His pelt how it shined on that midnight so sublime.
Only now do I see it was just silly old me, wishing my life was a love story
I was the maiden and he was the knight, I found that with him my soul took its flight
I heard how he died and felt my heart crack, I watch as my kits turned their backs
Now as I lie on this forsaken beach, I saw something that until now only Starclan could reach
He is the fire that would save the clan; I felt this as he silently ran
I felt forgiven as their tongues rasped my fur, and felt the truth that got caught like a burr
I was living in a Fairy tale
