A/N- First real chapter! This one introduces Taylor and her sister, Alyssa. Please review so I know what to do and stuff. :)

Gustavo dropped me and Alyssa off at the infamous Palmwoods. He told me that a limo would pick me up at 10 in the morning tomorrow. He also warned us of his 'dogs,' and that they would hound me, especially a guy named James. He said they were troublemakers, but I guessed they couldn't be that bad.

When we started to walk to the entrance, Alyssa said, "Wow, a limo! You've got a ride, a music deal, and soon-to-be fame! I need something to keep up with you."

"Well, you could get a job somewhere. I mean, come on, We're in L.A. For crying out loud! Didn't you want to be an actor?" We both smiled at a distant memory.

"Okay, deal," Alyssa said, holding the door for me, "you get your stuff, and I'll subscribe to ten different L.A. Newspapers so I can find a decent acting job."

"Aw, don't act sad! Not bad by the way. You have this place to relax in and search for a job, while I work my butt off for hours at a time!" I said and smiled, knowing I would get jealous of her.

"You're right. Okay, let's get our room so we can head up, unpack, and sleep," Alyssa said, then turning to a man behind the front desk whose name tag read "Manager, Mr. Bitters." Alyssa asked for room 2K, the room Gustavo gave us.

Mr. Bitters led us to our room, gave us a quick tour and rules, and left grumpy. Alyssa and I unpacked hastily, ready to relax. I left a little while later because I wanted to go meet people, making sure I had my cell and iPod. When I walked next door to room 2J, I didn't expect four teenage guys racing down the hall to the door I stood in front of. They stopped short and the tall blonde one said, "Hey, are you new here?"

"Yeah, me and my sister just moved in next door. My name is Taylor, and I am going to be famous. What are your names?"

The blonde said, "My name is Kendall, this is Logan," pointing to the brunette with a cute half-smile, "Carlos is the one with the helmet, and pretty boy over here is James."They all smiled.

James exclaimed, "We're Big Time Rush. We're gonna be famous too!"

"It was nice to meet you all," I said, "are you the 'dogs' Gustavo warned me about? Cuz if you are, I don't care what he said. You guys don't seem like pranksters."

Logan said, "thanks, but you're working with Gustavo too? That's cool! We could work together or something."

"Yeah, that would be great. Well, I gotta get back, I'll see you guys later?"

I heard a mish-mosh of "yeah," "see you later," "bye" and "nice to meet you" over my shoulder. I waved goodbye before walking into my apartment, sitting on the couch, and falling asleep.
