Jenny opened her eyes and instantly jumped up onto her feet. She was suprised to see that everything looked normal and nothing had changed, but if that was true what was with the big bang that had awoken her?. Suddenly she heard voices and she whizzed around to see a very bewildered couple standing there. One of them was a man, wearing a leather jacket, green jumper and black pants. He also had rather big ears. Beside him was a young blonde wearing a red hoodie. She was staring at the man, looking completely confused.Jenny soon learned why. "How the hell did we get here?" she demanded."One minute we're running away from that sebalian tribe and then theres a flash of light and puff, we're in a feild in the middle of nowhere!" . The man looked offended.

"What you having a go at me for? I didn't do it on purpose" he replied and whipped out a very familier sonic screwdriver from his jacket pocket. Jenny's eyes widened. She remembered back on Messaline, her father had the exact same one. But it couldn't be, could it? maybe there was a shop that sold them or something. Jenny decided not to dwell on it. Just as Jenny was about to slip away, the couple finally caught sight of her. Everything in Jenny stilled, she didn't trust this mysterious couple who'd just shown up after she heard the loud bang. "Who are you?" the man asked frowning at her. Jenny whipped her blonde hair out of her face to glare at him.

"I should be asking you that. Your the one who just showed up out of thin air afterall" she snapped. Weird things seemed to be the theme of today and frankly, she'd had quite enough.

"I'm the doctor" he replied simply. Jenny's eyes widened. The doctor and his blonde companion exchanged glances as they noticed Jenny's shocked expression.

"Your not the doctor" she said coldly after she'd recovered.

"Yes I am and you still haven't answeared my question" 'the doctor' said in a northern accent.

"Nice try, I've met the doctor and your not him" Jenny smirked. This guy thought he was smart trying to con her but he was so busted. To Jenny's annoyance he didn't looked embarssed or ashamed, he was just frowning at her. And so was the blonde.

"What year is this?" he asked her and Jenny looked at him as if he'd grown another head.

"two thousand and eight, wiseguy" the blonde looked shocked by this.

"Doctor, we're two years into the future!" she gasped in shock. "How the hell did we get here without the tardis?"

"I think we were pulled here by a retro-dimension teleportation magnet" he replied nochantly.

"A what?" Jenny asked equally as confused as the blonde.

"Basically a time travel magnet. But why?" he asked glancing at the blonde now as if she held all the answears.

"How am I suppose to know doctor? I've only been travelling with you for a few months" she snapped, staring at him. As soon as Jenny heard the word travelling, she remembered the sonic screwdriver and put two and two together.

"How are you the doctor?" Jenny asked hesitantly.

"Oh well since your two years into the future, I guess I must of regenerated or something by now. It's what my kind do when they're dying" The blonde looked at him suprised. Apparently it was her first time learning about it too.

"You what? what do you mean regenerate?" the blonde asked.

"I change my face, voice, body, everything" he replied casually, however the blonde looked at him in alarm.

"You could of said something before! I mean what if we end up on a planet, you get hurt like I expect you will one of these days and you have to regenturate?"

"Regenerate " he corrected the blonde."If I do, it'll still be me" he replied and then turned to face Jenny."Now can you possible tell us who you are and where are we?" Jenny simply stood there staring but at the same time felt very disappointed that he wasn't actually her father, well at least her current one anyway. She really hoped to see him again, she needed him now more than ever but how could she possibly find him when he thought she was dead?.

"Doctor, slow down! " Martha gasped as she chased the doctor down a long, street in Cardiff.The doctor wasn't listening his mind was on other things, mainly Jenny. He took out his sonic screwdriver to see if he could detect any alien lifeform nearby but it was no good. She wasn't hiding down this street. Martha looked at him sympathically.

"I know how desperate you are to find Jenny but I'm only human" she said, gasping for breathe.

"I don't get it, we've searched high and low and she's not anywhere!" he yelled, looking distraught. She understood how he must feel, finally getting his daughter back only to lose her again. Martha felt sad, he'd lost so many people in the last year that she really wanted to find Jenny for him. He needed her now more than ever. And Jenny needed him too after everything that she'd been through on that planet she mentioned. Suddenly Martha was hit with inspiration.

"Doctor what about your sonic screwdriver? doesn't it detect alien lifeforms?". The doctor slowly turned and grinned at Martha.

"Of course, I didn't think of that! Martha Jones you are a genius!" he pulled her into a hug but quickly released her before pulling out his sonic screwdriver and running in some random direction. Martha found herself quickly following.

Jack was back at torchwood and he had a bad headache. Today had been a long, hard day and extremely weird. Jack knew that Jenny had been in desperate need of medical attention but instead of accepting his help, she'd attacked him and legged it somewhere. He knew that he should be out there looking with Martha and the doctor but that alien was completely mental. But something had been tugging at Jack's minds all afternoon, after he'd seen the doctor with Jenny. What exactly did Jenny mean to the doctor? it seemed that she meantquite alot. But it wasn't right, the doctor was in love with Rose wasn't he? he was the last time he checked. How did he and Jenny meet?J ack suddenly felt something like jealous rush through him but he quickly shrugged it off. He wasn't jealous of the doctor. How could hebe?, he'd only met Jenny a day ago. Yeah she was pretty but she crazy too. Hell, it wasn't any of his bussiness anyway. But if the doctor loved Jenny, Jack didn't have a probelm with it. Did he?.
