Chapter 2: It All Started When...

Anyways to the story:
It was a chilly winter morning and Kagome was on her way to Morning Cup. Morning cup was the place where she met her friends daily. They often spent their time gossiping and relaxing in between going to school.
As Kagome was walking, she bumped into a sign. She quickly brushed herself off and looked up to read the sign. "Annual Taisho Winter Fashion show." The sign clearly stated with all the details on the where and why. Kagome quickly continued on with her walk to Morning Cup. She had never had much interest in Models or celebrities but she knew her friends would be ecstatic about the event.
As soon as she opened the door, the familiar faces of her friends greeted her. Yuka waved her over excitedly.
"Kagome, have you heard the news?" Eri asked. Kagome sighed. She didn't care about the latest celebrity gossip.
"Did Paris Hilton get arrested for rape?" She asked dully. Her friends stared at her dumbfounded.
It took each other them several moments to get over the shock of Kagome's answer.
"No silly," Yuka coughed. "This year they are hosting try outs for the Annual Taisho winter fashion show!" Yuka raised her voice in excitement.
"The company's main model left for America because her grandmother died. The news said Kikyo had to attend the funeral. They said she'd be gone for a month, and the fashion show is in two weeks." Ayumi filled Kagome in on all the details.
"And…" Eri pulled out her little calendar from her purse. "The tryouts are this Friday. If we take a train tomorrow at noon we'll be there by 3:00 p.m. and then…,"
Linda, a petite Blonde, came from behind the counter to deliver Kagome's Latte. She had been regular at Morning Cup for years; Kagome didn't even have to order her drinks anymore.
"Thanks, Linda," Kagome told the blonde as she placed the money in her hand.
"KAGOME!" Yuka yelled.
"Hmmm?" Kagome mumbled thoroughly uninterested. She had more important things to think about than the Annual Taisho Fashion show.
"We were wondering if you'd come along when we go to try out," Her friends shot her a hopeful glance.
"You guys aren't seriously going to try out...are you? The odds are seriously stacked against you to begin with," Kagome huffed.
"So? We still want to go! It'll be fun," Eri said.
"I just want to see what it's like," Ayumi said in a daze.
"Why don't you just come with and support us? You are constantly doing school work...learn to relax a little!" Yuka retorted.
Kagome really wasn't interested but she could understand the point her friends had made. She had been digging hard into her school books and needed a break.
"Alright," Kagome said begrudgingly. "See you all tomorrow at the train station. Don't be late!" She warned them sternly as she noticed their pleased faces. Kagome got up and threw her latte cup away.
"Bye!" She waved to her friends as she exited Morning Cup.

"Here," Ayumi shoved a train ticket in Kagome's hand.
"That's for agreeing to come with us...even though we know you aren't interested in attending the fashion show," Yuka grinned at her.
"Thanks guys!" Kagome said with a smile on her face.
"Ahhhhh!" Eri shrieked. "The train is leaving!"
Kagome and her friends sprinted for the door barely making it. They panted hard from the physical exertion.
"Safe!" Yuka yelled. The crew was a bit uncomfortable, the train was at its peak capacity and there were no seats left.
Kagome shifted uncomfortably as she felt a familiar vibration coming from her sweater pocket. She pulled out her classic, pink flip phone to find a message from her friend Koga.
'Kagome! I heard from your little brother that you will be in town. Come see me at Club Myth tonight at 11:00 p.m. I can't wait to see you!'
She sighed deeply. Kagome hadn't seen Koga since they went to school in different cities. She missed him and figured she would drop by to say hi. Kagome figured her relaxing vacation was about to unravel within the first few hours.

Okay I'm not so sure I really liked this chapter so much, but I promise future chapters will be better! So just wait I might update tomorrow or next week.
