Seaver couldn't believe it.
Emily Prentiss was dead.
Emily had always seemed so strong, the kind of person you could almost never picture being killed. She was rendered absolutely speechless when JJ had come in and told her she hadn't made it off the table.
Despite only knowing Emily a few months, she felt as if she'd known her a lifetime. She partially blamed herself. Recently she'd spent more time with her than anyone else on the team. Looking at the coffin she let her head drop.
She wasn't sure how long it would be until she could speak again
