Author's Note: Sorry for the long wait a lot has been happening.
Chapter .1.
The Doctor holds Clara as she slept she had cried herself to sleep. He was blaming himself why did he leave her! He couldn't believe his Clara had been sexual assaulted. He held Clara tightly trying to make her feel safe even though he didn't like touch he would live with it for Clara. He would do anything for Clara. His impossible girl. If he could find the person that did this he would give the person to the Daleks.
It was early in the morning when Clara began to thrash in the Doctor's arms.
"Shh Clara it is just a bad dream. I am here now to protect you. I won't let you go", the Doctor says having said it though out the night when she was having a nightmare
She wakes with a start and starts crying into the Doctor's shirt.
"Shh I am here now. No one will touch you as long as I am breathing", the Doctor vows
"When can I get out of here? I want to go to the TARDIS", Clara says
"Do you want me to find out?" the Doctor asks
"Please", Clara says
The Doctor gently places Clara back on the bed by herself.
"I will hurry", the Doctor says
"Thank you", Clara whispers
The Doctor finds the doctor who was looking after Clara this morning. The nurse said she would get the doctor.
The Doctor goes back to Clara and holds her hand.
The doctor will be here soon with a nurse or two", the Doctor says
"I hope it is not a male doctor I can't handle it", Clara says
But she was unlucky a male doctor and two female nurses arrive Clara begins to panic and then Doctor takes her into his arms.
"Out now! Get a female doctor. Didn't you even read her chart?" the Doctor asks pissed
"No I haven't", the doctor admits
"She was sexually assaulted a female doctor should come in now she wants to leave", the Doctor explains while comforting Clara who was clutching his shirt
"I will go and find one", the doctor says running out as The Doctor glares at him
Twenty minutes later a female doctor comes in and with the same two female nurses.
"Hello Miss Oswald I am Doctor Nixon. I am sorry for the male doctor coming in here he is new and he needs to learn to read charts before going into a room. Now lets check your injuries", Doctor Nixon says
Doctor Nixon looks over the scratches that had been stitched up and looked at her broken arm making sure the cast was alright. She checks the braces on the knee and ankle and finding it all good.
"Your arm will be in plaster for 6 weeks and you should rest that knee and ankle too when you get home no moving it too much for at least a couple of days", Doctor Nixon says
"I will", Clara says still clutching the Doctor
"Are you staying with anyone? Because you have a concussion that should still be monitored", Doctor Nixon says
"She will be staying with me", the Doctor says
"Who are you sir?" Doctor Nixon asks
"I am John Smith her best friend. Now can we have the discharge paperwork?" the Doctor asks
"Yes I will go get it now", Doctor Nixon, "The nurses will remove the IV"
The nurses take out the IV as Clara clutches the Doctor. The nurses help get her into clothes from last night which made her fill dirty and she just wanted out of them. Once it was out they leave her alone.
"When we get to the TARDIS we will get you some proper clothes", the Doctor whispers knowing she left in those clothes
Doctor Nixon comes in with the discharge papers and Clara signs them. Doctor Nixon also gives her some scripts for pain that they will have to get from the pharmacy.
Clara refuses the wheelchair and the Doctor offers to carry her which she accepted. Clara cringes at all the noise on the way out but the Doctor's arms remained around her holding her tightly.
"You are doing well with touch", Clara says trying to distract herself
"I would do anything for you Clara. We will use the TARDIS to get you home", the Doctor says
"Will you stay?" Clara asks scared
"As long as you want me too. I am not letting you out of my sight. Not even if Daleks or Cyberman come I will not leave your side", the Doctor says as they reach the TARDIS
The TARDIS's doors open without the Doctor clicking his fingers and Clara relaxes when she is in the safety of the TARDIS. The TARDIS hums seeming to want to calm Clara for once. The Doctor sits her on a chair.
"Now lets get you home. I will park the TARDIS in your spare room. I will stay with you as long as you need. When your knee and ankle heal I will take you to any planet you want. How about the creator of the Souffle", the Doctor says
"I would like that. Sounds like fun", Clara says
The Doctor sets the TARDIS in Clara's place in her spare bedroom. The Doctor helps Clara's out and onto the couch.
"So what do you want to eat?" the Doctor asks
"Can you cook?" Clara teases
"I am sure I can make toast or something. So toast?" the Doctor asks
"That will be good and maybe some tea", Clara asks
"Toast and Tea coming up", the Doctor says going into the kitchen
He just mangers to make the toast without burning it and makes the tea like Clara wants to have. He gives them to her.
"Clara do you want to talk about what happened? I will listen", the Doctor says
"I went to the Night Club with some colleagues from work. I left early and walked past an alley and he grabbed me. I didn't really see what he looked like. But I fought. I did fight", Clara cries
The Doctor wraps his arms around her.
"Shh. Everything will be fine", the Doctor says hugging her gently
Clara manages to eat her toast and drink her tea.
"I will go to the chemist and get your scripts I will be back within half an hour will you be alright in the mean time?" the Doctor asks
"I will try. I will lock the door you can open it with the sonic", Clara says
"That will be good. I will be back soon my Clara", the Doctor says, "Need anything while I am out?"
"No. Just the scripts", Clara says
"I will be back soon", the Doctor says leaving
Clara locks the door and curls up in the corner of the room as she heard noises outside her apartment that was not the Doctor she was scared tears ran down her face and she just wanted the Doctor back with her. He would protect her. She was starting to panic when she hears the door open and she was hyperventilating.
"Shh Clara it is just me. Shh your safe and I will not let anyone harm you again", the Doctor says kneeling down and keeping a respectable distance as to not scare her with his hands where she could see them
"Doctor?" Clara crocks
"Yes it is me. May I approach?" the Doctor asks
"I need you", Clara says tears still coming
The Doctor comes over to her and sits down next to her and wraps an arm around her.
"None will hurt you again my Clara. I wouldn't let them", the Doctor says letting Clara cry on him, "Lets get you in bed and you can have a rest"
The Doctor picks her up and takes her into her bedroom and onto her bed. He turns his back as Clara gets changed.
"Can you burn those clothes please?" Clara begs
"I will. We will burn them together", the Doctor says helping her into bed
"I would like that", Clara says
"Take your pain killers", the Doctor says handing them to her and a glass of water
Clara takes them quickly because she was in pain from staying on the floor for so long.
"Now sleep", the Doctor says
"Will you be here when I wake up?" Clara asks
"I will. I promise I won't leave this flat. If I am not in the room when you wake up just call for me", the Doctor says
"I will. Stay till I fall asleep?" Clara asks
"Ok", the Doctor says pulling up a chair
"Tell me how you meet River", Clara asks
"It all started at the largest library in the universe when I was in my 10th regeneration…", the Doctor starts and tells her everything till she falls asleep
"Sleep well my Clara. I will let no harm come to you", the Doctor whispers tucking her in
The Doctor decides to go and clean Clara's apartment while she was asleep. He knew it was going to be a long road till Clara felt safe again and he was determined to make her feel safe again…
