Alone Forever

Landing gently atop the cliff he turned and sat down to watch the sunset. Taking a deep breath his thought began to wander.

What if, he thought, What if I am supposed tot live without love? Not that I don't love my friends because I do I love them like my siblings….well most of them.

"NO!" He said out loud. "No I can think of her that way. She is like my sister, nothing more. No matter what I want." Sighing he relaxed a little.

Staring out at the horizon he watched at the day turned to night. As he sun pasted below the mountains the tears came. He truly couldn't believe that he was crying but he was. Not only that but he was in love but he could be in love; could he?

"She would never love me though…not like I love her." He said aloud.

"You would be surprised Twinkle Toes." A voice interrupted his thoughts. Turning Aang saw her sitting behind him under a tree.

"Toph I…I didn't mean…It's not what you think…I was talking about…" Aang stuttered out but was interrupted by something that he didn't expect; laughter. Toph was laughing at him.

"What exactly is so funny?!?" Aang asked, wishing that his voice hadn't cracked when he said it.

"You Twinkle Toes, you think that you know everything." Shaking her head she stood up and moved over to him. She was now standing about a foot from him with an evil smirk on her face. "I know your mouths just hanging open so let's find a better use for it."

And with that she closed the gap between them and put her lips to his. Aang melted into her body wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer to him. With a chuckle Toph pulled back enough to look into Aang eyes.

"So I guess this mean you were talking about me earlier huh?"

"Yeah, I was. Toph I…I need to tell you something."

"What is it Aang?"

"Toph I love you. I think that I've always loved you since the first time we met."

"Oh Twinkle, I mean Aang…I love you too." She said laughing under her breath.

With a huge grin on his face Aang pulled Toph into a kiss to end all kisses. As his tongue found the dominance it had been seeking. As Toph moaned into his mouth Aang pushed her up against a tree and continued his assault.

Pushing him away slightly Toph said, "Hey there let me breath a little."

"Sorry, I guess…I don't know." He answered with chuckle.

Smiling Toph said, "I didn't want an apology I just want to get a breath in every now and then."

They both burst out laughing and sank to the ground wrapped in each others arms. Sighing in happiness Toph snuggled closer to Aang putting her head on his chest.

"You know what Aang?"

"What Toph?"

"I don't think that I have ever been this happy. And it's all because of you."

Tightening his arm around her in response he simply smiled. And whispered, "I love you more than life itself."
