So this is long overdue, but I really wanted to finish this story! Here's the final instalment, please let me know what you thought of the story and if you enjoyed it! (Not yet proofread so forgive any mistakes.)

She felt so much safer now she'd found Robin but she was totally on edge after what she'd experienced whilst she had been alone, she couldn't believe what was supposed to have been a prank on him had ended up scaring the shit out of her, there was one thing she knew for sure, she wasn't being left alone in this place, something wasn't right about it. She didn't believe in paranormal, but something was in that tunnel, something unexplainable and it made her feel uncomfortable, it had scared her more than she would like to admit.

Once Robin pushed the door open some light met her eyes, but not much, only the slight glow that illuminated from the lamps on the side of the castle walls, but at least it was something, at least she wasn't surrounded by darkness. They made their way through the courtyard back to the entrance to the castle when a loud bang went off, causing them both to scream and grab one another, only to look up and see bright light bursting in the sky. Regina let out a nervous chuckle and shook her head, "it's just fireworks."

"Well I wish they wouldn't let them off like that, I nearly made a mess of my favourite trousers," he grinned, awkwardly pulling away from her as she straightened her hair and he opted to adjust his clothes.

She laughed and rolled her eyes at him playfully before pushing the door they needed to go through open. They approached the main area of the castle and met up with the rest of the cast and crew, Zelena was looking rather bored as she sat on her phone. When she caught sight of them she stood up and slipped her device into her pocket, "alright, now we're all here we can move to another part of the castle to do a session on the Ouija board, first I want to ask you all a few questions about what you all experienced whilst you were alone. Okay then, cameras rolling in three, two, one, action."

"Welcome back to Celebrity Ghost Hunt, before the break we saw our celebrities take off to explore the castle on their own, now we've all grouped back in the entrance hall to prepare for the séance where we will attempt to communicate with someone from the other side. Robin, Regina how did your explore go, did you see or feel anything that seemed out of the ordinary or paranormal?"

"Well, we went to explore the wartime tunnels and we seemed to come into contact with a lot of paranormal activity. Both Regina and I sensed a presence and I'm one hundred percent certain that I will never be going down there again."

"What he said," Regina nodded, agreeing completely with Robin. What had started off as a prank on Robin by her had quickly turned into one of the most terrifying moments of her life and a repeat of that was not an option. Zelena went on to talk to other cast members about their own experience then they were moving to another room to conduct the séance.

"Now, as you can see, this particular room is the armoury," Zelena pointed out as they walked inside. The walls were covered with different types of weapons, all of them hanging in rows as far as the eye could see. There were also suits of armour that stood in front of each beam, Regina could just picture them coming to life and scaring the shit out of everyone, but she reminded herself that if that did happen it was just someone dressed up. So far, she was adamant that everything that happened was a concept of her imagination, none of it was real, she was just making it all up in her mind.

There was a loud echo as they walked across the wooden floorboards towards the board that was set up for the séance. It looked like something out of a scary movie, the production team had clearly done a fabulous job of setting the stage. The board itself was laying on a table covered with a white table clothe and behind it was a large window with dark wooden frames that held in the glass. Through the windows, the full moon was shining and the outline of the forest beyond was silhouetted perfectly to make everything seem even more spooky.

Regina glanced at Robin nervously, for some reason she was feeling a little off about this, she didn't know if she wanted to do it. "You okay?" he asked, moving closer to her as they all took their seats around the table.

"Just a little anxious that's all, I'm sure it'll be fine."

"Yeah, I'm sure it will."

Zelena looked at them all and nodded to the cameraman for him to begin rolling, "Here we are in the armoury where the artefacts themselves have a haunting past. Many tales have been told of weapons being moved and the armour making noises. Hopefully, we will be able to contact some of the entities behind the troublesome behaviour and ask them some questions in our séance. If you could all place one finger onto the cursor and we can begin. Please, don't try and move it or attempt to sway the experience. Let's begin."

"If there are any spirts present here who wish to make contact, please make yourself known. Touch one of us around the table, or move the arrow," Zelena called out. Regina watched the planchette, waiting for it to move, she was so on edge it was unreal, she could barely breathe due to nerves.

The wooden piece jolted and everyone around the table gasped as Zelena told them all to remain calm and keep their fingers pressed down onto the pointer. "Thank you, is it okay if we ask you some questions?" The pointer moved around the board before landing on yes, leaving it open for the red-head to ask further questions.

Regina tensed up, she wanted to pull her hand away and leave, she didn't really want to be part of the show anymore, it was creeping her out way too much, so much more than she had been expecting it to. She glanced at the people sat around the table, the majority of them had worried and nervous expressions on their faces as they looked at the board. Robin kept looking from the cursor to her and then back to the cursor again.

"Do you want to talk to someone at the table?" Zelena asked. Almost immediately the pointer moved to yes, so violently that Regina shuddered at the feeling. Then she realised that the cold presence was back again, located on her left side.

"I feel something," she breathed, eyes widening, "it feels like ice running over my neck," Regina whispered, glancing to Robin and then to Zelena who was watching her curiously.

"Do you want to talk to Regina? Do you like her?" The planchette moved to yes two times in a row and Regina didn't know whether to be flattered or terrified. "Do you want to harm her?" Zelena questioned and Regina felt her breath catch in her throat, why would she ask something like that? Why risk provoking a spirit? Not that they were real, Regina still didn't believe, this was obviously just a well thought out elaborate hoax. Still, she watched the board intently. The arrow seemed to fight over where it was moving to before flinging to the other side of the board and landing on No.

Then it was moving on its own accord without even being asked a question and Zelena looked in shock as though that had never happened before. They all watched as the curser started spelling something out.

L… O… V… E…

"Love? Do you love Regina?"

"Zelena," Regina hissed, she wasn't comfortable with the attention that was being placed on her, she wanted someone else to take the burden. Why had she been the chosen one? "stop provoking it."

"The spirit is trying to talk to us. Do you love Regina?"

Regina swallowed heavily as she stared back at the arrow, how the hell could it love her? It didn't even know her, she'd only been in the castle for a couple of hours and she hadn't even so much as believed in spirits when she arrived. She had hardly been open for them to try and contact her. The pointer moved to yes before carrying on moving to different letters.

W… I… F… E… L… O… V… E… L… O… S… T…

"I'm not your wife," Regina shook her head, she was out, she wasn't playing this game anymore, it wasn't funny. "I'm done." She moved to stand up before feeling Robin's hand wrap around her wrist.

"Regina, it's okay," he reassured, stroking a finger gently over her skin, "don't leave, don't you want to hear the story?"

"No, I don't."

"Regina, why don't you sit down and we'll try and redirect the séance?" Zelena suggested.

Regina sighed and nodded, returning to her seat and moving her finger back to the planchette. She was still feeling creeped out and knew that this was going to be an experience she would never forget. As soon as she was touching the pointer again, it started to move, heading for the letters.

D… E… A… T… H…

"Do you want to harm someone?" Zelena asked, glancing at the cast, "I have a feeling this is a different spirit," she stated as they all eyed the arrow. Regina hoped to god that this spirit wasn't trying to kill her, she didn't know if she could deal with that one. It moved to yes and everyone gasped. "Jefferson, would you like to ask some questions?"

"Okay," he nodded, "who is it that you want to harm?"

This question was met with stillness and for a brief moment Regina thought there wouldn't be an answer, that was until the curser picked up speed and pointed directly at Robin. Her heart rate quickened as she turned to look at him in concern, now it seemed as though it was his turn to look freaked out. "Why do you want to harm Robin?" she asked, knowing that Jefferson was supposed to be the one asking, but she couldn't resist the temptation.

M… I… N… E…

"What's yours?" Robin questioned, glancing at Regina worriedly.

Q… U… I… E… T… O… U… T… L… A… W…

Regina looked at Zelena to try and gauge her reaction, but her face wasn't revealing anything, "this spirt is hostile."

I… W… A… N… T… H… E… R

"Are there any other spirits who wish to talk to us through the board?" Zelena huffed, ignoring what had just been spelt by the possessive spirit. Regina had a feeling that whoever it was that wanted to contact her was refusing to leave, he was determined to get her to listen and it was making her feel more and more creeped out. "Does anyone else want to speak? Don't be afraid to push past the spirit, make yourself known."

A cool feeling washed over her once again and she was trying her hardest to pretend that it wasn't there, but that was nearly impossible to do when she felt an ice-cold fingertip run across her neck. "Zelena."

"Are you okay?"

"I can feel it touching me again," Regina breathed, hearing Marian chuckle from his across the table. She turned to look at her and fixed her with a glare, "what are you laughing at? You're not the one being felt up by bloody ghosts."

"Come off it, everyone knows that you're playing up to the camera," Marian scoffed, rolling her eyes and making Regina want to wring her neck, stupid woman doubting what Regina knew she felt.

"Trust me I'm doing no such thing I don't even believe in spirits! I think it's a load of old bullshit and…" there was a loud crash from directly behind her and the helmet from a suit of armour rolled across the floor before landing at her feet. Everyone in the room went silent and they all stared it in shock, Regina's eyes widened and she stood up from her chair immediately, moving in between Robin and Mal. She refused to sit in that seat any longer. "How the hell did that happen?" she breathed, feeling both Robin's and Mal's hands slip into hers as she stood between them. She wanted to get out now, this wasn't funny anymore.

Everyone's eyes were on Zelena but she was watching the cameraman with a worried expression etched onto her face, she looked back at them before shaking her head. "I don't know, but I think maybe we should end the séance there and do some calling out, clearly they want to be more active in other ways and Regina's spirit isn't letting any of the other presences let themselves be known."

"I think that's a good idea, in fact, why don't we just end the experiment now and be done with it," Jefferson laughed nervously as he stood up from the table and moved beside Regina, "let's all just go home now."

Regina was agreeing with him, but she couldn't bring herself to say it out loud, Mal, on the other hand, had no problem expressing her feelings. "Great idea Jefferson, let's go," she wrapped her arm around his as he helped her up.

"How about we split up again but go to different places this time?" Zelena suggested.

Regina looked to Robin and back at the host, she knew that whatever they did she didn't want to stay in the armoury and there was no way in hell that she would be going back to the tunnels. She wanted to go to the least haunted area of the castle, she was getting a little sick and tired of constantly being freaked out. "Would we be in the same couples as before?"

"Yeah sure, Robin and Regina, how about you two go visit the library in the west tower."

"Come on then Your Majesty, let's find this library," Robin quipped as they moved away from the rest of the group, picking up their hand-held cameras from the crew on the way. Once they were far enough away from the rest of the group Regina let out a sigh of relief. The cool presence that had been surrounding her had somewhat disappeared and because there were lights on in the corridor she didn't feel as freaked out as she had done in the armoury.

"This is better," she stated as they searched for the room they were supposed to be going to. After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at their destination, Regina peeked around the door, trying to assess what kind of area they would be going into, she knew it was the library, but it could quite easily have been remodelled into something else and simply kept the same name. However, seemingly it was exactly what it was supposed to be, a room full of bookshelves which held thousands of books.

The lights were still on and Regina had no intention of turning them off, with the lights on she could pretend that she wasn't even in a castle and imagine that they weren't even on a stupid ghost hunting show, she could let all of that slip from her mind for a while.

"Well, it doesn't look exactly menacing which I suppose is a good sign," Robin grinned as they made their way further into the room. He stopped at a wooden table which had red leather chairs tucked underneath it, "shall we sit?"

"Hmm," Regina nodded, taking a seat beside Robin and getting a good look at her surroundings. "We're not going to be calling out or anything like that are we?" she asked, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear due to a nervous habit. "I'd really hate to have another ghost touch me up."

"We don't have to call out, I don't exactly fancy the idea myself," he admitted.

"So what are we going to do then?"

"Talk?"

"What about?"

"Whatever you want."

Around twenty minutes later Regina had totally loosened up, there had been no more paranormal activity and she and Robin had been getting along like a house on fire. They were discovering that they shared many of the same interests and had misjudged one another. Their past encounter hadn't been brought up, but she could feel the sexual tension simmering in the air and she felt as though maybe she had to be the one who bridged the gap, maybe she should just bite the bullet and say what she was thinking. "So, it's a little weird for me seeing you again," she stated awkwardly.

"How so? I mean it's not as though we were serious back then."

"No, I know we weren't," she whispered. How was it that she was the only one who felt weird about it. As soon as she found out that he was going to be on the same episode as her she had worried about how they were going to act around each other. So far she had been pleasantly surprised. She was coming to realise that without Robin she certainly wouldn't still be inside the bloody castle, she would have walked by now, he was the only one stopping her from leaving, not that she would let him know that.

"That night was amazing though, you have to admit we were good together," Robin grinned at her as she shook her head, chuckling softly at his comment. That night had been so strange for her, she'd been so out of character in her behaviour. One of her friends in the music industry had thrown a party and both she and Robin had been invited, they'd chatted for most of the night before she'd agreed to go back to his hotel room. She never did anything like that, but she'd just been so caught up in the moment that she'd agreed to it.

"I was satisfied, yes," Regina smirked, standing from her seat and moving to the window, she glanced out of it for a moment before sliding down the wall to sit on the plush red carpet that covered the floor. Robin came to join her, sitting closer than he had been when they'd been at the table. She could feel the side of his body pressed against hers and it sent a familiar warmth through her, one that reminded her so much of that night.

"I was surprised that I never saw you again, I'd been hoping to ask you out again."

"Really? I thought I was just another one-night stand," she quipped, in all seriousness that had been exactly what she'd been thinking. She'd woken up full of regret and had even felt ashamed of her actions.

"If you'd have stayed around long enough that morning you would have found out that wasn't the case. No matter what you think of me Regina, I'm not the type for one-night stands, that isn't my style, I like to forge a connection with someone and develop something meaningful."

"I'm pretty sure that night was just lust."

"Hmm, maybe that night was, but what about this night, what does this class as?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," she sighed, she didn't know if she really wanted a repeat of that night and it certainly wasn't going to happen whilst they were filming for a tv show.

"Are you saying you don't feel the connection?" Robin asked with a raised eyebrow as he moved his hand to brush over the back of hers before threading their fingers together. "Because I definitely feel something," he whispered, caressing her skin gently with his thumb.

Regina swallowed heavily before turning her head to look at him, her eyes meeting his. God yes, she felt something.

Fuck it. In one smooth move, she straddled his lap and pressed her lips to his, her arms wrapping around his neck as he held her around the waist and kissed her back with just as much passion.

"God Regina," he groaned against her lips, pulling her body closer to his so that her breasts were pressed against him. "I forgot how good you were at that," he breathed, trying to regain his breath as he pressed his forehead against hers and brushed his fingers over her lower back, slipping them under her blouse.

"Well, I'll just have to make sure that you never forget again won't I," she grinned mischievously as she looked into his eyes. Something in her missed the feel of his lips against hers, she'd missed being able to kiss him. Even though they had only been together once, she hadn't forgotten what that felt like and she didn't know how he could have.

She re-joined their lips, allowing her hips to roll gently over his, her jean-clad core brushing against him. She moaned into his mouth as he deepened their kiss, she could feel him beginning to get hard underneath her and his hands slipped down her back to cup her ass, allowing him to her harder against him. She really needed to stop this before…

"Robin, Regina!"

Regina tore her lips from his and almost fell off his lap before scrambling to her feet. When she turned around she was expected Zelena to be staring right at them, she'd sounded as though she'd just caught them in the act, but she wasn't there thank goodness. Robin stood up and moved behind her, "how the hell am I going to hide this?" he groaned, making her smirk and shake her head.

"Just stand behind me," Regina shrugged. As soon as she'd said that she could feel his hard cock pressing against her ass and rolled her eyes, she hadn't meant for him to stand that close to her. She didn't want anyone to become suspicious about what they had been getting up to. "What does my lipstick look like?"

"Well, it's none existent."

"I…"

"There you are!" Zelena breathed, she sounded as though she had been running and had to try and catch her breath. They noticed the rest of the cast were following behind her and Regina wondered whether they had missed the memo, she couldn't remember Zelena having told them to meet up, but then again, she had been rather pre-occupied. "We were looking for you."

"Well, now you found us. What's happening?"

"We saw something," Mal whispered and Regina turned to look at the blonde in absolute shock, Mal was a none believer like her, so for her to say that she had actually seen something she must have actually seen something substantial.

"What did you see?" Regina asked worriedly, her bottom lip finding its way between her teeth as she stared at the other woman, waiting for her answer. She really hoped that it wasn't something too freaky.

"I don't really know, it was just a figure of some sorts."

"I think it was a man," Jefferson added, "he was dressed in posh clothes and looked as though he might have been important at one time or another."

"We saw the same thing," Marian quipped, "he seemed to stare straight through us."

Regina rolled her eye at the brunette before turning her attention back to Zelena, she wanted answers and needed to know what they were going to have to do now. "Now what?"

"Now I think we should all try and get some sleep for the night. Maybe we could all take turns and sleep in the library, this seems to be as good of a place as any," the presenter claimed as she looked around the area. Regina had almost forgotten that they were expected to sleep in the castle, that was a part she was not looking forward to and just to add insult to injury she was now annoyingly turned on.

"What are we supposed to sleep on?" Cruella asked with her nose turned up in disgust, seemingly she was thinking the same thing as Regina. They were obviously in for an extremely uncomfortable night and Regina didn't know if she could be bothered with it all. Was it even worth it?

"We have sleeping bags," Zelena shrugged.

An hour later and all of the lights that had once lit the library were switched off and Regina laid there in the complete darkness unable to sleep. She'd picked the spot below the window and was now regretting that decision, she was freezing cold and couldn't stop herself from shivering. Would it really have killed them to install proper heating in this place so that she didn't have to lay there and virtually turn into an ice cube?

She'd tossed and turned for long enough. Quietly she stood from her makeshift bed and picked up her blanket before moving over to where she saw Robin, she couldn't tell if he was asleep or not, but she didn't want to lie on her own anymore and he would provide her with more heat than she was getting sleeping alone. Carefully she lowered herself back down to the ground and pressed her front against his back, her arm wrapping around his middle as she brushed her cheek against his shoulder.

"Couldn't sleep either?" he asked, turning a little and pulling her into his arms, allowing her to snuggle against his chest.

"I was cold," Regina murmured, her eyes fluttering closed for a moment, she felt exhausted, but her body just wouldn't allow her to fall asleep.

"You feel freezing," Robin frowned before taking off his hoodie and passing it to her, "put that on."

"But then you won't have…"

"I'm fine, just put the jumper on," he tutted, making her comply with his instructions. The sweatshirt was warm and smelt like him, it brought her a comfort that she hadn't felt since they started filming this bloody program. Once she was dressed, she cuddled back into him and he brought the blankets up to cover them before wrapping his arms around her and pressing a chaste kiss to the top of her head. "Got to sleep if you want, I'll be right here."

"I don't think I can," she sighed. Even though she felt warmer now, there was still a nagging feeling that told her they were being watched and not by the camera crew and other cast members. "This place is super creepy," she mumbled, burying further into him.

"I know right," he chuckled. She felt his fingers fun through her hair and it did work to soothe her a little. Closing her eyes she allowed herself to relax.

Just as Regina had been about to drift off to sleep, a loud scream rang out through the library, startling her awake again as she sat up with Robin following her, "who was that?" she asked, trying to see through the dark. Everyone around them was now sat up all of them looking around, barely visible to her only lit by the moon shining in through the window.

The lights flicked on so that they could see things better, she stood up and realised that someone was missing. "Where's Marian?" Robin asked, clearly noticing that she was missing also. Everyone was now awake and on their feet, but the brunette was nowhere to be seen. Robin gently took her hand and drew her closer to him, she was happy for the contact and moved so that her back was pressed against his front.

"I don't know," Zelena breathed.

Regina began to panic before she heard a rich laugh coming from behind one of the shelves, she rolled her eyes and dropped Robin's hand before stalking towards the shelf and looking behind it. "You bitch," she seethed.

"Calm down Regina, it was only a joke."

"Well, no one found it funny," she spat in return, shaking her head at the annoying woman. She was pissed because she had literally been on the brink of sleep when Marian's childish scream scared her half to death. She felt Robin's hand press against her back and had it stopped her from lashing out even more at the woman who was now staring at her looking a little worried that she might actually be beaten up or something.

Regina cleared her throat and moved away from the other woman as she glanced up at Robin, it was strange how he had such an effect on her, but she couldn't deny that his presence was calming.

"Okay, enough of that," Zelena tutted, "maybe now were all awake we should just move on from here. Shall we head to the throne room?"

"Fine," Mal nodded, wrapping the blanket she had been using around her as she linked arms with Jefferson, Cruella and Marian followed behind them and Zelena stayed back a little.

"God that woman," the redhead huffed, "I really don't blame you for yelling at her, I would have done it myself if you hadn't beat me to it."

"She is getting on my last nerve," Regina seethed, it was then that she noticed Zelena staring at her, she followed the other woman's gaze and realised that she was staring at the jumper she was wearing, Robin's jumper. "I was cold," she shrugged before following after the rest of the crew.

The throne room was like nothing she had ever seen before, it was like stepping back in history. She gazed at the high ceilings and decorative walls and there was a niggling feeling deep down that she couldn't put her finger on. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a silver music box on one of the tables, she moved towards it to get a closer look, she could have sworn that she'd seen it before. "Can I look at that?"

"Do you feel something from it?" Zelena asked.

"I'm not sure, I was just pulled to it."

"Go ahead, pick it up."

Regina carefully lifted it up and opened the lid, looking at the red velvet lining and the small figure that would spin once the box was wound up. She twisted the metal cog to wind up the music box, she wanted to hear what it sounded like, as soon as the eerie tune met her ears and the character began to spin, she dropped the box back down, her eyes widening in shock. She knew that tune and she recognised that music box, she'd held it before and wound it up, but how was that possible? She had never been here before and yet this room and this artefact triggered something inside her.

"I think I need to leave now," Regina breathed, shaking her head. That had been the last straw, she didn't think she could take any more of this. Suddenly the doors to the hall slammed closed and a gust of wind blew, Robin hurried over to her side and she wrapped her arm around his, things started falling off the displays, being thrown around the room as the entire cast cowered backwards, moving further towards the thrones situated at the front of the room.

"Stop it!" Regina yelled, as soon as she did everything stopped falling and the music box landed directly in front of her, popping open as the girl inside began spinning faster than she should, the song playing at an abnormal speed.

"Regina," a voice called, she realised that it was coming from the spirit box in Zelena's hands, "I won't let you leave me again."

"If this is a prank, I swear I will sue your asses!" Regina breathed. Her first thought was that this was something the producers had made up to scare her, but Zelena looked just as shocked as everyone else, surely, she would have been in on the gag, but she didn't seem to be, she didn't seem to know anything about it.

"Regina, look," Robin whispered, he was facing the opposite direction, looking towards the thrones. Slowly she turned and her eyes fell upon a portrait, an old painting which was slashed directly down the middle. Moving closer she managed to just about make out the features and what she saw scared her more than anything that had happened yet. There was an uncanny resemblance and underneath the portrait it read Ave Regina In Omnibus meaning all hail the Queen in Latin. "She looks like you."

"I see that," Regina nodded, so what? One of her ancestors used to be the Queen? Was she a descendant? What was actually happening? "Zelena, who is that? In the picture?"

"I don't know," she shook her head, "someone find the historian," she ordered.

When the historian appeared, he was holding a heavy history book, he placed it down on a table and flicked through it, "the woman in the portrait was Queen Rose Maria of the Westlands," he stated. "She lived here with her husband, it was an arranged marriage and although the King was in love with the beautiful Queen, she didn't return his feelings. It is rumoured that she fell in love with an Outlaw and that one night when the King threw a ball in her honour, she and the thief snuck away together, never to return."

Regina's mind was racing, the spirit board had talked of an outlaw and when it got angry with Robin that had been what the spirit called him. Quiet Outlaw. Did the spirit think that she was his long-lost wife and Robin the Outlaw that stole her away from him? "What happened then?"

"We don't know what happened to the Queen, the King of course searched for her, he never gave up, he thought that she'd been kidnapped against her will, but her private diaries suggested otherwise."

Regina moved closer to the portrait and ran her fingers over the face that was so familiar, looking into the eyes that seemed so much like her own. "This is insane," she laughed, shaking her head as she turned back to the man, "what happened to the king then?"

"He never remarried and kept her portrait as a shire, it is said that when the castle was raided, he protected it with his life. The painting was slashed and stained with the King's blood as he was killed." Regina shuddered and looked at the portrait. She didn't know what to believe, but she did know that she couldn't stay here any longer.

"I'm leaving now," Regina stated confidently, "I've had enough." With that, she headed towards the door walking out alone with the entire cast's eyes on her as she left. Once she was out of the castle she sat on the large steps and stared at the sun rising over the tops of the forest on the horizon. She sat there in silence, her mind abuzz with different scenarios.

She felt someone sit down beside her and take her hand, she knew who it was and leant her head on his shoulder, "hey," he sighed.

"Hi."

"So, that was insane," he chuckled.

"You can say that again," she breathed, turning her head to look at him, "did you walk?"

"Hmm," he nodded, "didn't really feel like staying without you there."

"I don't want to stop you from getting the full payout," she murmured, looking down at their joint hands. She knew the deal, if you walked you didn't get the whole of the money, they were paying you to be on the program.

"I was never in it for the money anyway."

"Why did you agree to it then?" she asked, her thumb running over his tenderly.

"Well, the producer told me the cast list and I guess I couldn't say no," he shrugged, "I needed the opportunity to talk to you again and I couldn't pass it up."

"I'm flattered," she grinned, "but right now I really need to get out of here because my mind is totally frazzled."

"Do you think it was all an elaborate hoax?" he asked, standing from where he was sat and offering her his hand and helping her to her feet.

"I'm not sure what to think, but there's no way its true right?"

"Nah, I doubt it, the producers on this show are good."

"Hmm, too good," she chuckled with a shudder as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and they walked away from the castle.

If walls could talk, they would have discovered that maybe, in a previous life, they played the roles of a long-lost Queen and her Outlaw. Maybe the tale they had been told wasn't as made up as they might have believed it to be.
