Chapter 3: Club Myth and Catwalks

Original note:

Alright, Blackxsun, here. Sorry that I haven't updated in a long time a lot of things have been going on so I apologize!. Alright Ill try to make this chapter longer here.

9/1/18 - Updated the chapter. Switched from first to third person and corrected multiple grammar and punctuation errors.

The club was so packed it was unbelievable. Kagome squeezed through what seemed like hundreds of people just to get to the stair case that led to the third floor. She could barely breath the air as it was so dense because of how packed the people were together. Kagome began to wonder if people ever died from the overcrowd of the club.

Kagome slowly began to climb the stair case to the third floor. She thought she was about to collapse as she barely made it to the top. Why hadn't she tried to find the elevator instead?

"KAGOME!" her head whizzed to her left. Koga was racing towards Kagome with his arms wide open that promised a big embrace. She panicked and dodged his arms as they tried to encase her in a deathly grip.

Kagome knelled down to his figure on the floor and glared at him.

"What do you think you're doing, Koga?!" She hissed at him in a low whisper. He stood up with a big smirk on his face.

"Sorry, Kagome, I had always wanted to do that once." He broke out in a raging fit of laughter along with some other people sitting on the couches across the room.

To Kagome's surprise it was amazingly quiet in the lounge room except for the laughing. Koga slung one of his arms around Kagome and led her over to his buddies on the couch.

"He," Koga pointed to the man on the furthest left. "Is Miroku Hoshi. He works for Sesshomaru Taisho. Have you heard of Sesshomaru?"

"Yes, who hasn't?" Kagome replied sarcastically.

"And this," he pointed to Ayame. "Is my girlfriend, Ayame, but you're her friend…so you should know her name."

"Girlfriend? When did this happen?" Kagome asked inquisitively.

Ayame face flushed a bright red color.

"Shortly after we both started college...and you left to live in Kyoto."

Ayame had a guilty expression on her face like she had done something wrong.

"And then there's Ginta and Hakkaku. Of course you know them." Koga continued.

He then finally pointed to the last three people on the couch.

"Bankotsu, Jakotsu, and Sango Taijiya. They all work for the Taisho company as well."

Kagome opened her mouth to speak but the door slammed open. A man with long silver hair and two dog-like ears on the top of his head walked in.

"Oi, Koga! Where is the damn beer?" He shouted at Koga.

Koga looked at the silvered haired man with an irritated face before he just sighed heavily.

"The beer is over there, Mutt." Koga pointed at the cooler across the room.

"Kagome, this mutt face," he waved at the man who was now digging around in the cooler he just spotted.

"Is Inuyasha Taisho. He is the stupid brother of Sesshomaru Taisho. Although I can't say that Sesshomaru is that much better than Inuyasha."

Koga introduced the newcomer with a disgusted look across his face.

"But anyways, Kagome, it's not quite winter break yet...Why are you here? I mean I'm glad to see you but its just odd." He grinned.

"Your not competing in the Taisho Fashion show are you?" Koga sneered.

"It's a long story—" Kagome managed before being interrupted by a certain rude guest.

"Oi, Kikyo! What are you doing here?" Inuyasha yelled to her.

"What do you mean? Who's Kikyo?" Kagome wondered.

"I don't know who Kikyo is, but im KA-GO-ME. Kagome Higurashi."

Inuyasha observed the girl for a while longer before retreating to the cooler to grab yet another can of beer.

"You're right" He said before he took a sip of his beer.

"Kikyo is much cuter."

The door clicked open and the sound echoed throughout the silent room. The feint sound of a pair of high heels filled the room shortly after.

"This had better be good. I'm missing the annual winter fashion show and a dinner with Sesshomaru." The woman's voice was rough and angry. A chuckle sounded from the other side of the dark room and the lights clicked on.

"I wouldn't dare waste your time…" He walked out of the shadows and into the woman's view.

"Kikyo, I think I have good news." He motioned for her to sit which indicated that they would be there a while.

Kikyo walked over to the cold, hard bed on the far side of the room and sat down.

"Alright, spill it, Naraku."

Sesshomaru couldn't stand this time of year. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy winter but the annual fashion show took a lot of energy to plan. His employees drove him insane and the stress on top of his already heavy schedule was beginning to take a toll on him physically and mentally. He wasn't sure how he got talk into holding a competition for a new model but his advisers had convinced him it was going to be great for publicity and improve Tai Corp's sales by multiple figures.

Competition had started off rocky but they had finally arrived to the last day of the competition. Sesshomaru was getting really tired of seeing a bunch of obese, old ladies in swimsuits. Although he had to admit that there were plenty of fine looking young ladies out there too but they seemed to be a bit too promiscuous for his personal tastes in candidates.

However, one of the top models at Tai Corp. wasn't exactly the spitting image of innocence either. Sesshomaru had to admit that while fashion sells so does sex appeal and he admitted that Kikyo possessed great character as a model. She hardly ever partied, her drug tests were always clean, and her attire was revealing enough to interest people but not enough so you felt like you had seen all of her.

Sesshomaru also had a lot of amusement watching all the contestants as they walked on the cat walks. He figured that most of them had barely ever walked a day in heels much less with extravagant clothing while trying to keep up with a confident air and graceful strides.

Sesshomaru let out a frustrated sigh. The thought of trying to choose one woman over the thousands that entered was starting to give him a headache. The paparazzi were on his ass day and night about the contestants and the inside scoop on Tai Corp's competition. His half brother, Inuyasha, had been sighted at more bars since his girlfriend had left to America. He was almost always up to no good and the bad publicity from was starting to wear on Sesshomaru.

"Sesshomaru, Sir, Inuyasha has been arrested. The police said he got into a fight with a man named Koga Ookami at the club down town called 'Myth'." Jaken, Sesshomaru's squeaky little toad servant announced.

'Great.' Sesshomaru thought. 'I really need another problem.'

Kagome fumed silently. How could that stupid man compare me to someone she didn't even know. It would have been better for him to just keep his mouth shut. Kagome took a step forward ready to give him a real piece of her mind but Koga stepped in between them.

"What did you say? Kagome is way better looking than that whore even if they do looked similar! At least her personality is better. How do you know your little girlfriend hasn't cheated on you, huh?" Koga goaded him.

Inuyasha had turned red with anger. The chatter in the room fell silent as the other members began to catch on to the heavy atmosphere of the room. Inuyasha threw his bottle at Koga's head. Koga swiftly dodged and the bottle shattered on with the impact against the wall.

"You've done it now Wolf boy." Inuyasha snarled as he charged at Koga head on.

Inuyasha was too drunk to really care if he actually landed a hit or not. He bowled Koga over so ferociously that both men fell through the glass windows. Had they been normal humans, a fall from the third story window would have been deadly, however, as they weren't humans the impact was not as great. They both quickly jumped to their feet to resume the death match they had started.

A crowd had gathered around the two demons. Bones has started to creak and blood was spilled everywhere in their onslaught against each other.

The fight seemed to stretch on for hours but the cops rolled up to the scene just in time before the fight got fatal. Kagome just stood there and watched the two go at it in utter horror. She wasn't quite sure why Koga was fighting for her. Kagome figured that maybe he wasn't really fighting for her at all but just because he had been challenged. Men never back down. She rolled her eyes before grabbing her jacket. She quickly put it on and descended down the stairs while she left the other people in the room as they continued to watch the fight below.

Sesshomaru's evening had been completely ruined. He spent the night apologizing to the cops and the owner of the club. He also had to paying for all the damage that the club had received. On top of that, Sesshomaru also had to deal with the press that had been tailing Inuyasha to the club. Sesshomaru knew that by tomorrow the top headline would be 'Inuyasha Taisho arrested for starting a fight at the local club Myth.'

That idiot was always in the paper, and usually it wasn't good. A while back, Inuyasha, had actually become famous for being a movie director. His brilliant career was short lived as he stopped directing shortly after meeting his current girlfriend, Kikyo. Sesshomaru wasn't quite sure why Inuyasha liked Kikyo. She was often very cold to Inuyasha but he didn't seem to realize how she acted towards him.

"Inuyasha." Sesshomaru stated his name coldly.

"Get inside."

"But I dun wana stay at chur houce!" Inuyasha whined.

Sesshomaru just got out of the car and left Inside outside the house. He was going to die tomorrow.

Kagome had gotten back quite late that night and hoped that she wouldn't have large bags under her eyes tomorrow. She collapsed on the couch. It took a lot of time to treat Koga's injuries and she felt obligated to stay by his side until he had left. Kagome also felt it was her duty because Koga was her friend.

Kagome had more problems to worry about...like winning. She groaned and rolled over. There was absolutely no way that She was going to win a competition against so many contestants. Her body just didn't seem to be model quality. She sighed. It would be in her best interest to not take the competition very seriously. Her nerves kept her from a peaceful slumber. Kagome continued to toss and turn for the rest of the night.

Alright I felt I should stop here so I at least get this part out. Tomorrow or when im ungrounded (im not suppose to be on) Ill update with the second part. That will be the competition. I promise it will come super soon! PLEASE REVIEW! P I'm not forcing you to but it would be nice, Thankyou.
