Sensing company, his grandson was the first to react. The young man gallantly put his companion's face to his shoulder and looked up at him.

"Grandfather," he said simply.

The young Potter visibly flinched and buried her face deeper into his grandson's neck.

"Ms. Potter, unhand Mr. Snape. Fifty points from Gryffindor for being out of bed."

"But sir—I"

"No excuses, Mr. Snape. Fifty pointy from Slytherin for being out of bed. Back to your dormitories, the two of you!"

"Let me escort her there."

Severus acquiesced, accompanying the pair to Gryffindor Tower.

"Good night, Lily."

"Good night, Saeran."
