The sequel to "The Torino"

Starsky and Hutch were in Starsky's garage, working on the Torino. Starsky was working with the engine, while Hutch was working with the body; the paint was candy apple red. When Hutch finished the body, Starsky put the engine back in. "Now aren't ya' glad we drank a lot?" Hutch asked with a silly grin on his face.

"Hey, Hutch, maybe you should go sober up." Starsky said looking at Hutch, a great deal of concern in his gaze as he watched Hutch trip across the carpet to the couch.

Starsky went back to fixing his Torino when a noise caught his attention. He went to investigate and found Hutch sprawled on the floor, giggling. Starsky tapped him with his foot then went to collect the cans.

Starsky finished the last piece of the car and attached it then he placed the car back in the box, and pulled out his real project, a scale model of Hutch's LTD.

Starsky pulled out a hammer and lightly pounded in the dents. When he finished with applying dents, he put on the final layer of paint. When painted, it was a mismatched brown and yellow and green and etc. A little cracked clear plastic served as a windshield. Bright red bottle caps were the hubs. Finally, some seats from a toy car found in the gutter completed the car beautifully. He looked the car over one more time, then put it back into the shoe box, then set off to the task of taking Hutch home.

Two weeks later

"Why can't I drive it?" The blonde complained for the umpteenth time.

"'Cuz it's mine, and because I think better when I drive." The curly brunette replied, glancing at Hutch.

"Starsky!"

"Huh?" Starsky looked up, just in time to turn the model car into a beautiful skid, from which it then rolled, battering the poor vehicle into a small pile of metal and wood. "Not again."
