A/N : This is a pretty short chapter and it's the final one. I just wanted to get this story finished because to tell you the truth, I'm lacking inspiration for it but I still tried my best to wrap things up nicely. Please review a final time.

Nine months after leaving Cardiff, the tardis found itself back there again to refuel. Jenny felt her stomach doing flips at the thought of seeing Jack again. She had to talk to him after the way she left things and she'd been thinking lately, maybe she'd seen enough of the universe?. She'd missed him badly and it seemed like her and the Doctor's relationship was stronger than ever now. They'd also picked up a new companion so he wouldn't be lonely. Her name was River Song and they'd met on this small but beautiful planet they were visiting. Some aliens had shown up, tried to invade, they'd ran into her and some weird reason, it seemed like her dad already knew her. Jenny forgot to ask but now she was thinking it was time for her to leave and live her life here. On Earth. With Jack. The tardis matarilised in Cardiff centre, just near the hub. Jenny ran out and her eyes searched all around for signs of the captain but he wasn't anyone in sight. "Dad" Jenny ran back in and it seemed he knew what she was about to ask before she'd said it.

"Go on, go".

"Where are you off too?" River asked, walking into the console room.

"To see a friend" Jenny grinned and ran out of the tardis.

Jack had heard the tardis from inside the hub. Martha had looked at him as if to tell him to go up there and see her but something held him back. Maybe it was because he didn't really have the faintest idea of what he was going to say to her. Was he just going to let her leave again? Jack had made up his mind and left the hub. The cool, Cardiff air attacked him as he stepped outside. And there she was, standing there, waiting. She was smiling and looking like an angel. Her blonde haired had been left down but she was in the leather pants and green t-shirt she'd been in when they'd first met."Hello Jack".

"Jenny, what are you doing here?" he asked even though he knew.

"Dad's refueling, I needed to see you. How've you been?"

"Good I suppose but I've missed you. Crazy isn't it? we barely knew each other for a day but I missed you" she smiled at that.

"I missed you too Jack and I've decided to stay" Jenny said, shocking Jack.

"Really? what about the Doctor?"

"He has River now. He'll be able to visit whenever he wants. Afterall he has got a time machine" she smiled and shrugged then ran into his open arms. They hugged and then finally kissed. It had been months but she tasted as good as she had when he'd first kissed her.

"Jack get your paws off her!" came a voice and he saw the Doctor, holding hands with some woman, walking towards him.

"This is the famous captain Jack then?" the woman asked him and he assumed the woman must be the River Jenny just mentioned.

"Yep" he replied, popping the p.

"Oh I'm famous?" Jack asked, raising an eyebrow.

"He's told me alot about you" River said politely.

"Oh great you must hate me too then" River chuckled.

"Not all of it was awful. He said you'd saved the world with him"

"So Jenny where do you want to go next?" the Doctor asked her, changing the subject.

"I'm staying with him now, dad" she said softly. The Doctor didn't look too suprised.

"I thought so. Jack you better treat her well or else I'll come back and chuck you into the vortex. No Joke" the Doctor said, looking dead serious. Jack gulped.

"Of course I'm going look after her, I love her" he snapped and Jenny stared at him, suprised.

"Did you just say you loved me? for the first time? infront of my dad?". Jack turned bright red. Jenny grinned."Don't worry, it's alright. I love you too, you cocky jerk" She punched him playfully and then kissed him. The Doctor looked like he was going to projectile vomit.

"Stop it!" he barked. River Song grinned."There better be a wedding if you insist on doing that" Jenny glared at him.

"Dad we've only just started dating". Behind them the tardis started to howl signalling it refuelled.

"We're going to go now" the Doctor said, smiled at River and then pulled Jenny in for a hug. They stayed like that for a while.

"Jenny are you sure about this?"the Doctor asked her and she nodded.

"I love him. I'm going to take that job at torchwood if it's still available" Jenny said looking at Jack for confirmation.

"Of course, I've been saving it for you" he grinned.

"Great" she turned back to her dad."I'm going to miss you. You two better visit". The Doctor hugged her again and kissed her check.

"Of course I am. I'm going to have to triple check he hasn't broken your heart which I suspect he will" he said glaring at Jack.

"So are we going now or what?" River asked smiling at the father and daughter. The Doctor nodded, took her hand and took one last look at Jenny before getting into his ship. This time both Jack and Jenny stood together and watched the tardis fade away.

"So back to torchwood?"

"Yes" Jenny replied and followed on behind him into the hub and to start her new adventure on Earth.
