It has been several weeks since Risley returned from the trip with Mark. She had not heard a lot from him, but the paparazzi made sure to keep her informed of all his movements and all the girls that he was 'romancing.' The paparazzi followed her everywhere now to work, home, food shopping taking pictures and asking 101 questions. She knew what they were trying to do trying to get a reaction from her, but deep inside she missed Mark tearable. Risley looked at her self in the mirror and then her eye caught the picture of her and Mark was she placed in the corner. She looked at the clock and noticed that it was afternoon where he was and decided to call once more. The phone rang and rang "Hey Mark its Ris. I just want to talk. I have been thinking of you a lot. Give me a call back okay. Bye" She hung up and wanted to cry. Why did she let herself become so weak? There was no explanation on why Mark just stops talking to her... it just happened. She wore jean shorts and a T-shirt that said 'always speak your truth.' She thought it was funny after all Mark said the paparazzi would always twist everything to make news, but oddly enough once Risley and Mark came out that they were or are an item everything they did together had honest news. Risley grabbed her things and put on her sunglasses. She made her way to the front door of the apartment building. She could see them already standing there waiting to pounce.

"Risley, did you hear from Mark? Risley do you have anything to tell the Prince? Risley, what are your thought on what is happening? Risley, did you know that he is dating blah blah?" She kept her head down and heading towards her car and got in. She honked the horn a few times like she always did before she started to move to tell the paparazzi to move. She finally made her way.

"Joe, what is going on with my son," The queen asked as Joe bowed his head.

"Ma'am, I am not sure" He paused "Risley has been calling and also following all the rules you put into place even tho she is in America"

"Yes, I do realize that, but look at all these headlines... look at what the people want..."

"Yes Ma'am, I know"

"Joe, We can not have him running around without a future in sight. You need to sit down and get it to straighten out."

"Yes Ma'am," Joe said and bowed his head.

Risley took a sip out of her glass of wine "I have called and called and left so many messages. I am not sure what I did wrong."

"Maybe it is not you at all. Maybe Mark is not ready for a relationship." Evelyn said as they snacked on cheese and crackers.

"Then why not say it? I am being bombarded by paparazzi every turn every day for almost a month... When am I suppose to move on?" She paused "What if I can't?"

"Your heart will heal and the paparazzi will get bored in time"

"Board?" She paused "The paparazzi are in love watching the royals over there and telling me about all his doings."

"They just want a reaction... Don't give it to them" She sighed "Look I will have Tom call Mark and see what is going on. I have not known Mark to ever not return his calls."

"Thank you," Risley said and then looked out the back window. "I think that I allowed him into my heart and really should have been careful"

"I hope you have the chance to tell him that, honestly"

Mark looked down at his phone and see that Risley called. She crossed his mind over and over, but how could he just pick up the phone and tell her that he should have never left her go. Mark threw his phone on the bedside table as he pulled apart his clothes. He jumped into the shower trying to forget about the day and about the one he let get away. Mark came out with a towel around his waist as he dried with the other towel. His phone started to ring and see it was Tom.

"It's about time you call" Mark picked up the phone

"Yes Yes you know life is busy. So, tell me what have you been really up to and not what the paparazzi has been writing"

Mark started to tell Tom about several of the engagements and then started into the women subject. Mark made sure to stay away from the Risley. Mark did not want to get his mind started on that. "So, when are you coming out here?"

"Well, I don't know. I have to check with the misses" He paused and then just asked, "What is going on between you and Risley?"

Mark grunted and took a deep breath "I really, tried not to talk about this"

"Yeah well, you know I have to ask the hard questions. So, spill the beans."

"Risley and I get along so well. My mother loves her. Joe is a fan, and the public just ate her alive. We had a great time together in the public eye and out of it. You know what I mean, but the time ended."

"Yes, and?"

"Tom, I am never good at any of this stuff this is why I am alone. Risley has been calling. I am avoiding her. I wish she didn't leave. I could not tell her that when she was here. Now I made a mess out of her life with the paparazzi and making a mess of mine." Tom was silent on the other end of the phone. He knew that Mark was bearing his soul like he has only done a few times before with Tom. "She got away Tom and I have no idea what to do to fix this."

"Well, She is a big believer in the universe... maybe reach out to her and just be like 'I wanted to check in on you' and see how that goes"

"Oh yeah after not speaking to her for about a month. I now worry? She is never going to fall for that" Mark paused "I wish my schedule was more open, but it is packed every day for a while." Tom knew what Mark was trying to say without saying it. He was in love with Risley and couldn't say it. He also knew now what he had to convince Evelyn to do.

The queen sat at the table looking at the papers of the day. Each one of the papers was still calling for Risley 'Ris of a princess' one read, 'We want Risley', 'Come home to sun-Ris.' The queen pushed them away. She needed to get Risley back in this castle and needed to get done fast. Who knew the connection that Risley had with the people. The queen walked down the hall and on a mission. She knocked on the door.

"My lady" Joe bowed his head at the queen as he steps back and she walked in and closed the door.

"Joe, I don't believe I made it very clear about my son and Miss Johnson." She started and Joe stood in silence "I want them back together and I want to give the people what they want." She paused again and then handed Joe a letter "In this letter, you have all the tools that will be needed for this task. I want it done, and my son should not know anything that is happening. Understood?"

"Yes Ma'am," He said and bowed his head as she left.

Evelyn sat down in Risley's office and watched her work. Risley looked at up her and finished her e-mail. "What happened?"

"I know these last few weeks have really been hard, but I have the best idea to fix this situation" She glowed.

"Go on"

"Okay, hear me out. Tom got a ticket to an event that we are sure Mark will be there. The event is in 2 days. I have the plane ticket right here. I have the dress you need to wear in the car. All you have to do is go home pack your things and get on the plane."

"Evelyn, I know you're trying to help, but there is so much more to that. I need to get a car, a place to stay, and somehow get my name on that list to get in."

"Ris, I have it all planned out. You need to shut down your computer and get on your way." Evelyn could see that she was thinking about it and just pushed her even more "Stop you say the universe gives you signs... this is a sign!" Evelyn grabbed Ris hand and started to pull her.

"Hang on, let me set this up in my email," Risley said and Evelyn started to cheer.

Evelyn hugged her friend goodbye and continued to give her a pep talk that she needed to feel good and confident about herself. Risley grabbed her bag and started headed into the tunnel there was no way to turn back. Evelyn paces the hallway as she watched the airplane. Risley's heart was pounding through her chest as she was afraid that all of this was going to be done for nothing. She took a seat and knew that she needed to do this. She needed to say what she had to say to Mark even if it hurt him.

Evelyn watches the plane disappear into the sky as she picked up her cell phone. "Hello, yes, it is done."
