Alice POV
Vision Emmett chases Rose through the forest, "Rose!" he calls desperately.
"Rosalie! Come back! Where are you?"
Emmett thinks desperately to himself, what have I done? Now I might not ever get Rose back. My angel who saved me, not being able to be with me…ever again.
Emmett breaks down, something he has never done before. He slides down into the muddy grass and puts his head in his hands. His shoulders shake and he just sits there.
Jasper POV
Alice has another one of her visions. Right after she came out of it, I held her tighter. She sobs uncontrollably, tearlessly, and hopelessly. I'm too shocked to send anyone calm waves. The sobs shake my wife's whole body as she clings to me; I run my hand down her arm, trying to calm her. That seems to do nothing.
My poor brother and sister. I never thought in my whole existence that they would separate, I mean, they are Rose and Emmett. Emmett, my huge bear of a brother and Rosalie, my tenacious, beauty queen of a sister. They belonged to each other like grizzly bears and fur, or vampires and venom.
Edward POV
I flinch back at the vision in Alice's head. Emmett….crying, or rather, tearlessly shaking? That's not the strong brother that I know.
I explain to the others about what Alice saw.
I of all people, could understand what Emmett was thinking, how he was feeling. If Bella ran away like that now, I would be heartbroken, no, worse…I would be distorted, distorted with grief and pain. Not knowing how to move on.
When I made the biggest mistake of my life, I felt like I was never going to see Bella again. I'm sure this is how Emmett feels.
Carlisle POV
