-AN: I don't own Naruto, also, if you're not up to date on the recent anime or manga chapters…this chapter might not make sense….

Previously:"Promise what?" He said in a low tone.

"That no matter what, you be hokage, that you take care of everyone here, that you succeed your dream, and that, you keep everyone happy…..Also, that you come back to Konoha, with Sasuke-kun."

"And you too, Sakura-chan." Naruto said as he gave her a warm hug. "Ok Sakura-chan, I promise that, no matter what happens."

"Thank-you…Naruto."

Chapter 13 - The Beginning Of The End…

"Sakura, I want you and Naruto to come with me to kill Orochimaru, when he attacks us." Sasuke said a little quietly. He didn't want to admit he might need help with killing the snake, but he did want to live long enough to kill Itachi.

"Sure Sasuke, of course. That's what me and Naruto planned to do anyways." Sakura said with a smile. Sasuke just breathed in deeply.

"Go to sleep now. We'll train with the others in the morning." Sasuke said before lying down, back facing her, getting ready to sleep. Sakura sat up on her bed and was about to lay down, but then she heard Sasuke whisper something. She could of sworn Sasuke said a silent 'thank you'.

Sakura laid down on her bed, but she couldn't sleep. At first it was because Sasuke thanked her, then she came to the thought if she still had old feelings for her raven haired teammate. Eventually, her thoughts led to the upcoming battle. Fear and determination, was what Sakura felt, as she thought of how she might lose some of her friends in the process of killing that snake. "What if I lose Ino, Hinata, Neji, Lee, Tenten, Shikamaru, Sasuke-kun, or even……Naruto." She thought. She laid there for a few more minutes until she couldn't take it anymore. She sat up from her bed, and slid off the side before waking up Naruto.

The morning sun lit the village, as all the shinobi prepared themselves for what was to come. Kiba and his team came earlier that morning and were now in the hospital. They brought news that Tsunade expected, Orochimaru was gathering all the rogue nins from all the shinobi countries for an all out war against Konoha.

Tsunade immediately called for help with all of the village's alliances. Gaara, and the rest of the sand village were on there way as the day loomed on. From the field country, Naruto and Sakura's old friend Sesame from the Fuuma clan were coming as well. Idate offered supplies to his old home, along with the grateful land of waves. Since the Naruto bridge was built, the land of the waves offered all they could to Konoha. The Star Village, though their main source of power was destroyed when Neji's team got there, the nins there were still able to hold their own. They quickly sent a small army to the leaf village's aid. The Rice, Snow, and Bird country also eagerly gave their assistance to Konoha. The queen of the snow country offered her special chakra armor along with weapons and food, hoping and asking if she could do more. Even the small curry shop that Naruto and Neji's team visited so long ago, came to their aid. The young boy with his extraordinary gift was sent straight to the hokage's office. With his ability to read and see chakra patterns, he would assist Shikamaru with coming up with strategies.

It's hard to believe that all these alliances were made by Naruto and his friends. When all of the different lands that Naruto and the rest were sent out to, heard of Konoha's distress, they all immediately did what they could to help. Tsunade thanked to Kami that she had such wonderful nins under her guide. If it's war Orochimaru wants, Tsunade will guarantee that they will kick his ass hard.

Neji's team along with the rookie nin, exception of Sai, Kiba, Ino, and Shino, were now in the training grounds. Each one of them trained with each other. Even Yamato came over to help with their training. He helped Naruto control his wind element manipulation, (latest manga) while Kakashi was still recovering.

Later that afternoon, Kiba, and the rest finally got out of the hospital.

"Bout time you came." Choji said as he sat down onto the floor in exhaustion.

"Are you sure you guys are ok enough to train?" Hinata asked the three in concern.

"Of course Hinata, who do you think we are!" Kiba said as she patted Akamaru on the head, as the large dog barked in agreement.

"Ok then, let's get started!" Tenten called out as she gathered the various weapons off the floor.

In the hokage's office, Sai sat down in a chair, in front of Tsunade's desk.

"So your sending me to watch him this time?" Sai asked.

"Hn. That's right." She said as she placed some documents off to the side of the desk. "You can never be too careful."

"So you need me to do anything else?"

"No."

"Ok, I'll be off then Hokage-sama." Sai said as he stood up. He gave her a bow and walked towards the door. Before leaving he whispered, "Though you do need some beauty cream."

"What was that!" Tsunade yelled.

"Nothing." Sai said before running out the door.

"That kid always has something to say, it's a mystery how Sakura and the rest didn't kill him." Tsunade said as she pulled out a bottle a sake from under her desk.

It was a little cloudy outside, and it looked like it would rain tonight. Sai arrived to the training grounds to see that everyone was trying to kill each other in an all out battle. He guessed it was a free for all since Naruto was attacking almost everything that moved. The thing that was odd to him was that Naruto didn't have or use his shadow clone technique. As Sai walked in the battle, Shikamaru decided to have some fun when he used his shadow technique to freeze him in place.

"You should really pay attention to your opponents." Shikamaru said as he stepped forward, forcing Sai to do the same. Neji then suddenly appeared right next to Shikamaru.

"You should take your own advise." Neji said smirking. "Two opponents with one attack." Neji quickly got in his position for his gentle fist attack.

"Ah shit." Shikamaru and Sai thought at the same time.

On the other side of the battle Sasuke was facing off with Naruto while dodging Tenten's barrage of weapons. Lee then used his Konoha whirlwind to distract the weapon mistress. Hinata and Sakura were fighting it out, as Ino, Choji, Kiba, and Shino attacked one another all at once. After about a half an hour of random aggression. The thirteen nins decided to take a brake.

"Damn that was fun!" Naruto yelled out as he laid down on the grass with the others around him.

"That, I can agree on." Sai said.

"Hey Yamato! Why don't you join us?" Naruto called out.

"No, I'm good. I need to leave soon anyway." Yamato answered.

"Well from what I saw today, I'd say I'm glad your on our side Sasuke." Shikamaru said. "Having you as an opponent would have been too troublesome."

"I agree." Both Tenten and Lee said together.

"Eh, he's not that tuff." Kiba said, joining in on the conversation. Others around him just stared with a raised brow. "Shut up wimps."

"Hmph." Sasuke said smirking, as he sat down next to his teammates.

"I hope Kakashi and the rest get better soon." Sakura said.

"Same here, forehead girl." Ino agreed.

"Yes, me too." Hinata said.

"Oi, Sakura-chan." Naruto called out, as the other began to converse with each other.

"Yeah, what Naruto?" Sakura answered.

"Another sparring match, Sakura-chan?" He asked grinning.

"Sure." Sakura said smirking. She stood up, and brushed herself off before following Naruto to a clearing near the others. Everyone just stared at the two.

"Oh no, not again." Ino said, placing a hand over her face while shaking her head.

Both Naruto and Sakura got in their fighting stances. "I never saw those two fight with each other before." Sasuke thought as he took interest in the fight.

"Now we can finish off our last fight." Naruto said.

"Great. It'll be fun to see how you progressed in wind manipulation." Sakura said as she put her black glove over her right hand.

After about a short minute the two launched toward each other.

"Neji, make sure they won't kill each other out there." Kiba told the Hyuuga.

"Yeah, I don't want Tsunade-sama to bite my head off again. Why do those two have to be so troublesome?" Shikamaru said as Neji paid close attention to the battle.

"Don't kill each other!" Ino yelled out as Naruto flew backwards, knocking down some trees.

"Yeah, they're going to get Shikamaru in trouble again." Tenten said, the others agreed.

"Don't give up Sakura-san!" Lee cheered.

Sakura lunged at Naruto as she took out a kunai and threw it straight at him. He caught the flying projectile and held onto it as his pink haired teammate approached him. Sakura took out another kunai and made an attempt to stab Naruto in the shoulder, but Naruto countered it with the kunai in hand. The two kunais clashed against each other and the two were at a stand off.

Sakura had a bad feeling when she saw Naruto starting to smirk. Soon after his kunai started to glow with his chakra.

"What the fuck!" Sakura thought as she saw her kunai starting to crack. She immediately backed off as her kunai was broken in half. "So that's the wind element." She thought as she got into a battle stance.

Naruto then decided to really test the kunoichi's skills.

"Mass shadow clone jutsu!" He called out as he made about a thousand clones, surrounding Sakura.

"Shit." Sakura muttered as she cracked her knuckles. From outside the battle, almost everyone went wide eyed.

"W-what the!" Ino stuttered staring at all the Naruto replicas.

"Sakura's screwed." Sai said.

"Shut up." Neji told him. "But yeah, she's going to have a hard time with this." He thought.

"Let's see what you can do Sakura." Sasuke thought, as he watched Sakura take out some clones that lunged straight at her.

"Son of a!" Sakura yelled out when she took out another small set of clones.

"Come on Sakura-chan, you can do better than this!" All the clones said in unison.

Naruto then did an all out attack against the kunoichi. One by one Sakura dodged left and right as clouds of smoke surrounded her. Sakura started to choke on the smoke and before she knew it she heard Naruto yelling out his famous combo.

"U-Zu-Ma-Ki!" Each of Naruto's clone called out the syllables in their last name. Sakura was shot up into the air, but she noticed something different. Unlike Naruto's regular redan, which had the original Naruto slamming the opponent with a kick, Sakura sensed four chakra patterns above her. Sakura spun around 180 degrees, as she faced the sky. Four shadows blocked out the sun as Sakura tried her best to dodge the incoming blows. She was able to knock down two of the clones, but the other clone along with Naruto were still able to deliver their hard blows. Before Sakura was sent straight down toward the mass of clones below, the original Naruto used her body as leverage, sending him higher into the air.

Once again, Naruto's clones used the first half of the redan to shoot Sakura back up into the air. As she was shot upward, she could feel a strong concentration of chakra above her. One of the clones she wasn't able to destroy trapped her in a body lock, stopping her from kicking or punching. Then she saw it, the real Naruto was heading down straight towards her, rasengan in hand.

"Ah fuck." She thought as she struggled to get free from the clone's grasp.

"Sakura-san!" Lee called out.

"Sakura!" Everyone else called out right after.

Hinata and the rest couldn't look away from the scene. "Is he crazy!" Hinata thought in fear of her friend's health.

Naruto and Sakura were closing in distance. Sakura was able to free herself, but she knew it was too late to escape Naruto's attack. Naruto extended out the arm that held the blue swirling mass of chakra as he aimed it straight at Sakura. At the last minute, Sakura bit her thumbs, letting the blood slowly spill out. She grabbed the clone and flipped it around so it was in front, back facing her, as she quickly did some hand seals. Just as Naruto was in mere inches away from her, she slammed her palm against the clones back.

From everyone's point of view from outside the battle, all they saw was that right when Naruto hit Sakura with his rasengan, a gigantic cloud of smoke appeared. Soon after they all heard a huge crash, which made the ground rumble. When some of the smoke disappeared, Sai and the rest were now staring at a huge slug. Sasuke and the others could just guess that the gigantic summoning destroyed all of Naruto's other clones, sine they all seemed to disappear. Minutes later the slug disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Hinata and the others immediately ran toward the battle site, hoping to find their comrades. Both Hyuugas activated their blood lines as Kiba and Akamaru tracked their scents. Akamaru and Neji found Sakura, while Kiba and Hinata found Naruto. Surprisingly, the two were about a hundred and ten meters away from each other, both of them in their own little craters sleeping soundly.

While all the other shinobi helped their comrades out of their craters, Shikamaru took his time looking over the damages.

"Shit, those two are so damn troublesome." He thought as he took notice of the, second-time, demolished training grounds.

"Wow." was all Sasuke and the rest could think as they brought the two to the hospital.

"AAAAGGGGGGAAAAAIIIINNNNN!" Tsunade yelled, causing everyone in the hokage tower to stop their activities.

Shikamaru took out his finger that were wedged in his ears, hoping he didn't go deaf.

"Yes, again Tsunade-sama." Shikamaru said a little afraid of the pissed off hokage.

In the hospital Sakura and Naruto woke up about an hour later, and found that everyone was there with them.

"Ooops." Was all Sakura and Naruto could say. Everyone sweat dropped.

"You guys ok?" Kiba asked. The two nodded.

"You guys just had to screw up the landscape again huh?" Ino asked, crossing her arms.

Then suddenly, the door was slammed open. "Ah, crap." both Naruto and Sakura said in unison.

"T-tsunade-sama….." Sakura stuttered.

"H-hi bbbaa-chan! Hehehe." Naruto said. But Tsunade's only reply was the cracking of her knuckles.

In a motel within an unidentified town, two Akatsuki members were discussing with each other.

"Deidara, you know what to do." Itachi said.

"Yeah, yeah. There's no fun in that plan though, yeah. The leader's too plain. No art or creativity in it at all, yeah. Can't we try my plan?" Deidara asked. Itachi merely glared at him. "N-never mind, yeah." Deidara said before closing the door behind him. Deidara leaned against the wooden frame as he muttered, "I was just joking. What a stubborn jackass." Within the same second, a kunai stabbed through the door right next to Deidara's neck.

"I was just kidding, yeah!" Deidara yelled out, as he ran out the building.

Deep in the forests, near Konoha, Orochimaru's army seemed to grow by the hour as more and more rogues, joined them. Kabuto checked each of the nins' capabilities and skills, separating them into teams.

"Orochimaru-sama, we should be ready in about three days." Kabuto said.

"Excellent." Orochimaru said as he looked at his army. "Kabuto, you did assemble a special team for our two special targets, right?"

"Well of course. They'll be sent out in two days as planned." Kabuto said as he readjusted his glasses. "How are your new arms?"

"Just fine."

"It's a shame the idiot killed himself before we could transfer you into his body."

"I do prefer this on though. Soon, I shall destroy that damn village." Orochimaru said before disappearing in a small burst of flame.

In the Konoha hospital, the members of team seven were left there as the others went back to train in the forest. Sai and Sasuke stayed with the two, since it was a little awkward to hang with the others without Naruto or Sakura.

"Shizune says we'll be fine by tonight." Sakura said as she healed some of the cuts on her arms.

"Why did you and the hag have to over do it again?" Sai asked.

"What did you call me!" Sakura said as she attempted to punch his face in, but Naruto tried his best to restrain the angry kunoichi.

"They'll never change." Sasuke thought as he looked out the window.

"Hey teme!" Naruto called out. Sasuke just turned his head to see that Sai was still making fun of Sakura. "Help me here god damnit!" the blond yelled as Sakura broke free from his grasp. Sasuke stopped Sakura too late, (maybe purposely), as she punched her teammate through the window.

"Shit." was all Naruto could say when he saw Sai shoot through the window. "Baa-chan's going to kill us…" He thought.

"Sakura, you should really do something about that anger of yours." Kakashi said as he entered the room.

"Kakashi-san!" the three nins said as their former teacher leaned against the wall.

"You're suppose to be in bed." Sakura said.

"I'm ok now. Shizune made sure of that." Kakshi said as he took out his Come Come Paradise book.

"You should really stop reading those, Kakashi-san." Sai said as he stepped into the room. One of his cheeks were swollen red, but he didn't seem to mind. Sasuke guessed that he was just used to the pain by now. Sakura just ignored his presence as she sat down on her bed next to Sasuke.

"I want to talk to you four about the upcoming war. You guys never been to one before, and I'm sure some things may disturb you." Kakashi said.

"There's nothing we can't handle." Sasuke said.

"Yeah!" Naruto agreed.

"Are you two sure by that? Can you still continue to fight even if, lets say Sakura, was killed right in front of you?"

"……."Sasuke just hmphed, as the others seemed to get the point. Kakashi closed hi book, and placed it in his vest pocket. He leaned against the wall, as he crossed his arms and stared at his teammates.

"Unlike a regular mission, this is going to be an all out assault. Chaos will surround you. So in other words, death is certain." Naruto gulped at those last three words. "The friends you may have today, might be lost forever. Trust me, these kind of things do happen, I would know." Kakashi said, bringing silence to the room. Sasuke remembered the talk he and his former teacher had the day he first left Konoha. "How about I kill all the ones important to you? Then lets see if you wouldn't want revenge." Sasuke said as he smirked. He was tied down on the trunk of a tree as Kakashi was lecturing him.

"Fine go ahead, I wouldn't really care…..Because all my important people are already dead." Kakashi said in a low voice. "They were all killed." Sasuke was shocked. Then he looked down sadly. "Sasuke, I've lived a lot longer than you. I guess you can say that we're very unlucky people." Kakashi loosened the wire around Sasuke. "But, somehow, we did manage to find important friends." Sasuke looked up the white haired jounin, and thought about Naruto and Sakura at the mention of important friends. "They're our important people now. Your strong, and you possess a lot of power." Kakashi took off the wire around Sasuke. "You should know what to do with that strength." The one eye nin the disappeared.

"War seems so pointless." Sai said, bringing Sasuke back to reality.

"We know." Sakura agreed.

"Well, so, just think about that. Also, Naruto don't forget to fight with your head, brute force won't always turn out to have a happy ending in the end." the white-haired jounin then stood up and left the room. After a couple of silent minutes, Sakura stood up.

"I need to go home now." Sakura said heading for the door.

"I'll walk you!" Naruto said as he stood up quickly.

"No, it's ok Naruto, really."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." Sakura then went out the door. A couple of minutes later, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sai left the hospital as well.

Sakura was walking down the streets when she felt like someone was following her. She turned around to find a deserted street. Sakura continued to walk, and then felt like someone was behind her again. She stopped and turned around again, to find no one there.

"Great, I'm becoming paranoid." She thought. She then turned around to bump into someone. Sakura muttered a 'sorry' to the person until she noticed that it was Neji.

"Were you following me?" Sakura asked.

"No. You're just being paranoid." Neji said as he continued on his way.

"No I'm not." Neji stopped, and faced her.

"Right…" Neji said a little sarcastically.

"Hey." Sakura playfully punched his shoulder.

"Well, anyways, you ok?"

"Yeah, I think my paranoia left."

"Not that, the war against sound, you ok with it?" Neji said looking at the kunoichi.

"Oh…" Sakura looked to the side, then to the ground, almost everywhere other than his eyes.

"Sakura?" Neji asked a little worried from her sudden silence.

"Yeah."

"I know you're ready for it…" Neji put his hand on her shoulder. "Because I know you."

"Thanks Neji."

"You sure you're ok?"

"Yeah, of course." She said smiling.

"Alright…Oh, and next time try not to destroy the training area." Sakura's eye twitched. " I'll see you tomorrow."

"Jerk." She muttered before continuing on her way.

"I heard that." he called out.

"Shit." After a while it started to rain. The night grew darker and it seemed like it could be a storm. "Why the hell does it have to rain tonight?" Sakura thought. Suddenly, someone placed an umbrella above her.

"Sasuke-kun?" Sakura said a little shocked.

"You never seem to come prepared for the weather these days." Sasuke said, as he started to walk forward. Sakura walked next to him under the umbrella.

"Where the heck did you get the umbrella anyways?"

"Some nice old lady lent it to me."

"And I'm suppose to believe that?"

"Unless you believe in Kakashi's late excuses, then yes." Sakura just laughed lightly to herself. "What's so funny?" He asked.

"The great Uchiha is actually making jokes?"

"Hmph."

The two kept silent, and they both felt awkward. It suddenly started to rain even harder.

"You fought well today." Sasuke said.

"Thanks."

"Are you ready for the war?"

"….I, don't know." She answered truthfully. "Am I ready?…" Sakura thought. Then she remembered what Kakashi said earlier, "Unlike a regular mission, this is going to be an all out assault. Chaos will surround you. So in other words, death is certain… The friends you may have today, might be lost forever. Trust me, these kind of things do happen, I would know" .

"Sakura….Sakura?" the kunoichi broke out of her thoughts to see that her teammate was staring at her.

"..Oh, sorry Sasuke-kun."

"You shouldn't be scared."

"It's hard not to be."

The two walked all the way to Sakura's apartment, and stopped at her door. They both were under the door's old outer frame which was designed to keep out the rain when opening the door. The old outer frame started to creak a little under the pressure of the water, but the two didn't seem to mind.

"Sakura, you can't let fear control you when you fight." Sasuke said as he closed his umbrella.

"It never really did before, but now…It seems different." Sakura said as she leaned against the door.

"Well what's the difference now? I know there will be casualties, there always are, but who said it would be one of us?"

"How do you know it won't be one of us? What if I can't save them? What if-" but she was cut off.

"What if we win the war, rid the snake of this world, and see another day with everyone with us?" Sasuke said. Sakura stayed silent for a minute.

"…That would be worth fighting for." She said with a smile.

"Hn."

"Thanks Sasuke-kun." Sasuke just smirked as he opened his umbrella again.

"Uh, Sasuke-kun, it's raining like crazy, you want to come inside or something?"

Sasuke just looked at her before thinking about whether he should take his teammate's offer or not. Sasuke opened his mouth to answer, but right before he was able to form the words, the old door's outer frame broke down, spilling about a gallon of cold rain water on them.

"Holy shit that's cold!" Sakura yelled out.

"Hn." Sasuke closed his umbrella, seeing that it's useless now, and leaned it on the wall next to the door.

"I guess you're going to stay then?"

"Hn."

"Can you at least say something other than hn?"

"Eh." Sakura sweat dropped. "He was so talkative earlier, god damnit."

Sakura opened the door and went inside, Sasuke right behind her.

"Sit down, I'll bring some towels, and new clothes." Sakura said before leaving the room. "New clothes? Where would she get new clothes for me?" Sasuke thought. He decided to dismiss the thought as he looked around the living room. He sat down on the couch, and closed his eyes. The only thing that came to mind now was that, it was really quiet. Sakura was only a couple of steps away in another room, and yet, the only sound heard was the ticking of the clock that hung on the wall, opposite of where he was sitting. "It seems so…Lonely here…"

Sakura came into the room with a towel around her shoulder, and another towel, along with spare clothes in her arms. Sasuke got off the couch and took the towel an dthe spare clothes. It was just another plain black shirt, the one Naruto wore under his jacket, and some sweat pants, like the one Tenten wore.

"Um, the gang likes to hang around here once in a while." Sakura said, answering the questioning gaze Sasuke let out when looking at the familiar clothing.

"Thanks." Sasuke said as he went to the bathroom to change.

Sakura went into the kitchen and started to boil some water for tea, when someone knocked on the door.

"Coming!" Sakura called out, as she headed toward the door.

She opened the door to find Hinata, Ino, and Tenten at the door.

"Hey Sakura-chan!" The three kunoichies said in unison.

"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" Sakura asked a little surprised.

"We came by to see if you were ok." Ino said, as she and the rest entered Sakura's apartment.

"We already checked on Naruto-kun." Hinata said.

"He was at Ichiraku's." Tenten said.

"Does he live there? I always see him there." Ino asked Hinata. The timid girl just nodded.

"So Sakura, you ready to-" Tenten stopped when she and the rest heard the door to the bathroom open.

"S-sasuke-kun!" Ino, Tenten, and Hinata said, shocked. Sasuke just stood there with an emotionless look on his face, towel in his right hand. He did his best to keep calm, but in his mind he yelled "Crap."

"I can't believe you finally got him Sakura!….And he's in my spare pants too." Tenten said. Sasuke sweat dropped.

"No no no! It's nothing like that! We got soaked in the rain and-" Sakura tried to explain, but Ino cut her off.

"Riiiight forehead girl." the blond said. "I can't wait to tell Shikamaru!"

"What!" Sakura yelled.

"Does Naruto-kun know about this?" Hinata asked.

"No!…Wait, I mean, what is there to know! There's nothing going on between us!"

"Great! Lee owes me twenty bucks." Tenten said.

"You bet on me!" Sakura said in disbelief.

"Yup, and I just got twenty bucks!"

"Damn, I should of bet too!" Ino said.

"It's weird though, I always thought you liked Sai or Neji." Tenten said. Everyone went quiet and stared at the weapon mistress.

"Say what!" Sakura and the rest yelled.

"I'm going to leave." Sasuke said, heading toward the door.

"No Sasuke-kun, just, uh, ah, gah,…" Sakura let out a sigh. As she headed to the door too. Sasuke stepped outside, with Sakura behind him. Before Ino or Tenten could say another word, Sakura quickly shut the door behind them.

"Sorry about that Sasuke-kun." Sakura said embarrassed, as she picked up his umbrella, and handed it to him.

"Whatever." Sasuke took the umbrella and opened it. "Get some sleep, if you can, and prepare for the upcoming battle."

"Ok, bye Sasuke-kun." Sakura said. Sasuke waved goodbye as he left. "Hyuuga, and Sai…Che. Those kunoichies are crazy." Sasuke thought.

"Ah crap. Kami, why…" Sakura thought when she opened the door to see her three smirking friends.

Two days later, it was about the designated time that Shikamaru predicted that Orochimaru would attack. Naruto and the restrained their asses off And today might be the day that their efforts would pay off. It may also be the last day they see the world, along with their loved ones.

Tsunade stood on top of the tower, with Gaara, and the elders by her side. Below her were every shinobi in the Leaf Village, along with their allies.

"Tonight, we will battle with those who want to destroy our village." Tsunade began. "But I'll be damned before I ever let that ever happen!" A round of cheers came from below.

"We will fight. Not for only this village, this country, or even any other country, but for the ones important to us. We can not allow this bastard to take control. Are we going to let this snake take what's ours?" A loud cheer of 'Hellno' came from below.

"Hmph, Gaara's getting good at this." Naruto thought, as he stood next to his comrades.

In the forest, all the rogues gathered round when Kabuto called forth for attention.

"Finally, now is the time to attack the fire country. This will be the war of the century." The rogues cheered loudly.

"And remember, Orochimaru-sama does NOT EXCEPT FALIURE!" Kabuto yelled out.

"Hai!" The army yelled.

"Now get ready to attack leaf tonight." Orochimaru said. The rogues quickly separated and prepared for the upcoming attack.

"Kabuto, sent out the team." Orochimaru whispered to the white haired nin.

"Of course." Kabuto said, before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

On the border of the fore country, six men in Akatsuki robes were conversing with one another.

"Itachi, you have everything ready I'm sure." said Hidan.

"Yes I am." Itachi said.

"Um, Deidara-sama, what exactly is the plan." Tobi asked.

"Why the heck is the kid here?" Hidan asked. The other seemed to think the same thing.

"This is what were have planned, yeah." Deidara said as he pointed toward Kakuzu who held a key glowing with chakra.

"What's that for?" Tobi asked. "Dumbass." Itachi and Hidan thought.

"You'll see kid, you'll see." Kakuzu said smirking.

"Itachi, you know what to do when the time comes." Deidara thought as he looked at the Uchiha. As if he read Deidara's mind, Itachi nodded without looking at him.

Next time: "Let's kick some Sound ass!"…"Sakura, Naruto, let's go."…"Neji your team, and Hinata, your team, with me now!"…"The snake has to wait I guess, Kabuto, you'll die first…"

AN: Eh….Sry the update took so freaken long….I went on vacation, and I stood up almost all night writing this tonight. So if things are confusing, or messed up, just ask and I'll try and clarify it for you. (Damn I'm tired.) Well, thx for reading, I really appreciate it a lot!
