Waiting for you, I lean against the wall. But there's a sound above me, and I see a black-clad foot disappearing up the ladder I should have climbed. Leaning backwards, I see a faint hint of blond fluff for hair, and I know it immediately. I know them immediately, and the voice only confirms what I already knew.

You disappear together, and I think,
