar Law with the Heart Pirates and Nefeltari Vivi with her royal entourage (though her father apparently went to attend a very important conference of kings rather than the ceremony). He is very glad to see them all again, and feels honored they came to see and support him for his big day (though they do not exactly have too much choice, which Luffy does still feel a bit guilty about, his fault or not). They are all glad to be there for him, and having them there makes all the convoluted pomp and circumstance feel a lot more reasonable to him. Luffy spends most of the day talking with old friends and being introduced to some of the other guests by Big Mom herself and some of her other children.

After a good couple hours fraternizing and rubbing shoulders with his fellow Underworld Kingpins, he heads back to his room with something serious on his mind. He could not help but dwell on what Ace was berating him about, his wedding vows. He had no idea he was responsible for putting such a thing together, and goes to someone who can probably shed some light on it, Galette. He looks for her for a while, and happens upon Big Mom, of all people.

"Oh! Big Mom! Have you seen Gal-y? I wanted to talk to her about something, for tomorrow." Luffy asks her.

"Ma-ma-ma-ma! What's with that formal title? You'll be my son-in-law this time tomorrow! Call me Mama!" She says.

"Okay, Mama." Luffy says, then thinks for a moment.

"Hey, wait! That's what the people who work for you call you! I'll just keep calling you Big Mom, thanks.!" He adds

"Ma-ma-ma-ma-hahaha! Very well then, so be it! Now, you were looking for Galette, were you?" Big Mom asks. Luffy nods.

"She is in her room, but I'm sure she would not mind your company. Ma-ma-ma-ma! Chess Peacekeeper!" Big Mom calls out, prompting one to walk up her.

"Yes, Mama?" It asks in a stern voice.

"Lead Straw Hat, no, lead Luffy to Galette's room, will you?" She asks.

"Yes, Mama!" The Chess Peacekeeper says, then starts to walk away with Luffy following right behind.

"Thanks Big Mom!" Luffy calls out as he leaves with the Chess Peacekeeper. Luffy follows it as they reach a big set of doors and the Peacekeeper knocks on the door.

"Lady Galette! Straw Hat Luffy requests to speak with you!" The Peacekeeper explains, prompting silence and then a sudden,

"Let him in." comes Galette's voice from the other side. The living doors open slowly, and Luffy enters as the Chess Peacekeeper goes off to do whatever.

"Hello my sweet." She says in a calm voice as Luffy enters.

"Hey Gal-y! I wanted to ask you something about tomorrow." Luffy explains. She says nothing, but he can tell she is waiting to hear what he has to say. Luffy decides to just come right out with it.

"My brother told me about something called 'vows,' and that I'm supposed to write them so I can say them for you tomorrow. Is that true? Did you write something?" He asks. Galette grins,

"I did write vows, yes. But I only intended to use them if you wanted to. It's admittedly a bit embarrassing, but I was going to read them to you whether or not we did our own vows at the Wedding. If not, I would have just read it to you later." Galette admits.

"Okay, I think I get it! I'll write something too, then!" Luffy says, suddenly turning and running off.

"Wait, Luffy!" Galette calls out, and he stops in his tracks.

"Huh?" He asks as he turns to look back at her.

"You don't have to if you don't want to, you know." Galette says. Luffy smiles for the millionth time since he arrived in Totto Land, and answers her,

"I get it now, but I want to! I'll have my 'vows' ready before the Wedding, I promise!" Luffy says, then returns to running off.

Luffy returns to his room and grabs his stationary and a pen, studying the paper and wracking his brain for a good few hours. He finds that his paper is still blank as nightfall comes, and lets out an aggravated shout. Chopper, who had since come into the room to rest earlier cannot help but hear Luffy's frustration.

"What's the matter, Luffy?" Chopper asks. Luffy puts his pen down and looks at his reindeer friend, trying to explain his predicament to him,

"Ace told me about these 'wedding vows' for the Wedding, and that I should write some to express how much I care about Gal-y! I want to, even though I don't have to, but I have no idea what I'm doing! I promised her I would have them ready before tomorrow, but I don't know how to do it!" Luffy says, irritated at his inability to perform what should be such a simple task, especially for how real he knows his feelings are, and yet he cannot express them. Chopper has an idea, and speaks up,

"Just wait there for a moment! I'll be right back!" He says, rushing out of the shared room with no explanation. After a few moments, Chopper returns with Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and Brook in tow.

"Hey, guys. What're you all doing here?" Luffy asks.

"We all can help you with your 'vows' thing, Luffy! Just tell us how you feel, and we'll help you put it into words!" Chopper exclaims as they all give supportive smiles. Luffy looks excited too, glad Chopper came up with the idea. If anyone could help him, if there was anyone he could trust to help him with such an important task, it would be his crew. Sanji and the girls took charge of the overall vows, getting Luffy to speak from the heart as best he can, and the rest helping him put into word appropriate for a wedding. Luffy is most inclined to listen to Zoro and Usopp, but Zoro's contributions are basically worthless, since every one is about either swords, booze, or fighting. Every line Usopp suggests is a joke, which they keep one of, but most are "thrown out the window." Sanji contributes the most, but some of the things he says cannot be put in for several reasons, so the majority of Sanji's individual contributions are not used. Nami comes up with some great parts, but threatens to charge "royalty fees" for using them, so they all get scrapped until she gives Luffy a few freebies. Robin makes a lot of good suggestions, but most of the words she uses are simply too complicated for Luffy to memorize the meanings and pronunciations of, and so the things she says that they use are changed dramatically. Everything Franky says could easily be misinterpreted as perverted, so he does not get much in, but he certainly makes his contributions. As for Brook, he has a lot of eloquent statements to provide, but every one ends with a request for Galette to flash her panties, so those parts are consistently and unfailingly stricken from the vows. It takes them all night, but Luffy puts his personal touches to it and they finish, then all pass out from all the arguing and debating it took to get them that far.

A/N: With the vows out of the way, there is only one thing left to do. The Wedding is incoming. Admittedly, this chapter is a bit short because it was originally part of next chapter, but the final chapter just became too long, so I split it up like this. As a result, my intent to make this story 25 chapters long became 26 chapters long. Oh well. Either way, next chapter will be the big finale, so don't forget to tune in next time, and while you wait, don't forget to Follow, Favorite, and Review!
