Chapter 2
Applejack's POV
Where am ah? Ah look around, not in Pony Ville. Ah here a gurgling laugh and ah spin around, coming face to face with Discord.
"What are you doing here" Ah ask aggressively, but genuinely curious.
He chuckles again. "Shall I explain" he cues.
No Pony's POV
Discord began his story. "You see Applejack, after I was brought to Pony Ville to be 'tamed' by Fluttershy; I was brought to Canterlot to clean up some of the mess I had made there that hadn't already been fixed. I had a little 'slip up'. Celestia and her side kick, imprisoned me with a spell, weakening my powers and shipping me out to the Everfree Forest. The only thing that can give back what's rightfully mine is the Alicorn Ruby. Only alicorns can touch it, and your friend Twilight is the only one that would give it to me."
"Twilight would give it to you, she's loyal to Equestria!" Applejack shouted.
Discord grinned maniacally "With the right 'motivation' she will."
"And what would that be!" Applejack asked defiantly.
"You!" Discord entered a laughing fit.
"I won't let her; she'd never betray the princes!" Applejack said, glaring at her captor.
"Listen" Discord became hostile." If I don't have that ruby in my paw in one week's time, you pony, might find yourself in the apple orchard in the sky!"
Apple jack fell silent, Discords threat echoing in her ears.
He chuckled "That's what I thought."
"The most beautiful thing about this whole plan is there is no way Twilight can avoid my deal, after all you can't imprison me unless you have honesty."
Twilight's POV
I pace back and forth, my friend eyes resting on me.
Suddenly Discord's voice fills the room.
Silence engulfs the room. Not even Pinkie makes a single noise. After what seems to be forever the silence is broken.
"We have to save her" Rainbow says, her voice is unsure and quieter than normal.
"But if we do Discord will rampage, he may even destroy entire families" Rarity says stiffly.
No pony really says anything after that, we all just sit together in complete shock.
