Thanks to the one person who Favorited. That made my day since this is my first fic =)
Gilbert had always been lonely. He was used to it by now. His brother Ludwig tried to get him to go out of his apartment, but Gilbert knew it wouldn't help him. He hated looking out on the people on the streets, all smiling and happy. He thought no one was as lonely as he was. He had accepted it, and choose to live that way.
But one day, he walked by his window, and saw a girl staring out the window at the people below. He looked at the girl, and felt she was staring at him too. He smiled, though he doubted she could see it. He could tell that she was lonely too. Someone as lonely as he was. He continued to stare at her, and she never broke her gaze. He felt an odd sensation in his chest, but didn't look away. He was full of emotions he hadn't felt in a long time, he knew he didn't want this to end.
But the girl waved at him goodbye. He waved back, feeling as if he would never see her again. She quickly turned away and walked away from her window. He stood there for a few minutes, silently hoping she would come back, but she never did. He took a deep breath, and walked away from the window.
The next day, he didn't go near his window. The emotions from yesterday confused him, and he didn't want them to return. He felt that she was looking for him, but he couldn't return them, he knew the feelings would just hurt him again…
I think this chapter was weaker then the first one…*Cries* They're both so short ; ;
Sorry again if Gil or Liz was to OOC!
