Thalia's POV
I have to let go but how can I let go. "Letting go doesn't mean giving up. It takes courage to let go. You should know that letting go means accepting that some things are cannot be." His words rang through out my head. I know power can get to me sometimes but maybe just maybe he could be here. Beside me even just for once in a while.
As he disappeared from my side to go back to the Elysium to keep Nico conscious, I walked back to the hangout place of the Apollo kids.
I wonder what Nico and Luke did to get their energies tied together? I might or might never find out. I got it! Truth or dare, I'll - no, Thalia Grace you know better.
I reached the place and went in; when I walked in they were giving me different faces. Most of them gave me faces of pity.
"Don't worry Perseus, he won't be coming back to life. Though he did tell me one thing interesting. It concerns Nico."
"What is it?" Annabeth asked.
"It's that his and Nico's energy were tied until Nico finds a girl. But I'm guessing that it's not just any girl; I'm guessing it's the other half," I said with a mischeavous grin on my face.
"Other half? You're not talking about that joke we made?"Annabeth said.
"I wasn't talking about the 'two feet, two hands and then one heart' quote. The other one, the part where a guy meets a girl and can't and won't ever find another one, loyalty-ish stuff. When you comeand think of it, they're both of the same concept," Annabeth and I nodded our head and shrugged it off.
"You mean like those birds?" My amnesiac brother said; which caused him to get slapped on the head by his girlfriend. "Pipes I actually want to get married before dying," that earned him another slap from Piper and a giggle from everybody else.
"No you idiot, she means one true love. It comes once in a lifetime. It may be one-sided love but it's real; and once you feel it you can't let go, no matter how hard you try, and it won't cost you any insanity," Piper took the words right out of my mouth. "Jason, its a nice thing that you're girlfriend has right timing, unlike you. Good thing you have a good taste on women." I looked at him with digust. Both he and Piper blushed then he went into defense mode.
"For one thing, I do have good timing; if I don't would you think I'd still be alive? Hello demigod here," he said gesturing to his whole body. "And Pipes is not my girlfriend, she's my best friend, better than Leo 'cuz with Pipes, I won't get pranked," then Leo said,
"HEY!" Causing us all to be thrown in a fit of giggles. It took us time to regain our composture.
"Then how come she knows this love stuff like Silena- oh right! You're Aphrodite's daughter. Too bad though, you look good with Jason. Let's get back to topic. Nico-" I said but Jason cut me off.
"Sis, you're sleeping at dad's cabin right?"Jason said.
I noded my head and said, "I don't have to pack 'cuz I already did. The hunters and I were originally leaving in the morning. I just need to grab my stuff later, without them knowing. Lady Artemis would cover for me. Over the past few months I've grown to love them. So maybe its best if they don't know," They all just nodded at me.
"You know their energies maybe tied together since he's the ghost king," Annabeth said changing the subject and for that I gave her a grateful smile.
"I don't know, I asked him what they did and he said that he'd tell me when the time is right," I contradicted. "Hmm.. Perce can use the fountain you use for I.M.?"
He gave me a wondering sure. I threw Annabeth the keys and said,
"After I do a call to someone I'm snatching my bag and heading to bed." They nodded at me. I left and went to Poseidon's cabin and did the usual. Throw a darchma in the air and say,
"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, accept my offering. Show me Zeus." The an image of my father appeared right in front of me. I called out his name and then he came forward to me.
"Thalia dear, is anything wrong?"
"Dad can we meet up tomorrow in Mt. Olympus just us, Lord Hades, Nico and Luke. I have somethinng important to ask you and please don't let anyone know, especially Hera. Just ask them not to come there for an hour or two, please?" I asked him with the most convincing look I have.
"Okay but might I ask why this is so important that we have to talk in person and why you never address Hera as Lady Hera?"
"If I have an arrangement with them only you might get angry and throw them to Tartarus and I never call her that 'cause it sounds wrong and at the same time she doesn't deserve it at all, I mean dad she dropped a statue on me! She wasn't really aiming on, she was aiming on Annabeth and hit me. You get my point." And might I tell you, when that statue dropped it hurt a lot.
"Di immortales Thalia! No need to scream,-" He was cut short 'cuz I needed another darchma and fortunately I still had plenty in my pocket. So I threw one in the air and it disappeared the imaged resumed on my dad.
"Could you please repeat what you were saying?" I said.
"As I was saying, no need to scream but if you do continue to make it a bit louder so the other gods from Mount Olympus hear you. Including my wife."
"You seem out of character today. Why is that?"
"I was wacthing some news and there was a show that mortals made and one of the charac-" I cut him short by saying,
"I'm heading to bed. Goodnight dad!" I waved my arms around the image and snuck into Lady Artemis' cabin and quietly took my bag away and headed to Zeus cabin. Surprisingly Jason still wasn't there. That got me thinking about Piper, Aphrodite girls like her are rare to even come; I hope Jason would have the guts to ask her out. Who know maybe he didn't have any romantic feelings toward Piper.
I'm just gonna watch 'till my little bro asks her out. I have plenty of time for that now that I'll be staying in Camp Half-blood for quite a long time. They just look so comfortable around each other.
I was too lazy to write. That's why it took so long for me to write. Anyways I would like to thank mrslukecastellan for reviewing from the very begining, nochance for reviewing once, and NeverEndingImagination1210 for reviewing from chapter three to chapter five. To those who put this story on story alert and/or added it to their list of favourite stories. I didn't keep track of who those people were so, sorry. Don't worry this is not yet the end. There might be one or two more chapters to go. If I have an idea I may put up an epilogue.
