Smoke was everywhere. All the students were rushing out at once. When Jess got outside, he could see the smokey school in flames. Miss Edmunds asked, "Are we missing somebody? Scott Hoager." she realized. Where was he? By this time fire trucks, the ambulance, and police cars, were all heading to the school at once. The firemen came into the school to look for people still in the school. All the teachers said they had all their kids except for Miss Edmunds. At this point the fire could not be stopped and the school was probably going to burn down. "I hope Scott Hoager is OK." Leslie said. "Why? All he ever did was bully us. If you ask me, he deserves it."
A fire man came out of the flaming school. "I'm sorry Miss, but we never did find the missing kid. I'm sorry." A few seconds later, the school burned down. "We have to put it out now. We could of never did it when the building was still in flames." Jess heard some kids saying that now they didn't have to go to school but they would find a place to teach. Probably at that Learning Center on Main Street. "The school is gone." Leslie said in awe. "And just thinking of Scott Hoager, he's probably dead now and his body burnt to ashes." "Probably? How would be able to survive in that school?" Jess stated.
