Hey guys!
Rather short chapter here, and it is incredibly unacceptable, but I felt I owed you guys an UPDATE, however unappealing it may be.
Really short, probably really over-used Spitfire drabble.
A preview for the next, MUCH LONGER, chapter
(Spitfire, original idea submitted by monzepelmoon - thanks again! =D )
at the end! I hope to have it out by sometime next week :)

It was Halloween, and Artemis could not believe what was happening to her at that moment.
Wally was on his knees, hands clasped, mouth set in a quivering pout, and his green eyes were wide.
"Please please, please Artemis! Can I go?"
Artemis imagined being gutted like a fish dangled from the ceiling would be less painful than this. "You're acting like a child; start acting your age," she scolded, crossing her arms.
"PLEASE can I go? Robin texted me about an hour ago asking if I could come with him!"
"Robin's almost fifteen. It's time he starts acting his age too."
"But ARTEMIS, all the free stuff!"
"You mean candy,"
"YES! All the free candy!"
"You are being ridiculous,"
"BUT IT'S FOOD,"
"Then go eat dinner at your house! You are NOT going trick-or-treating!" Artemis almost shouted, scowling.
Wally gave her his best puppy-dog eyes but Artemis snuffed the look with a murderous glare.
"You can literally just zip your way down the hall and grab anything you want out of the fridge, but no. 17 – almost 18 – year old Wally West has to beg his girlfriend just to let him dress up in a costume, as if he doesn't already do it every day of his life, and go trick-or-treating. It's a holiday for KIDS, Wally! What are you going to do? Run up to someone's front door and say 'Oh hi! I'm Kid Flash! Trick or treat!' and steal some kids candy?"
Wally's eyes glimmered. "Do you think that would work?"
Artemis nearly screamed. Her hands clenched and unclenched, fingers curling as if she was imagining strangling the speedster, eyes reflecting cold, furious denial – Artemis's way of trying to convince herself the situation wasn't really happening.
"It's bad enough M'Gann wanted me to come to her school dance again, but now my boyfriend has to act like a 4 year old and sprint around as the Wolfman." She mumbled, turning away and stomping down the hall.
"You seem to forget that I already WAS a werewolf, babe!" he called.
Artemis groaned, and Wally grinned, laughing to himself.
Robin popped out of the kitchen and shook his head. "Dude, you should go find some butter, because you are toast." He cackled.
Hey everyone!
Like I said, unacceptably short, but here's the preview for one of the upcoming chapters!
If you can guess what it's based off of - it is a spy movie, not very new at all - then virtual cookies for you! ;D
It's not too hard to figure out
Double the cookies, since I haven't seen the movie and don't know wth I'm trying to write D:
hehehe, I'm doomed.
~Aoi~
My name is Artemis Crock.
Agent B07 under the League of Shadows – I'm a spy, better known by my alias Tigress. Age 20, blonde haired, gray-eyed – trained to use a variety of weapons, though more commonly can be found to wield a bow.
Any target I set my eyes on has a second to pray for mercy before it's been wiped off the slate.
Except for him, it seems.
Wally West, 21, red-haired, green-eyed – he doesn't seem special at all. Just a normal, every day, guy. All he ever really does is eat. He's an annoying, pig-headed, presumptuous ignoramus at the same time he's caring for the people he loves, and compassionate for the things he does.
But I've known this for years.
Wally West is a precocious, sarcastic, level-headed, smooth little shit-face who sweeps me off my feet just by flashing that stupid grin of his, raising his glass, and embarrassing himself in the process of taking a drink as wine pours over his chin and streaks down his clothes.
Somehow, he found his way onto my radar. At least it was in a good way.
I'm supposed to be searching for my next target – some brat known as the "Flash", who works for our sworn enemy the Justice League. Any witnesses are to be dealt with, and are to furthermore disappear. Not from public view – from the face of the earth entirely.
But how did I suddenly find myself sitting in a lovely café in Gotham City, seated next to the man I love, and who would – in the end – steal my heart at the same time he would be in charge of breaking it?
I'm in for the shock of a lifetime, because I'm about to find out the true identity of the man I thought I knew everything about.
In the end, I'm his next target, just as he is mine.
