Prologue
A/N: I own nothing, but the plot of this story and my two OC's. Understand? Then its all good! Read on!
A dark room in the basement of the Shrina building. My environment has been that way for four years. I have been this company's little secret for years. This life of madness is sickening. I wanna see the light of day again. I wanna see even more than Midgar. I wanna see the world. I wanna do it while I'm still young. I'm 8 and have been here for four years I think it's time I left this place. The door to my room flung open and there stood a figure, long and slender. His silver head of hair came into the dim left illuminating the doorway. A lone cold sigh left my mouth, the steam that came from it was clearly visible. My blue eyes opened in slits, they shined bright in the darkness of the room. Footsteps could be heard loud and clear from the stairway leading down into the damp basement. The flick of a switch and all the lights of the room came on. There standing a distance away from the bed I lay motionless is a man. His silver mane flowed down his back gracefully, as if dancing. His gloved hand held in it a long katana, covered in blood. I reached into my hair and pulled a strand from the tuft that stood in the center. I examined hair I just took from my head. It was silver. "You, you are like me." Seeing as my usually black hair changed color as the tall man grew ever closer. "Yes, but I'm am more than just like you, I am your family, I am your uncle." My eyes snapped open. "Your foolish father, my brother, bore you from a human woman, making you a half-Cetra, but Cetra none the less. You have the power to end this pitiful world, full of nothing but toothless worms. My name is Sephiroth." He sheathed the slim blade he held in his hands and made his way over to where I now stood dumbfounded. He bent down and his arm found its way around my waist. I looked back into his eyes, they were glowing like mine. He raised his hand toward the ceiling of where we were and the words came quietly out of his mouth, "Burn." A ball of fire left from his fingertips and destroyed the ceiling above us. He held onto me as we lifted out the ground. A black wing flapped in front of my line of sight. 'What's next? What does he want from me?' This question lingered in my head as we soared atop Midgar, me seeing the city once again.
