So it's been a while… ^^; Hope you guys will enjoy reading this! Also, I will apologize in advance if Gouenji will be OOC.
Disclaimer: Rain does not own Inazuma Eleven or any of its characters. She only owns Emi and the very cliché plot.
"Which Junior High are you gonna study in? There's Kidokawa Seishuu, Teikoku…" Linda, one of my closest friends in the hospital asked.
She's confined due to Hepatitis A. Fortunately; she's recovering from the illness. She'll be able to leave the hospital in a few weeks or so according to her doctor.
I shrugged, "Beats me, they said I might as well wait for tomorrow to find out."
I looked out the room's window. The scenery out there… I'll finally get to see it out of this building… As the sun started to set, I couldn't help but sigh. Make my life worthwhile huh? It sounds simply impossible to me.
The day finally came that I'll be attending regular school. My parents decided I try walking despite my health. The doctors said it might help my heart or something like that. Well let's hope I don't faint and cause an episode shall we? Upon stepping out the hospital, a shiver ran up my spine. The breeze, the scenery finally up close... it's beyond words.
"New around here?" A voice said from behind.
I turned to find a boy around my age. He had brown hair and was wearing an orange headband. He seemed like the cheery person you can become great friends with, but that's just a feeling of mine. I nodded and brought out the map my parents gave me from my bag.
He took a quick glance and grinned, "Follow me!"
We arrived in a school called Raimon Junior High. I checked the map once more to make sure this was the right place and it seemed like it was.
"Thanks so much!" I bowed, "I hope to make up for this someday."
The boy scratched the back of his head, "It's nothing really. I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Endou Mamoru!"
"Mizuki Emi, it's an honor to meet you Endou-kun."
"Any idea what your room number is?"
Come to think of it my parents didn't even mention that. Are they planning on letting me wander around town aimlessly? I shook my head and looked down the ground due to feeling quite embarrassed. I felt like some lost puppy looking for a place to stay…
Luckily, Endou knew someone who could help us. According to him he's friends with the chairman's daughter, Raimon Natsumi. It took some time looking for her but not enough that we were about to be late for class. The two of us walked the halls of the school until a girl with long auburn hair approached us.
"Endou-kun, shouldn't you be in practice?" She said, giving him a stern look.
Endou stepped back a bit, "Hehe… I know but…" He introduced me, "But Emi here is new."
"You mean Mizuki Emi?"
I nodded, "I'm kinda horrible with directions."
Natsumi gave me a sincere smile, "Alright Endou-kun, I'll take it from here."
She led me to Room 2-2. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to feel relieved or scared. I've never made that much friends in my life. Linda was the one who started talking to me when she saw me all by myself. How am I going to survive this place?
Natsumi chuckled, "Don't worry about students picking on you. Almost all of them are civilized and sane if I may add."
Somehow, she was able to boost my confidence with her words.
"Thank you, Natsumi-san." I grinned.
She replied, "It's no problem at all. If you need any help just call, okay?"
I entered the classroom as a bunch of students gazed at me. It felt hard to shrug off the feeling of being stared at. I sighed. This is going to be one hell of an awkward day… I took my seat nearby the window. Somehow, it felt like I was in the hospital again…
Minutes passed and the school bell rang. A guy with fiery white hair entered the room. He sat right beside me. I didn't mind I guess. The teacher entered the classroom seconds after.
She greeted us, "Morning class,"
She settled her bag on the teacher's table and afterwards looked around. Once she noticed me, she smiled. She gave me a gesture to stand and with that, I obeyed.
"Class, this is Mizuki Emi-chan. She's been homeschooled for quite a while but her parents have decided her to attend classes here from now on. I hope you students can make her feel welcomed around Raimon." She said in an enthusiastic tone and then looked at me, "I'm Ms. Toriumi. What about you say something about yourself, Ms. Mizuki?"
I gave a small smile. I couldn't think of anything to say so I decided to take my seat. Ms. Toriumi pouted.
"Aw, she's shy… then again, you can't blame her… " She said, "Gouenji-kun."
She called a name of a student and to find out he was actually the guy beside me. Taking a better look at him… Wow… I mean, just- ugh… what's happening to me? I don't know if I should consider myself lucky right now.
"Please give Ms. Mizuki the tour around here." Ms. Toriumi said.
He nodded, "Sure."
I raised my hand as a sign of protest but decided to put my hand down and not say a thing. Our discussion was about Science, my favorite topic. I actually wanted to become a nurse when I was younger.
The class finished in a flash, not really what I expected. Ms. Toriumi knew how to keep the class lively at the same time fruitful during the lecture unlike my tutor who makes me fall asleep during my lessons. Supposedly I was going to have lunch all by myself but miss insisted I have it with Gouenji. As much as I said no to her suggestion, she ended up forcing me to. She dragged me to the rooftop of the school. Gouenji was staring at the sight.
"What am I supposed to say?" I asked.
Ms. Toriumi sighed, "Greet him, start a conversation, it all depends on you!"
I don't think my poor heart will withstand this… I took a deep breath and walked towards Gouenji. My heart started to palpitate...
I'll end it from here first. Hope you guys enjoyed reading and please don't forget to review! I actually have no idea when I'll be able to update especially since my grades are going to be distributed this week (hopefully it gets postponed again...) Have a nice day~
