The story of Rumpelstiltskin and Belle, how their love blossoms

Forced to feel ashamed of who she really was, Regina kept her secret to herself, until an incredible blonde girl in a green hoodie walked past her locker one afternoon, causing her heart to skip a beat. Emma was the new kid in school, whose life was about to change forever when a beautiful brunette girl with sparkling brown eyes approached her in the local diner one afternoon.

A series of 100-500 word drabbles to accompany my rewatch of season 2 of Once Upon a Time as an attempt to finally jump start the muse again. There will be a drabble-either a deleted scene, a "fix it" fic or a character musing for each episode of the season. Focus will be on Emma, Henry, the Charmings and Killian-with an emphasis on the very beginnings of Captain Swan.

This is my first story to publish here on Fanfiction. I wrote this story ages ago for another website but decided to alter it for swanqueen. This is set in the real world and no magic.
