A/N : Don't own doctor who. Short chapter I know but I'm putting most of my energy in my other story. I've really tried to make this chapter a bit better than the first but I don't really know if it's worked out. I might put this story on hiatus if I don't think it's going anywhere.

Jenny finally had her chance to escape but something held her back. Maybe it was because she wasn't so keen on the idea of running out of here with no clothes or because she'd finally realised the flaw in her plan. She didn't know the way out or if anybody was out there guarding her. Jenny sighed and lay back down and Jack re-entered the room. "We'll do the scan in a bit but first I'd like to get to know you, starting with your name, you never told me what it was" Jack said moving to one side of Jenny.

"Oh my names..er..Donna" Jenny lied thinking back to the woman who had named her. Donna had been the first person to show her some compassion despite how she was made. She'd never forget her for that.

"Nice name. Where you from?"

"Messaline" Jenny answeared this time truthfully.

"Messaline? never heard of it. So your a scientist you say?" Jack asked intereasted.

"Yes I'm a scientist of..." Jenny racked her brains trying to think of something."Of aliens" she finished lamely.

"Aliens? well that's fantastic. We could use another hand here at torchwood" Jack replie with a grin. Jenny was so nervous she was shaking like a leaf. What would happen if they found out the truth? what about the scan? maybe she could think up a good excuse to avoid it.

"I'll help torchwood if you don't do the scan" Jenny heard herself say two minutes later. Jack frowned at her.

"Why? you could be hurt"

"I'm fine, I heal pretty quickly. It's because of where I'm from" Jenny replied as calmly as possible.

"Okay but I'm still going to get a doctor to look at you. Martha!" Jack called to whoever was outside the room. Martha? that name sounded familier but Jenny didn't think too much of it as she figured there were many Martha's on this planet. But then the door swung open and very familier, dark skinned, woman walked in and her eyes widened as she saw Jenny.

"Martha?" Martha heard Jack call her name and knew she was wanted to check out the latest alien casualty. Martha got off the seat she was sitting on and walked into the medical room where a very familier blonde girl was lay on the table. Martha's eyes widened in shock as she recognised Jenny. Jenny was alive and on Earth. She instantly thought to grab her mobile and ring the doctor but at the moment she needed to find out some answears to the many questions spinning in her head.

"Jenny" Martha said walking over to the right side of the table. Jenny looked frightened for some reason.

"Her name's Donna" Jack corrected Martha but Martha looked at him confused.

"Donna? she told you her name was Donna?"

"Yes and that's her name" Jack replied sounding vaguely iritated with Martha.

"No it's not. Jenny how did you get here?" Martha said ignoring Jack.

"Erm...my ship crashed" Jenny explained sounding nervous. Jack glanced at Jenny in suprise.

"Is your name Donna or Jenny? have you been lying to me?" he sounded angry and Jenny flinched.

"Look I lied to protect myself" she snapped defensively."You have no idea what I've been through"

"He thinks your dead" Martha said still shocked.

"I did die kind of but I woke up and found you'd gone. So I stole a ship and I've been travelling around the universe all this time until an aestroid hit, I went down and now I'm kind of stuck here".

"Wait a minute, what did you mean when you said you lied to survive?" Jack asked confused."And how do you know her?" he glanced at Martha who had taken a seat in a metal chair.

"I went off with the doctor and Donna, accidently may I add, and we ended up on Messaline where they used machines to procreate. Jenny came out of one" Martha explained not giving away Jenny came from the doctor. She didn't think it was her place to say anything. Jenny looked very sad all of a sudden.

"I was tortured, imprisoned and used for experimentation when I landed on my first planet. It was the worst thing that had ever happened to me and there was no one to save me except myself. There, you happy?" Jenny snapped. "Now can I have some clothes?" Jack nodded and left the room. Martha looked at Jenny concerned.

"Your just like your dad. He doesn't like talking about things that hurt him too".

"I don't want to remember it, it was a horrible memory and I don't like to look back. I just move on" Jenny sighed.

"Yep your exactly like the doctor" Martha smiled weakly.

"Do me a favor?" Martha nodded even though she didn't know what it was Jenny wanted but she figured the girl deserved a break."Don't tell Jack or anyone about what I am or who my dad is". Martha nodded again but this time in understanding. She wasn't suprised in the least that after everything the girl had been through she wanted to keep herself a secret. Martha looked at the blonde woman and vowed to herself to look after Jenny since she was stuck on Earth and knew nothing about it. Then she would find the doctor and reunite them. Martha smiled to herself then got up to check up out Jenny's injuries.
