As the street light's shone around a shadow lurked around the usually quite Miami suburb, little noise was left to be heard as it danced in the partial light. A glint of sliver reflected it's position every now and then, yet no one who wasn't looking for it would notice the slightest of reflection's from the inch long needle point. The wind howled over the shadows cough as it turned a corner into a squatter's house. Without the need to pick the lock it entered as a phantom of dark origin's, no one noticed as the shadow which was actually a rather more menacing being than the prior lurked up to the master bedroom. Of course the shadow was non other than Dexter Morgan, a accomplished Serial Killer, with a dark passenger worthy of a life of it's own. As Dexter drew a sharp breath he entered the bedroom to find his prey asleep with several needles beside the make-shift bed on which he slept. Dexter was soon injecting his animal tranquiliser and gagging his soon-to-be victim. As Dexter descended the stair's things became more complicated, someone was awake. Beaded sweat dripped from the murderer's forehead as he tip-toed to the awaiting door.

As Dexter got to the partially open side-door, he realised that what he had thought to be another squatter awake and moving was just simply the wind eating at the outside world, with another sharp breath, Dexter disappeared into the cover of night, protected by the darkness both inside and surrounding him.
